As a customer service employee, I can tell you all right now, that old people are often the biggest Karens. They either are going to be the nicest out of the bunch, or the rudest... there is no in between. They either treat you like you just stabbed their Father, or like you are their favorite grandkid.
Yep sadly my mom is one of the ones who's passive aggressive as hell with servers and it bugs the shit out of me like the server is not responsible for how well the food is and if my mom would speak above a fucking whisper maybe the server could understand your order but nope if she has to repeat her order once then it's immediately time to act like she's been wronged and the waitress/waiter can't do their job ... Gladly I worked in retail and things like that so I'm as patient as possible and as long as the server is polite with me they get a tip if their not then I don't give them shit other than a "have a nice day"
