I dont know if you have included this in your program or not but maybe teach people about why what you eat either satisfies your hunger or makes you crave more by explaining the two receptors that you need to satisfy in order to feel satisfied and not end up still being hungry and overeating ...stretch receptors and nutrient receptors . Great work you are doing by the way your awesome ! Good luck to you!
Great video and great message: “You are not the exception to the calorie deficit rule.” The challenge is knowing what that calorie deficit needs to be for me as well as being consistent.
Another great graphic, this time depicting the difference in average calories. I think I def. don't restrict calories. I'm really active, big and strong. I EAT good foods. With your advice my action steps are to consider my day to day meals for the reason stopping me from losing weight. just starting out on the plant based. My action steps are to continue reducing animal product intake and meal prep some staples so I can healthfully make half my dish starch/non-starch veg. No oil, granola. Watch out for nuts, avocado. Do foods with high water consistency. That meal at 15:05 min looks amazing! :P Thanks Chels :)

Some very good points! Lately I've been having some consistency issues, and even though I'm eating well 5-6 days a week... it's those 1-2 days a week that are bringing my average total calories count up.
Thank you for the great information! I only have 10 final pounds that I desire to lose. I am at a very healthy weight but would like to remove a little remaining belly and thigh fat. Anyhow it’s daily meals..the avocado added etc that’s my issue or a handful of nuts for a snack.
Consistency is my problem. Hubby buys a package of chocolate chip cookies and says, "awww, come one, you can have just one." And I do, and it's sabbotage! He isn't on board with WFPB, so he does make it difficult from time to time.

I had have blood work done and got everything checked and I need to eat below 1500 calories to lose fat but that's not much to eat I go over pretty easy. So I am going to the gym to improve my muscle quality so I can raise my BMR so I can eat more calories and be in a deficit so it's not like being in hell all the time because your hungry
I would say my biggest problem is I eat so go Monday Thur Friday and bing on weekend... I know that is the problem.. but also I have pcos and I am only 5 foot and I have a desk job .. is so hard to stick to 1500 calories.. I know you say most people need to be around 1700 but I bet I am one of those 1500 people .. and eatting no fat is not always satisfying... And I like a snack after dinner and I don't always want fruit .. I k ow the problem it's just doing it consistently ...

Currently breastfeeding and weight loss is going SUPER slow... When I tried doing the 50/50 plate with starches and veggies I wasn't producing enough milk (we are cosleeping and breastfeeding on demand). Since increasing my starches and lowering the veggie intake my supply is amazing but weight loss is very slow. I also have trouble with the consistency because once a week my children love to bake with me (which I grew up doing and I love too).
Mixture. I tend to eat the alternative meats and cheeses on the weekends and starve myself throughout the week. Apparently for some Beyond Burger and Chick’n. 🙈💩 Back on the proverbial saddle. 😂❤

Chelsea I have ibs-c I went hard core and I was in so much pain what may have I've done wrong? I'm 5'2 tall women 46yrs old and weight 151.00.I'm overweight for my size .I have a severe back problem.
Calorie counting is crucial. And it naturally leads to low fat because it shows you how much more you can eat if you go low fat. Lost two stone just doing that. Stay accountable and consistent. Take a week of at maintenance every three months if you have a lot to drop.
Not crucial, or necessary for most people. In fact it doesn’t help many people at all, not long term. The statistical success from calorie counting is abysmal
