Just finished mine. Main gimbals concept the same but used some spot lights to get some shadows, and the centre sphere I made with glowing red orb material. Also added volume for the mood. Rendering now, 6min per frame in 4K. 600 frames (planing to run it at 60 fps). Will take some time but it’s gonna be sweet!
*Hello bro! I have watched all your texture painting videos and got so much value, but still i'm not getting that if i want to put multiple base color and other maps on top of one how can we do that using texture painting. Please reply if you can*
Again this was a great tutorial, Ryan. Thank you for that. One request though: would it be possible to mention the dimensions of the object you're using? It would help.
Hi Ryan! I love your videos and tutorials about procedural materials but I don't know how to export them to unreal engine 5 I wish you could explain to me or make a tutorial on how to export procedural materials. Ty for another great vid!
This one was fun! Here's my take on it: I used some different PBR materials from my collection; Made a different base, added some animated lights to both the base and the center sphere; used a favorite "machine shop" HDRI and some ambient sound that goes well with the shop setting. Thanks as always, Ryan - you're the hardest working Blender-tutor out there! ua-cam.com/users/shortsVismYzINnMg
I was going to port over to Blender the following animation I conceived of, and created in Lightwave 3D, a few years ago, but I didn't want to just copy my own work, its titled: "Concentric Circle Cinema (Abstract Art Animation)". I love your animation Ryan and it resonated with me immediately because it is the same concept that I did a few years ago. So I was wondering if you could give me some pointers on how I could create this same exact animation in Blender? And I would love to get your ideas (and maybe create tutorials on the following animations in the series I created a few years ago entitled: Abstract Art Animations: Picture Perfect Precision Pendulums - You already recently did a tutorial on this one, Thanks! Pin Point Precision Pendulum Sinking Spiral Spring Chrome Contraption Newton's Cradle, Perpetual Bouncing Beach Ball & Basketball Ballet Brilliance Thank you Ryan, you are my "go-to-guy" for unique and original ideas in Blender! Keep up the great work!
Question: What kind of cam do you use? Also, do you use OBS to remove the background behind you or do you use other software? Also, this tutorial is really cool :)
Hello brother, I want to learn 3D chrachter modeling and animation, I have been learning blender for six months, I have learned the basics of modeling and some basic camera animations and now I am a little confused between Maya and Blender. I want to become an animator and chracter artist and want to work in the industry. I see your profile, you learn Maya, can you help explain why you chose Maya instead of Blender and where do I go for Maya or Blender.
I don't use Maya, I have only ever used Blender. I'm not sure which program is best to learn to get a job as an animator. I know Blender is a great program, but I also know many 3d animation studios use Maya.

thank you for your support! Supporters like you help me to keep creating these free tutorials!
Btw, why is there a loss of sound when I join the sounds into a metastrip? Thanks, Ry!
Hmm, I don't know why. Doesn't happen to me. Could be a bug in Blender. @@Gregory_Harshfield
That was fun 🤗 thx. My brain clicked when doing the rotation of the rings. Now I understand keyframes better. This looks soo cool!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for that masterpiece tutorial pal.
your welcome!
Great tutorial. I like it that it incorporates animation and is more challenging.
thanks!

What about glowy spinning rings that change colors? Is that too much?
you could totally do that if you want
@@RyanKingArt I'm willing to try.

ha ha, no one is man enough to do a Cycles blender 4' cycles texture paint brush bump
is there any reason why the show retiming keys check box wouldnt be showing up in the video editor?
its a newer feature, so if your using an older blender version, it may not be there.
@@RyanKingArt ok thank you very much! I dont know why i didnt think of that!
