Just came across this video and I am STOKED to get home from work tonight and adjust my build accordingly. Thank you so much for putting this out there! Happiest sub and like I've dolled out in a while!
You can actually use this build with a controller, but the targeting is terrible and often you have to run past a couple mobs in order to try and get your target to lock onto something further across the room. The biggest disadvantage however is that you can't target past the mob you want to hit, so often you're just pushing it back and out of your landslides.
They should add an element on the controller where you use the skill and it automatically goes max distance and you use the skill again to stop it wherever you choose.
@@glucosepappy9663 came here to suggest this. On most bosses it will trample through them. But on elites I just run slightly past then use and it walks right into it. Or I will target towards another pack or just away from the elite. It helps immensely with circle kiting and positioning.
Nice build, I've recently shifted into a build close to this on my 75 druid. I was running a trample slide build where I was using pulverize and poison creeper to get terramotes, and then went into an overpower secondary focus, with 3 sources of guaranteed overpower. I figured with all the willpower and fortify the druid is naturally geared towards overpower. The problem I found with that build was that 2 of the 3 guaranteed sources of overpower were hard to track (the one with pulverizes was easy because it would only apply to pulverize), but the overpowers from provocation and obsidian slam would often get wasted on a cast of earth spike, plus it was just hard to keep track of the tickers on those two skills in when you're trampling into huge mobs. If there was a mod where you could make those timers larger or more central I might go back to that build because I thought it was fun. I'm enjoying this build a lot too, and love that my trample is up a lot more. One comment I have on your build is that I'm curious why you opted to not take nature's reach? I feel like most damage from trampleslide and solo casts of landslide are distant damage and those 3 points would give you 18% more damage which feels like a lot. Perhaps you feel like you need to defensive options more. There is definitely a balance between killing stuff fast enough to take less damage and preventing damage you're inevitably going to take. Finally, I still have mending stone on my pants. I find it hard to give up because unstoppable and walking through enemies is so valuable when you're charging into huge mobs, but I see disobediance on so many builds I know I need to try it. Also interesting you gave up the 30% crit damage for more attack speed in the boons. I find that one hard to part with, or take both and give up calm before the storm. I need to try out some of your variations. I need to play around with the aspects a bit too. Have you tried the rapid aspect for 30% more attack speed? I wonder if that just skyrockets the symbiotic proc and if it's worth giving up edgemasters or another aspect. Thanks for the video!
Great post can tell your theory crafter as well. I'm lagging on leveling my druid because I spend too much time thinking about the kind of build I want to run lol. I need to just pick something and level so I can start getting the uniques and actually have more options to fight higher-tier harder content which makes these kinds of small decisions matter a lot more than just face stomping similar level mobs.
@@drtyprior I'd say just level with whatever you think is fun to play. The main issue with leveling druid early is dealing with the resource generation issue that druid's suffer from. You need to solve that problem through gear/talents/builds early but can shift as it becomes less of an issue later. I'd recommend using at least 1 companion skill because they're cooldowns are reasonable and they don't require spirit. Poison creeper is really the best one early on. Clarity is also a great way to get a bit of spirit boost if you're using shapeshifting abilities. I love the class and I'm having a lot of fun with it, I want to try some different builds but I've found trample slide to be a lot of fun.
I would love to see a summary video of all your druid builds with "some kind" of ranking for different content / stages of the game and things you want to explore in the future
@carthh1 have you thought of any builds using the druid unique ring that seems to be for a bear and wolf together build. Not seen anyone play with that yet.. might be something there especially with the aspect that makes wolf and bear nature's fury or whatever it was
Set up this build this morning and it worked amazing! However I finally got Tempest to drop so it was short lived. Thanks so much for your time and effort making these videos they have been a great help.
I’ve been playing trample slide for weeks without any issues on controller. You can’t just trample blindly/unplanned. That’s the biggest issue for most controller players. Trample isn’t auto targeting anything just because someone is on controller. Most players I run into who also use trampleslide are simply not thinking about their destination point and angling themselves for best effect. Players need to trample towards corners, walls, doors, or columns which will trap enemies up against an immovable object instead of trampling Willy-Nilly and throwing ads all around the room and out of their landslides.
I already do this. My trampleslide survives quite well. I feel it’s not built properly. My DPS just not there. I’m level 73 and I can do Tier 24 on my own. But it takes awhile.
man, i was not having a very good time with my druid, kind of not really enjoying the class at all then i stumbled across your no unique build, figured id give it ago couldn't hurt, I LOVE MY DRUID, i just got the Visily helmet lastnight, thought it could be good to run on this build turns out it is
@@shady__queen738 not true at all. Currently my imperfect build is hitting 1.2mil per cast. That's JUST the skill. Doesn't include all the other effects and powers it's triggering. Also running Nature's Fury + the power that lowers cooldowns when it procs = permanent Earthen Bulwark. Once I get perfect stats/items the build will hit way harder and should let me almost infinitely cast Lightning Storm. Don't listen to UA-camrs/Streamers. They're just playing "meta" builds like 99% of the community. There's plenty of other builds out there you can come up with that are just as good/better if you just take the time to play the game yourself.
Thank you for this! I was so tired of playing Pulverize and this is so far the only trampleslide build that has worked for me. I'm running nightmare dungeons with lvl 85 mobs even though I'm only 75, with low level glyphs, and not even meeting most of my paragon board stat requirements. Running Vasily's Prayer and Insatiable Fury makes a huge difference.
lol ye suuuuuuuuure dude. Im level 84 and I was doing 51s and 52s and the mobs are already 22 levels higher than me hitting like an absolute truck because of the level discrepancy so I am sure you are outright lying for some weird reason.
agreed im def going this in season one if they dont change everything. I leveled as this from the start and it was the smoothest leveling process so far. I did the capstone dungeon in w3 at level 51 killing lvl 70 mobs with no problems.
Bro this build is legit AF! I'm testing it now in NM dungeons only 3 levels up from me, just to see where it's at and it's fun AF!! I'm level 61, it clears enemies out solid and survivability is legit! I will pop off landslide if trample didn't clear out the pack And you're the first UA-camr in their build vid that says you won't consume spirit with this build that actually means it, spirit is no issue with this build if it's set up like it is in the video!! Good chit!!!!
My other difference in my build was I have a nice axe that has aftershock on it, I couldn't roll that off cause the stats are too good on it So for now I don't have Edgemasters anywhere in my build I'm gonna eventually change that up Im gonna look for a good enough ring to put Edgemasters on and give up loop of the umbral
So, how to get trample slide to work with a controller? since we can pick a distant spot to charge, we end up hitting the first mob, and that just ruins the entire slide.
cool build which comes close to what i was running while leveling. I ran a more trash oriented build which was meh for bosses. I used shred and trampleslide with earthern might with the unique ring that resets werebear skill if you kill something with a werewolf skill. I havent tried it in a bit but it was pretty good at that point in time. It also allowed to chaining roar for the 70% dr with 100% uptime in trashpacks. Could also see a world where you run tornado with unique helmet and ring for more procs.
@@quelquun8052 ye thats what i was doing :D i used trampleslide to proc earthern might but in bigger packs you can just spam that and shred. Was actually the most fun build i came up with but fell off. So maybe someone with a brain can do something with it haha
W build my dude. I find poison creeper to hit way harder with the landslides than trample, if you switch the natural balance aspect to your amulet, it makes storm strike reset poison creeper more consistently
Watched your other video put this build together and noticed the difference with me on Xbox thank you for pointing that out in this video gg great build though
@carthh I've been lurking in your vids and I wanted to see if you've tested the werebear poison aspect? But more specifically, if you use the wereWolf helmet to convert storm to werewolf, would the lightning procs while trampling be tagged as werewolf? If it works, then it would poison monsters which procs envenom. The point is to get more reliable poison and you could spec out of poison creeper. Would love to hear back on whether it works.
this build is so god damn good. im only level 68 and im using Cron's staff but its incredible how tanky and how much damage it does. seeing everything die to trample is also a great feeling
I was using the toxic shredder werewolf build and then tried this and there's no comparison. Trampleslide is so much more powerful. I'm just melting enemies in WT4 now. The difference is pretty amazing
Supplement with bulwark explosions and it flows well, add barrier gen to as many items as you can and it can hit for millions of damage to finish off those pesky elites, yes you will still have the occasional bad rng and stuck spamming storm strike. Also I think running tempest roar helm to use hurricane and storm strike as shapeshifting skills is better for the heals and ability to run armor bonus and dmg reduction while werewolf, this makes sure you are still tanky when spamming storm strike. Yes you lose ranks to landslide but at tier 50 it kills fast enough- you can get +4 ranks to landslide on gloves to compensate
Add’l info is when werewolf you run the passives for poison on Crit so hurricane and storm strikes poison instead of running creeper, perhaps not as many teramotes this way but this is why you need the bulwark explosions to supplement dmg, also to take full advantage of natures fury you need one earth one storm from each category which is why I think wolf helm + hurricane is better than creeper, each trample that procs natures fury resets hurricane, so you get resets on hurricane, bulwark, and trample, each one procing the other. Also you want short 3 sec bulwark so explosions are more often
@@brandonjackson2275 yes diamonds in armor pieces and I have a decent roll of barrier gen in my off hand, get 2.4 mill Crit hits to vulnerable enemies, I’m still looking for good jewelry with barrier gen rolls, dmg scaling seems crazy with this so not sure it’s intended and could get needed but I will enjoy it while it lasts….extra ranks to bulwark supposedly don’t affect the blast damage so I don’t run that on my chest piece but I think you can get barrier gen on that as well
@@brandonjackson2275 but you are correct, no bulwark aspects just the 40x Crit to cc enemies and the 45x earth dmg after storm cast, I think I also run the 20x based on primary resource since we are not casting a spender
Nice build, since I am getting sick of pulverize, I might try this, as I think I have all the aspects... One question though, are you sure that passives like heightened senses work, as with insatiable fury and vasils prayer you don't really shift out of werebear even when casting landslide...
Great video! helped me a lot, I was tired of the spray build. One question: Using the staff "GREAT STAFF OF THE CRONE" can negatively affect the build? I already play with the other two unique items(helm and chest).
Trample with a Controller : use your right stick to mark a distant target to take full advantage of the skill. This should be tied to a button hold to keep charging instead!
It's strong but even with staff of the crone you'll have large gaps of no proc resets. Combined with the knockback even if you aim properly can make it annoying. Really great in small dungeons where it doesn't matter but gets clunckly at time. Fun but moved on to other builds without resource or reset problems.
I feel like if you manage to get the staff of the crone you should just go full auto attack wolf build. and if you get the unique storm wolf helm throw some tornado in there if you want. I wish I could find that staff haha.
crone staff is a 2H tho so it doesn't attack that fast... beastial rage only gives like 20% which isn't that much at all... unless you roll maybe a really good basic attack 50% AS i'm not sure if it would be fast enough to keep you sustained? i have all the uniques (my crone staff is only like 680 natural power level tho) but not sure what i should really be committing to bc nothing really feels right
If you're keeping Earthen Bulwark generally on cooldown, how are you not dying to frozen / fear elites? I switched my build over and shredded a frozen key cuz I just couldn't break CC long enough to reset CDs. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
It would be amazing to see a version of this build that takes advantage of the new subterranean aspect for the druid! Almost done with my final paragon point for this build and it is insanely fun!
IMO, this is what you should do: ASPECTS for vasily's and insatiable Amulet: Trampled Earth Gloves, Boots: Ballistic, Symbiotic Legs: Disobedience Ring, Ring, 1H, Offhand: Aftershock, Retaliation, Subterranean, Natural Balance Maximize the CDR on amulet and offhand. You probably want a 1H mace for the Overpower.
Do you need to put landslide on the actionbar? I´m using a Landslide, trample, bulwark, pulverize build. Main damage comes from Trample and bulwark. Besides that i´m using a legendary which makes my wolf basic electro type. Because i have a chance to hit twice sometimes. More chance to reset the CD. Pulverize is just a Spirit spender and doin moderate damage. No clue if this is smart.. But i can farm T4 dungeons atm. Feels good.
One trick I noticed on the procing of nature's fury. I swapped out a ring and put in the werebear skills are now earth skills and werewolf skills are now storm skills which I know seems redundant with Vasilly's prayer but damn if I don't proc the reset more - I am thinking it double stacks??
What about adding in something like loop of the changelings debt? To do instant poison damage from wearbear skills? Poison creeper procs quite a bit with this build
I'm doing a trample/pulverize build with them earth skills and the second pillars aspect with the the unique making my earth skills werebear skills and nature's fury. I'm also running hurricane, I'm lvl 55 atm so It's pretty strong for where I'm at now given I spam pulverize and it's a earth skills it resets my hurricane or just casts a free one a lot of the time. I'm not sure on how ima do it yet but I'm thinking of doing a bulwark hybrid build with the trample 🤔. But I'm on controller. You have to pay attention to the little red arrow on the enemies, if you spam it it'll hit the closest one
Would accelerating and rapid give more symbiotic PPM and more tramples and thus higher DPS? Or is Edgemasters and Retaliation better even with fewer tramples?
It will definitely give you more procs, whether it's more dps or not it's hard to say. If you go an attack speed route I would recommend probably dropping the terra mote synergy entirely because if you're casting a lot more tramples you won't be able to keep up your terra motes.
Came up with the build on my own which feels good. Im so glad its getting popular. Also putting 40-50% increased attack speed after crit on the staff and the build is wayyy more fun. Much faster and you deal more damage.
It's hard to say without testing either of them. I came up with some improvements to the build before the changes and now that it got buffed I'd like to revisit the build at some point and do some testing
I asked this in the non-unique build, but i'll put it here too.. With such a focus on landslide, could you weave the Subterranean aspect into this without losing something to important?
You can play it on a controller but you have to walk closer until it targets a different monster. Definitely more playable on mouse and keyboard though
Trying to factor in activating all the passives (thinking of Resonance here) and squeezing out the most damage, what's your go-to skill rotation when coming up on a mob?
@@carthh_ OK, I was thinking in terms of getting the most out of the extra CC Damage from Creeper, Petrify, and any interactions with Resonance. Most stuff dies pretty quick at my level (64), but I imagine optimizing the rotation for harder enemies will come in handy and I didn't know if you had a go-to rotation for that. Thanks for the reply!
Hey carthh hows it going i was wondering if you know if the healtg received stat works with masochistic to recieve even more healing or if it is just potions thank you
Debilitating roar is a solid addition for damage reduction, I just didn't feel like it quite fit in and synergized as well with the rest of my build, but you can certainly include it.
I found Pulverize boring to play, Trampleslide is far more interesting and the way the landslide damage intensifies on subsequent hits is really fun when taking on bosses. I'll probably move away to something different once TF drops (yeah right) but until then I'll keep tweaking it as I level.
Do you really find Ghost walker to be worth it? I'm putting symbiotic on the boots and accelerating/rapid on the hands. I'm thinking about dropping edgemaster so I can run both atk speed aspects. Stacking attack should be getting insane proc chances. Does the immobilize from storm strike give you a mote if they're already immobo'd from poison creeper? I'm thinking 30% atk speed is worth testing over the 20% dmg from edgemaster.
Also, dunno if you've tested it. This build is amazing in pvp. I get wrecked by some barbs, but that's only because barbs are busted right now. Anything else I come out on top.
Carthh, did you know if its a new change, or its always been there, that landslide has to be on your bar, to get terramotes? So trampleslide without having landslide on your bar, doesn't generate them? I just noticed that today.
There is a cobination of aspect that I use that I dont see you using and that is "earth skills slow enemies by X% for 5 seconds" this causes CC which then pairs with "earth skils for bonus 30-60% extra crit damahe to CC'd enemies". Any thoughts on thsi combo?
We already crowd control enemies with poison creeper and petrify so quicksand isn't needed and wastes an aspect slot. Crashstone can be used if you can guarantee the monster will always be crowd controlled and you will crit, but it also doesn't work against bosses.
There are diminishing returns on damage while fortified - what do you think about rubies in the armor instead of the sapphires, due to the diminishing returns?
Rubies are weird because they're not actually max life, they're like % of your max life minus any flat life bonuses you added. I didn't feel as tanky with them personally but I could see them being better at certain gear levels
so if aspect of trample earth causes trample to be an earth skill.. won't it eat up all earth resonance? im guessing resonance is just for manual casts?
Can this be the end game or mid game? When you say mid game then what NM lvl are you talking about? I can do up to NM 32 but butcher still gets me sadly. I will make some changes. I was using Ancestral unique weapon but I think I have drop it if I want to go higher NM lvl.
I think in terms of nightmare dungeons, once you start going past level 50 nightmare dungeons, you're starting to get into the endgame. Before that or anytime you're fighting monsters around your level is mid game to me
Earthen Bulwarks damage skill is a good nuke in an Earth based build. I use it over the fortify for extra damage. You'll be surprised how much extra damage it does. Make sure you stack barrier bonuses gems for extra damage.
@@brandonjackson2275 No aspects to bump the bulwarks damage. But I am using the one that makes it last 6 secs longer. If you read that skills tooltip, it mentions barrier generation increases its damage.
@@BoobeamTrap I have the Bulwark aspect on my chest. But I'm using a 1 hander and totem for extra cooldown and atk speed. I've not had to give up any aspects. But you could also make explosive bulwark a separate build. Still use nature's fury for the cooldown, but find other aspects that boost its damage. If your cooldown is good enough you can keep pulsing your exploding bulwark as an aoe attack. But i find it's just extra damage for this build.
That's funny you should ask that, that is exactly what I'm working on right now! Hoping to get the video out by the start of the weekend keep an eye out!
@@tienphuc97 I'm waiting on Crone AND Tempest. In the meantime, this has been great for farming and that's before I got Vasily (which blessedly dropped yesterday).
Awesome content as always! I've been running your original pulverize trampled earth build and having a blast. Just hit level 80 and running T40 nightmare dungeons with no problem. In the video you kind of passed off the build as a build that you used to level to get to stormwolf, but I wonder if you revisited it with a full paragon board and better gear you'd find it better than this version. In the video your paragon board was for the stormwolf build and you said the gear stats were not important (though I am also using Vasily's and Insatiable like you were). Pulverize to smash enemies, trample to clear everything and replenish resource, and landslide is actually pretty nice on a ranged single target cycling between earth spike. My gloves have both pulverize and landslide. Otherwise I focus on core skills, crit damage, max life, damage reduction (and with fortified), vulnerable, attack speed, lucky hit, spirit cost reduction, cooldown reduction and movement speed on my gear. Right now I'm using a staff but after watching this I'm wondering if running a 1h with totem would give me more value to add retaliation or something else. I also prefer quicksand to ghostwalker. Thanks for the great videos!
I think the combination build can definitely be viable for leveling to 100. I think the weakness comes when you start to do harder content, the aspects feel kind of split down the middle. For example shockwave and ursine horror don't buff your landslides, and aftershock and trampled earth do not buff your pulverize. You won't notice it unless you try to push high content, but you get kind of forced into putting as many mutlipliers as you can into one skill to do enough damage.
@@carthh_ For pants getting 1000 life makes me go from 15500 to 16500 life, which is only like 6,5% increase - where getting the overall %dmg reduction stat instead can give up to 10% dmg reduction. Maybe it is just because i was really disappointed, when i figured out that life on gear does not scale with paragon %life, not even sure if it scales with the elixir either. BTW: love your builds, i started with landslide, then switched to trampleslide, and then played pulverize to 92, where i got my one and only Tempest Roar and switched to the Stormwolf build which got me to lvl 100 - currently still playing the stormwolf, and have solo'ed a tier 82 NM! Gonna try and push for 100 before Season 1. I'm also gonna try this full trampleslide build on my second druid, i like the addition of Symbiotic. Currently playing around with companions, it's just not impressive.
Just remember there are diminishing returns on damage reduction. So as your damage reduction goes higher in one particular stat, you will be getting less value with each addition
Great build! I was lucky enough to pick up some of these synergistic uniques around level 53 and the build is just so synergistic and fun! There are some earthen bulwark builds now too that focus on the millions of damage you can deal with it, I’m curious if we can mix the 2 since there’s so much overlap.
Definitely can do a combination with it. Personally I am avoiding the bulwark explosions since the damage is bugged on it but I know a lot of people are using it
@@carthh_ just out of curiosity, what is the bug with earthen bulwark explosions? i'm using this+bulwark and I know it does really high damage but dont know how it is bugged personally also I dont think wizards will change the interaction of re-immobilizing an enemy and terramotes, since it is working as intended, you can only immobilize an enemy if they are not immobilized to begin with, refreshing duration is not applying a new status and that is intended behaviour imho. I do think terramotes should be consumed per enemy hit per cast and not for each hit of the ability though. a simple change like that would actually make terramotes viable in the endgame which they are not atm from my experience.
@@zackfaircc5624 when something does instanely high damage compared to other setups, it is either because of a bug or a fallacy in the configurations. They either fix it or nerf it, but it won't stay with a DPS twice that of the 2nd build in line, since it would be too overpowered. Apart from this, I guess @carthh1 is also not in favor of opting for these exploit-like OP builds, since he was already pushing Wolf builds when it seemed like B tier max.
People keep talking about "broken builds, millions of damage", even doing tier 100 dungeons as a druid, doing the "broken build" with almost best in slot gear,, if u aren't doing that type of damage, u simply cannot and will not complete the dungeon. If u aren't hitting 20+million those dungeons just won't ever be completed by 99% of the player base, most classes have high damage builds, and if they nerf the ones who can actually complete the tier100, they are removing the ability to clear it.
wind shear for the clear speed and consistency of resetting from afar. or use the werewolf staff to trigger storm strike with claw for infinite reset. Someone test it uber end game
Windshear's just a damn good asset of having Physical damage range attack especially if you get those pesky bottle necks in a dungeon where it's just a hair too risky to trample in so you could at least pull a few mobs' attention to peck away before going nuts with the usual

man, i was not having a very good time with my druid, kind of not really enjoying the class at all then i stumbled across your no unique build, figured id give it ago couldn't hurt, I LOVE MY DRUID, i just got the Visily helmet lastnight, thought it could be good to run on this build turns out it is
Welcome aboard!
Go lightning storm instead. It's even more fun than all these weresheep builds.
@@Akihito_Kanbara i wanted a lightning storm build, just heard they are super weak lol
What world tier?
@@jiggyjiggy7179 tier 4
Can't wait for the community to finally discover the superior Lightning Storm so these videos stop popping up on my feed.
lol ye suuuuuuuuure dude. Im level 84 and I was doing 51s and 52s and the mobs are already 22 levels higher than me hitting like an absolute truck because of the level discrepancy so I am sure you are outright lying for some weird reason.
@@Akihito_Kanbara what Lightning Storm build?
agreed im def going this in season one if they dont change everything. I leveled as this from the start and it was the smoothest leveling process so far. I did the capstone dungeon in w3 at level 51 killing lvl 70 mobs with no problems.
Hopefully blizzard fixes the auto target on controller. Or at the very least give us an option to turn the auto target on/off in the settings
It works! The build is surprisingly fun. I was tired of my Pulverize bear.. I changed the weapon to 2H staff though, for better damage.
Bro this build is legit AF!
I'm testing it now in NM dungeons only 3 levels up from me, just to see where it's at and it's fun AF!!
I'm level 61, it clears enemies out solid and survivability is legit!
I will pop off landslide if trample didn't clear out the pack
And you're the first UA-camr in their build vid that says you won't consume spirit with this build that actually means it, spirit is no issue with this build if it's set up like it is in the video!!
Good chit!!!!
My other difference in my build was I have a nice axe that has aftershock on it, I couldn't roll that off cause the stats are too good on it
So for now I don't have Edgemasters anywhere in my build
I'm gonna eventually change that up
Im gonna look for a good enough ring to put Edgemasters on and give up loop of the umbral
Great build. I'm 56 lvl, don't have all of the aspects like u in video but i do 8-20k dmg.
Great build that u make without TR and crone. Tnx so much
So, how to get trample slide to work with a controller? since we can pick a distant spot to charge, we end up hitting the first mob, and that just ruins the entire slide.
great improvement on the guide , i like it alot , everyone should put the stats u need on the slots *thumbs up*
cool build which comes close to what i was running while leveling. Could also see a world where you run tornado with unique helmet and ring for more procs.
if you play witht the ring i would advise playing a werewolf heavy build instead and then u can add the perma roar, that could be pretty good
@@quelquun8052 ye thats what i was doing :D i used trampleslide to proc earthern might but in bigger packs you can just spam that and shred. Was actually the most fun build i came up with but fell off. So maybe someone with a brain can do something with it haha
@@quelquun8052what is the permaroar? Is it an aspect?
This video is right on time. Thanks bro
No problem 👍
nice build. i was wondering how to tweak my trampslide build. gave me some good pointers. sub bro
Glad I could help
W build my dude. I find poison creeper to hit way harder with the landslides than trample, if you switch the natural balance aspect to your amulet, it makes storm strike reset poison creeper more consistently
Ughhh, I've been waiting for this lol
Watched your other video put this build together and noticed the difference with me on Xbox thank you for pointing that out in this video gg great build though
Insatiable Fury just dropped for me today. Excited to add it to my build!
Nice!
Great build! Thank you 😊
@carthh I've been lurking in your vids and I wanted to see if you've tested the werebear poison aspect? But more specifically, if you use the wereWolf helmet to convert storm to werewolf, would the lightning procs while trampling be tagged as werewolf? If it works, then it would poison monsters which procs envenom. The point is to get more reliable poison and you could spec out of poison creeper. Would love to hear back on whether it works.
Nice guide! Fun times gaming with you in WildStar. I really don't like the RNG of this build, would be nice if they had an update to smooth it out
love this build and only Changed the weapon: use the Butcher's cleaver. That make the build even better.
Nice addition!
just got this last night and was wondering if this would work. Great to hear!
What does that weapon add to the build ?
this build is so god damn good. im only level 68 and im using Cron's staff but its incredible how tanky and how much damage it does. seeing everything die to trample is also a great feeling
I was using the toxic shredder werewolf build and then tried this and there's no comparison. Trampleslide is so much more powerful. I'm just melting enemies in WT4 now. The difference is pretty amazing
Oh yessss I been loving this build
On a controller, I rotate to a specific angle before I trample. So I don't get stuck and fly true the mobs.
Hitbox needs work. But still: we learn, we turn.
Do you accomplish this with just diamonds in the armor? No bulwark aspect, right?
@@brandonjackson2275 yes diamonds in armor pieces and I have a decent roll of barrier gen in my off hand, get 2.4 mill Crit hits to vulnerable enemies, I’m still looking for good jewelry with barrier gen rolls, dmg scaling seems crazy with this so not sure it’s intended and could get needed but I will enjoy it while it lasts….extra ranks to bulwark supposedly don’t affect the blast damage so I don’t run that on my chest piece but I think you can get barrier gen on that as well
@@brandonjackson2275 but you are correct, no bulwark aspects just the 40x Crit to cc enemies and the 45x earth dmg after storm cast, I think I also run the 20x based on primary resource since we are not casting a spender

great vid as always. between this build and the Shred endgame build, which is more viable for t70+ NM dungeon?
I'd say this one will be able to push higher as and the shred one will be better for speed farming
question on why not take provocation? If werebear is your true form would it not proc overpower more? Just curious.
Elias back from the tree of whispers with a new build!
Love your stuff bro keep it up :)
Thanks, will do!
Nice build, since I am getting sick of pulverize, I might try this, as I think I have all the aspects...
One question though, are you sure that passives like heightened senses work, as with insatiable fury and vasils prayer you don't really shift out of werebear even when casting landslide...
You will shift out when you use storm strike since it requires human form, and you're pretty much casting storm strike 90% of the time
@@carthh_ duh, thanks for clarifying, o recently switched away from storm strike and totally forgot.
Great video! helped me a lot, I was tired of the spray build. One question: Using the staff "GREAT STAFF OF THE CRONE" can negatively affect the build? I already play with the other two unique items(helm and chest).
Heyo, thanks for this. I just had a 23% lucky chance Frostburn drop. Do you think that would jump the Terramotes in to the stratosphere?
It's tough to use unique gloves because gloves have so many offensive stats. But definitely sounds like an interesting idea!
Trample with a Controller : use your right stick to mark a distant target to take full advantage of the skill. This should be tied to a button hold to keep charging instead!
On the last part are you suggesting there be a button to hold or are you saying if you hold the right stick you’ll go further?
@@McPI3MAN I would like it to be simply holding the button to charge in the direction I'm facing, not the stick.
@@IkatteiruPanda thank you so much for the clarification yea I just wish it was a hold for max distance or something
It's strong but even with staff of the crone you'll have large gaps of no proc resets. Combined with the knockback even if you aim properly can make it annoying. Really great in small dungeons where it doesn't matter but gets clunckly at time. Fun but moved on to other builds without resource or reset problems.
i can see that being the case without even trying it, what have you found that works better?
I feel like if you manage to get the staff of the crone you should just go full auto attack wolf build. and if you get the unique storm wolf helm throw some tornado in there if you want. I wish I could find that staff haha.
crone staff is a 2H tho so it doesn't attack that fast... beastial rage only gives like 20% which isn't that much at all... unless you roll maybe a really good basic attack 50% AS i'm not sure if it would be fast enough to keep you sustained? i have all the uniques (my crone staff is only like 680 natural power level tho) but not sure what i should really be committing to bc nothing really feels right

hows this compared to pulverize build?
Thx for video but i hate druid i want play pulverize but this Vasily isnt dropped Im tired
Hello. How did you make Symbiotic work for Poison Creeper?... I must have missed something.
I am using pack leader for poison creeper
If you're keeping Earthen Bulwark generally on cooldown, how are you not dying to frozen / fear elites? I switched my build over and shredded a frozen key cuz I just couldn't break CC long enough to reset CDs. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
It would be amazing to see a version of this build that takes advantage of the new subterranean aspect for the druid! Almost done with my final paragon point for this build and it is insanely fun!
IMO, this is what you should do:
ASPECTS for vasily's and insatiable
Amulet: Trampled Earth
Gloves, Boots: Ballistic, Symbiotic
Legs: Disobedience
Ring, Ring, 1H, Offhand: Aftershock, Retaliation, Subterranean, Natural Balance
Maximize the CDR on amulet and offhand. You probably want a 1H mace for the Overpower.
I just set this up pretty much to the letter, except I'm gonna try umbral over retaliation
Feels good.
Landslide only needs to be on the bar if you want to generate terra motes. If you don't care about them then you can drop it
One trick I noticed on the procing of nature's fury. I swapped out a ring and put in the werebear skills are now earth skills and werewolf skills are now storm skills which I know seems redundant with Vasilly's prayer but damn if I don't proc the reset more - I am thinking it double stacks??
This is a great build so thanks for putting it out there. Will you update the build for the upcoming season?
Yes when we see more patch notes I'll be doing updates
Much faster and you deal more damage.
lmao this was theorycrafted since alpha
@@bryannguyen6836 damnn had no idea went in blind 😂
Will using the crone staff version stop you from utilizing the "human form" parts of this build? The ones that proc when you go human form?
Correct yes
Yeah, they have to fix the console trample issue. Easy, hold the button until you want it to stop.
Is viable to do a build similar to this but also using pulverize and the aspects for it? And putting points into lightening storm/landslide?
Sure definitely can
hi just want to confirm but i was told that you need to have landslide on your skill bar for the terramotes to proc yes?
Correct yes
So Carthh, after nature fury buff, do you think this build will be better with the proc ? Or Crone still better ?
It's hard to say without testing either of them. I came up with some improvements to the build before the changes and now that it got buffed I'd like to revisit the build at some point and do some testing
@@carthh_ okay waiting for your next video then. Btw, im using Crone now, its good but i feel that im lacking dmg
I asked this in the non-unique build, but i'll put it here too.. With such a focus on landslide, could you weave the Subterranean aspect into this without losing something to important?
this seems to be the go to build for season 1
Can someone help me with something? Why do my cooldowns go down really quickly when using attack and not hitting enemies?
Nature's fury doesn't need you to hit enemies with basic in order to trigger the effect
I used your build and its awesome but after lvl70 do you think stay on it or try to go for stormwolf ? thanks
I think if you want to push really farm storm wolf is the way to go
Would this work with Crone and Claw, instead of Storm Strike?
Yeah that would work
You can play it on a controller but you have to walk closer until it targets a different monster. Definitely more playable on mouse and keyboard though
Best build for Hardcore Druid so far.
Is the fortify generatoin from Vasily's Helmet actually substantive?
It's not huge but it's a nice bonus with safeguard
Trying to factor in activating all the passives (thinking of Resonance here) and squeezing out the most damage, what's your go-to skill rotation when coming up on a mob?
Honestly it's pretty much just trample then storm strike until you get trample back. Throwing in creeper and petrify when you need crowd control
@@carthh_ OK, I was thinking in terms of getting the most out of the extra CC Damage from Creeper, Petrify, and any interactions with Resonance. @@carthh_ thanks alot man appreciate it
hello, any idea why i cant get any fortify pls?
I like this build but run Debilitating Roar, after a certain point is there a reason to just drop it all together?
Debilitating roar is a solid addition for damage reduction, I just didn't feel like it quite fit in and synergized as well with the rest of my build, but you can certainly include it.
So I’m curious have you tried trampleslide vs Uber Lilith? Because have haven’t seen a single person online say they’ve even attempted it
I have not, doesn't seem very enjoyable
Does aspect at your main weapon works again? Iv heard it was disabled.
Yup they re enabled it
I have the unique helm but not the unique chestplate. should I still use the helm? or is it not worth just having one without the other?
Between the two, you can use the helm without the chest piece, but not the opposite so you're good, slap that helmet on!
Personally I like the movement speed from ghostwalker and not getting stuck in monsters, but those sound like good options!
Also, dunno if you've tested it. This build is amazing in pvp. I get wrecked by some barbs, but that's only because barbs are busted right now. Anything else I come out on top.
I am curious, how do you get two points in the snake spirit boon? I only have one
You have to unlock all the spirit boons then bond with the snake at his altar
Carthh, did you know if its a new change, or its always been there, that landslide has to be on your bar, to get terramotes? So trampleslide without having landslide on your bar, doesn't generate them? I just noticed that today.
Yeah unfortunately that's part of the drawbacks to the build
@@carthh_ Thanks for the response, and keep up the good work bud.
Please keep showing upgrades of this build. I think is amazing :)
Would this build still work if I only have the helm? still trying to get the chest.
Yup! The helm is the better of the two as well
so if aspect of trample earth causes trample to be an earth skill.. won't it eat up all earth resonance? im guessing resonance is just for manual casts?
Resonance also still gives 6% damage
Terramote-Crits doing only "40%" of the damage of a normal crit. So you crit more often but with less damage. Correct or am i wrong?
Terramotes are a crit damage multiplier
Do you use an aspect spot to also bump this up, or just diamonds in the armor? If you do use an aspect, which one for Bulwark, as there's two? Thx!
@@brandonjackson2275 No aspects to bump the bulwarks damage. But I am using the one that makes it last 6 secs longer. If you read that skills tooltip, it mentions barrier generation increases its damage.

How do you think this build is still actual for season 1 pushing through?
It will be good early on before builds that use uniques
A-Tier build for solo, but annoying as hell on a team, where the Druid is pushing all the enemies way…
Awesome content as always!
@@carthh_I’m so glad I found this comment. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to try the combo or this build.
Do you think the life roll on pants/rings is worth it when it does not increase with paragon %life?
For pushing higher end nightmare dungeons I think so, but if you're not pushing the hardest nightmare dungeons it's not needed
Do you have any build using Zenith ring?
Zenith seems interesting but felt quite underwhelming to me giving up an entire ring slot for it, maybe if it was on boots it could be better
Personally I am avoiding the bulwark explosions since the damage is bugged on it but I know a lot of people are using it
@@carthh_ just out of curiosity, what is the bug with earthen bulwark explosions? i'm using this+bulwark and I know it does really high damage but dont know how it is bugged personally
also I dont think wizards will change the interaction of re-immobilizing an enemy and terramotes, since it is working as intended, you can only immobilize an enemy if they are not immobilized to begin with, refreshing duration is not applying a new status and that is intended behaviour imho.
If u aren't hitting 20+million those dungeons just won't ever be completed by 99% of the player base, most classes have high damage builds, and if they nerf the ones who can actually complete the tier100, they are removing the ability to clear it.
doesnt seem like some of the glyphs have the bonus set up, is that intended?
Make sure you level your glyphs to 15 for a bigger radius
wind shear for the clear speed and consistency of resetting from afar. or use the werewolf staff to trigger storm strike with claw for infinite reset. Someone test it uber end game
Windshear's just a damn good asset of having Physical damage range attack especially if you get those pesky bottle necks in a dungeon where it's just a hair too risky to trample in so you could at least pull a few mobs' attention to peck away before going nuts with the usual
