As someone who got their start in MMOs via RuneScape during computer free time at school almost two decades ago I am cautiously optimistic about Brighter Shores.
I started MMOing with EQ in 1999 and I think Corepunk looks more interesting than Brighter Shores. I don't know why they chose that 8bit retro layered look for the terrain. There's not enough nostalgia in the world to make me like that.
Day 1 Ashe will have major guilds that not only inherently have the numbers, but, the knowledge of taking on the nodes/dungeons/etc. I think it's really special when day 1 is shared across the entire population. (of course, i'm talking from a player perspective and not the advantages of ironing out bugs and development stuff).

Even in games with private tests, people that care about min maxing the game will easily aquire the information beforehand from leaks, or by directly volunteering for the tests. So yeah, your oppinion is meaningless, and only shows how naive you are.
They made early game way less time consuming in Corepunk and also added Mounts in the form of a couple of Bikes u can buy once u get to lvl 8 so moving around is also faster. Glad ure going to try the game this month i thought u had forgotten about it since ur last video. Cheers o/
Ants domesticating other bugs is a cool mechanic in Empire of the Ants because they do this in real life, although the only example of this is an ant-domesticated aphid (which the ants feed and then they eat the sugary liquids that the aphids create).
Brighter Shores is going to hopefully have people saying 'Gowers have done it again' Played the closed beta and enjoyed it. Won't be for everyone though, if you don't like to grind different professions.

That being said, very excited for this game, I love PoE, but I always fizzle out end-game because the netcode/speed is too hectic and I get frustrated when I die and stop progressing without even knowing why/how.

I was looking forward to PoE2 when it was first announced. I could never get into PoE because none of the starting characters lined up to a role I identified with. I was hoping PoE2 would allow at least basic character customization, at the very least, both genders for each starting class. But it's looking like that's not the case so I probably won't play it either. It's a shame, this is one glaring non-starter they could have used the sequel to fix and then just... didn't.

Force! If you suffer from vr motion sickness, keep pushing your boundaries, even if you can only handle 10 min at a time. You'll quickly gain tolerance. Less than 2 hours you'll be able to handle full motion

Glad I waited on reviews, granted, Bioware has had nothing but misses for its past couple releases. I'm just glad there are other game devs up there that have picked up the RPG standard and carried it on. I am pretty sad though, Dragon Age Origins remains one of my favorite RPGs ever to this day, RIP.
Stalker 2 is my fav game of the year hope live to the expectations (please god of gaming & devs dont screw this one) also i’m looking forward for poe2, was too late to jump in poe1 so skipped that one. Also i hope poe2 isn’t insanely complex like the first one
I loved PoE, but sometimes it's just too much, and the game goes too crazy, still, they are bloody doing beautiful things! Inbuilt dodge and such! More skills that is! Well, when it releases I'm there, with my wallet to support them, if anyone deserves it, it's them (unless they put in DEI agenda's, I have become allergic to it, and I can't be near it)
your parents must also be very disapointed, since they gave birth to an adult that can not differetiate between a game that is meant to be played, and a public development test that is multiple years away from release.

it is precisely the other way around. The game doesn't put any progression pressure on you. You log in when you want and play as much as you want. Besides, acutally the game is evolving and a lot has changed, and this is just the beginning.

I was looking forward to PoE2 when it was first announced. I could never get into PoE because none of the starting characters lined up to a role I identified with. I was hoping PoE2 would allow at least basic character customization, at the very least, both genders for each starting class.
