This helps a lot. I aim for endgame storm Build but due to the lack of unique, I have to go Pulverize bear first. But while searching for Storm unique, the investment in Pulverize bear getting deeper and deeper, both equipment and paragon board to the point that missing just one unique for bear. Your build will help me revert back to storm and still survive T4.
Since the focus is on leveling and just hitting 50+, I would be reluctant to imprint weapons. At those levels your attack power is your single largest factor and you will constantly be finding weapons that are an upgrade. Other items you can get a lot more miles out of.
I don't see enough people talking about how you can tap lightning storm instead of holding the channel (this appears to ignore attack speed allowing you to spam the skill as long as you have spirit). This still works with enhanced lightning storm allowing you to choose the size of your lightning storm. This allows you to better make use of the Earthen Might key passive, dancing bolts, and mighty storm combo. For smaller bosses you can channel to two lightning strikes then just tap the skill for great single target damage. Fishing for earthen might procs allows Lightning Storm to do respectable single target damage. If bosses summon adds your dancing bold procs can shotgun off of adds and do some strong burst. edit: forgot to mention that often in clearing endgame its better to not capture the max lightning storm stacks and instead capture 2-3 bolts that better target a smaller area. This allows you to better smash tight packs or elites and their minions as the bolts can often overlap and cause dancing bolts to shred groups.
Thanks a lot, this buid is great! i had problem with cathedral curator and with this build i killed him in first run. Only one problem is mana, but i will work on this later.
Love that this build got buffed since a few of the skills used such as earthspike, lightning storm, cataclysm got changes today so it makes better i reckon, how much i am unsure but getting extra damage on cataclysm and earthspike is nice and with storm getting an extra 2 seconds for its duration plus a higher chance to immobilise i feel makes it better 100%.
I'm still struggling to find a Druid build that truly clicks. I really like the Pulverize / Trample build for the satisfying feedback of the Bear animations and how potent it is, but I hate the poor single target damage and overly dependence on Grizzly Rage. In fact, I think a lot of the issues with the Druid right now is how a lot of builds are built around it, and I don't like this inconsistency of damage, where you nuke a lot of things, then feels like a wet noodle until the cooldown refreshes. I really liked your Shred build and I feel it's the most comfortable for me, but this one seems pretty interesting too, even though it might not be on par with other more "meta" builds. I hope that when Blizzard inevitably nerfs Grizzly Rage they shift the power to other aspects of the Druid so his damage feels more consistent.
I feel like, i am the only druid playing lightning 🙂 this US the First vid i See about it.👍 Maybe you can make a Video about Lucky Hit it self? To understand it and how to Stack the chance up. IT seem s Important for the 7 Players doing lightning 🌻
i do too ! hope to get Staff Crone for the claw+lightning strike combo. Right now i run with lightning strike until i get the staff. It seems very rare tho.
Have you tried "Hunter's Zenith" build ? With regularly shifting Bear-Wolf ? Do you have any good tips, for that? I run Claw, Pulverize, Howl, Trample and Lacerate. With Hurricane as it gives +2 to all Shapeshifting skills. I have +3 to Quickshift on items, so that makes it x30% dmg after changing.
Do you recommend this build for levels 50-70? I want a build that I can use to farm uniques for an end game storm wolf build but I don’t really want to use pulverize
I just wish Blizzard buff other ultimates for Druid... There is no way to play endgame without Grizzly Rage coz its just so good... Like I would double duration of cataclysm and give it unstoppable while it up (since Lightning storm is channeled it would be so nice) and it would still be worse than grizzly but at least playable. But knowing Blizzard we will see just nerfs... Earthen Might will get hit extremely hard, mark my words
Would like to see any kind of viable storm/lightning druid without any shapeshifting. Shapeshifting as a class option is fine. I don't care for it and can't seem to get a storm druid to flow without shapeshifting having to be involved, which is a non interest in my druid gameplay. Most items for druid seem to be for shapeshifting 😐, which is fine I suppose, I want a pure Storm build that works.
If we're feeling a little too squishy with this build, what changes would you make to adjust for that? Would you exchange a skill for something like cyclone armor? Would you move some passives around or adjust any aspects?
I was having the same problem, and struggling with spirit. I switched out trample with earthen bulwark and took enhanced and preserving. I also swapped out preserving for innate on blood howl. I still feel a lot squishier than my trample and nado builds but it’s better than before. I feel like positioning is key with this build. That and interweaving earth spike with lighting storm on small mobs and single targets is key. I save my big storms for the big mobs and bosses. Also, I don’t have the best rolls on my gear and my aspects are from the codex which probably make a difference too. Hope that helps a little.
Did you miss the first 25 secs of the video "this isn't a late game build this is more for some one who just hit level 50" are the first words put his mouth
I really need to stop following these other click bait videos compared to yours. For the late game version of this placing Territorial made such a huge difference to me playing where the others recommended Fulminate instead. The damage for this build is already cracked, your linch-pin is always survival! Seems true of every class in the game so far. I mixed and matched pieces between yours others and am so happy with the outcome. I did remove the 5 points reaching towards the increased attack speed and added them to the other "increase werewolf skill damage" magic nodes and the one other to "increase storm skill." Took out the accelerating aspect for the retaliation aspect (core skills deal more damage while fortified.) In the skill tree, i moved some points around to get 3 points into "Circle of Life" which the healing is amazing on. An added bonus to that trait is it doesn't even need to hit an enemy for the heal to go off, saved me in a pinch against poison. Thanks for the best Druid videos!!!!

For me the best part of blood howl aspect is that its healing is also applied to NPCs, so for those 'keep NPCs alive' events become extremely easy

When fighting elites or bosses, instead of holding RMB, spam it when you reached the size of storm wanted (3 for mono, more for aoe clear)

Does lightning eat attack speed?
We’re is the link to the end game version?
I might have missed it but at the start of the video you said you had a late gsme version of this build. I cant seem to find it.

@@BrainBarfTV thanks I'll try these!
i would love to see a d4 build planer of a support druid from you
Freaking awesome! Just two stupid questions. Where is the beginning of this build? And where are the check notes on this build? Thanks! 😂😂😂
When you click on the build in the description there is a notes tab at the top
How high Nightmare tier dungeons can you push with your endgame Lightning Storm build?
The endgame version with tempest roar and dire wolf can push quite high 80+
A midgame build showcase at level 100 ?
This build is too squishy
This build does not hold up. I just hit 50 wt3 with this build and I’m at a wall… its more an early game build
Nice build, though your "Late game with unique" build is called "Carthh Late Game Lightning Storm" but has tornado in the bar
Thanks, fixed!
This guy’s level 100, fighting level 85 mobs. Misleading representation of damage.

id like to see a 'stat priorities' for gear in your builds
It's in the notes section of the build

You should add that edgemaster has been disabled for days now, so currently its useless.
