fantastic. The only detailer on here to actually show the cutting capability of Uno protect based on pad type as well. Every other detailer is showing Uno protect working on a white colored vehicle which shows not a damn thing. Good work Apex
So easy to use and after the 4 hour mark according to Rupes , you can top it with whatever wax/sealant/hybrid spray you want. Can also be used as a 2nd step polish+wax with a fine pad. Fantastic product.
I used Uno Protect on my car two weeks ago. I was a bit pressed on time. But it still came out nice. Topped the next day after a rewash with some Soft 99 Fuso Coat. Love the results!! P.S. nice C3!!!!
That review come just in time, I have a few cars and trucks to make this automn and I have to polish them before applying sealant and ceramic. I will try it for the one I will put sealant.
Liked the 10 wash test at the end as i was wondering should i wash after polishing to remove the product. This will give me two options now to wipe it off and to wash the car after to make sure it is absolutely product free finish.
I ordered this and had it come In today. I don’t expect this protection to last months and months. Most all in ones the paint correction/protection fall in the category of good but not great. But for mobile detailing this will allow me to be quicker while leaving my client the look they want and protection in half the time. It’s a win win. Looking forward to using this
This is some rwally nicestuff, your C3 looked amazing, the test panel looked as amazing. I have to say from just the aesthetics this one of the best finishes I have ever seen, it had decent protection and ease of use. I would put this on my vehicle instead of a coating if I lived in a climate where I had the luxury of working on my truck outside year round and could top off the Uno Protect every two to three months.
I found the best pads for this was the RUPES medium yellow wool pad and for a finer finish the RUPES yellow finishing pad. I've been waiting for this one the video that is. The new DA Corse & DA Fine are great products also.
Looking at all that shine makes me realize winter is coming. Now I am thinking maybe it’s better to wait until spring to do an enhancement to my paint? NY winters aren’t too friendly
Time to try the new Rupes D-A foam pads (blue, yellow, white)?? Also time to try the new Rupes D-A gel fine yellow cap and the D-A gel coarse blue cap???
This is the first one step i ever tried. I did not have good luck with it and i pitched it in the garbage. At the time i my normal routine was Sonax Cutmax then Sonax Fineline finish. I then switched to 3D #500 Ȉ. Despite my experience with Rupes uno protect i have purchased 3D one using a 50/50 urofiber pad and with outstanding results. Infact 3D One with the urofiber pad really suprised me that its as good as it is. I will say i did not use a urofiber pad when trying rupes uno protect. I used foam pads which were extremely difficult to clean afterwards
Are there any fillers in this product like a glaze that hides imperfections or is it truly removing the defects permanently? Also how about 3D Speed? Any fillers in that one, and can you compare the two products?
Is Uno Protect a good choice to hand polish small water spots and swirls? Yes, I know machine polishing is better. This is for a tiny area on delicate paint. Can it be followed up with C2v3?
Which would be better go to, this or 3done? I use 3done alot but as of recent id like to try something else. Also since this applies a coating would it not be best to use if planning on adding a ceramic?
Now for the comparison with igl f4. I just started f4 on my giulia qv as a quick one step as it’s going to be living outside for a while, using a uro pad and I get 2 passes and pad starts to dry out and it dusts up surrounding panels - fortunately a distilled water spritz cleans it up easy, but I’m curious now given the uno can be worked much longer and cleaner
I got great results with the Turtle Wax ceramic AIO which was then a prefect base for a SiO2 spray sealant on top. How would this polymer sealant be under an SiO2? I’m guessing the longevity would be reduced.
I Have a question I just bought the ryobi 18v polisher I've never buffed before and I bought the uno also my truck is really nice shape just wanted to go over it to help the gloss It come with three pads foam but what pad you think would be best for me ty in advance
Hi Brian, Can you tell me in your expert opinion, Does this product compare to 3D Speed, or does this product exceed it? Also, in your opinion, does the Extreme LVR 403 exceed this product pertaining to general use on everyday vehicle? Thank You Sir. Mike
Question for you. I have a 67 Camaro that was painted back in 2007, with base/clear. The car has seen little daylight and just goes to shows. Over time the paint and clear has shrunk, and you can see some sand scratches in places and there are lots of fine scratches. Will UNO protect with the right pad take those marks out, or would I need to cut and buff? The scratches are mainly noticeable under a lot of lighting. Thanks.
Can i ask a quick question, i have just done my first ever 1 step polish on a friends car after buying a kit online using scholl s20 1 step compound. I would love to switch to this as it also has the protection it, saving time waxing/sealing afterwards. If i use this on a medium pad (blue shinemate pad) will it still provide great gloss and finish rather than using a finishing pad (red shinemate pad) which will remove less defects?
Great, since it has protection built in already can it be used to prep a paint for ceramic coating. Or would you recommend something else, just curious if the “protection” part would create a bonding issue for ceramic coating. vehicle has fine here and there swirl marks, overall not in a bad shape at all. Thank you
It has protection in it so you really shouldn't plan on putting ceramic over it until it wears off in three months. Use 3D One instead since it has no protection.
@@apexdetail85 Hi Brian, Can you tell me in your expert opinion, Does this product compare to 3D Speed, or does this product exceed it? Thank You Sir. Mike
Hey Brian. Good stuff as usual. Whats your take between this, 3D one and Xtreme Solutions LVR403 as a onestep? Which would you prefer if given just one. Thanks
Brian - have you had any experience with Rupes Uno Pure? Looking for a polish to use on my black Tesla that won’t leave a haze. This soft clear coat is so finicky. Still on the hunt for a good pad / liquid combo for minor swirls.
Man that car is sick! Love it when you have one of your vets in your videos!
The best channel on UA-cam. The channel, and the support group are my classroom. Beautiful car.
The C3 looks fantastic Brian! I'm sure its been a very gratifying project! She's great!
I love that Le Mans vette. Fantastic job for the restoration/modification of the barn find.

so you could compound, an then finish with this?

How long did the protection last?
@@98JamesNixon The Soft 99 lasted a good 6 - 7 months. Most of it was a Canadian winter, with salt covered roads..
Great video... the C3 is really growing on me. Love it!
Definitely an interesting car. Would love to drive it. You sold me on the product.
its a pink color now just put some on my car last night I love this stuff
That review come just in time, I have a few cars and trucks to make this automn and I have to polish them before applying sealant and ceramic. I will try it for the one I will put sealant.
Tried it last Saturday and was surprised at the easy wipe off. It was a pleasure to work with, for sure. Need more time with it, though.
Finally someone review Rupes Uno protect 🙌.. Great review 👍
The vette looks amazing. I followed the series and the transformation is incredible. The gloss after the Uno looked amazing !
Love the tests 👍👌💪
So early the video just had today’s date! 😂 Always happy to tune in.

Amazing Brian! Thank you for reviewing this! As you know, I was really looking forward to seeing how this would work with the uro-fiber pads aswell!
Pretty damn shiny from one pass. Not bad!

i use rupes protect after cutting with heavy compound like meguiars m105. i dont need 3 step
I like the looks of this stuff 😀
You mentioned it would last 60 days in your area and up to 90 What do you do to the vehicle after that timeline

Looks like it's a decent product! Your C3 looks badass man!
I was going to buy the lvr404 for the two white cars in the household, but this has a go get it, some food for thought Brian....
Trust me. 404/403 are great. Really consider it too
Thank you. What’s a good topper after curing? Can you use a sealant then wax?
Looks like im spending money again haha. The vette is looking soo good! It has come a long way from the first episode you introduced it!

hey Brian love that stuff just wondering where you get your detailing chairs that you sit on to roll around the cars
So glad I bought a bottle.
Can you remove swirl marks from a car with rupes uno?
The Rag Company is having good results with this and then Beadmaker as the final wipe, even if after the 4-hour or longer cure time.
A great vid...a greater car. Thanks Brian!

You plan to seal or ceramic coat after the Uno?
Yeah the Vette is looking ultra slick.

@Apex Detail can i also use this on gelcoat on boats
Looks like a good product for a beginner to use
Indeed, Rupes UNO Protect is outsanding all-in-one, I think it does't have any filler on it. What do you thing my dear Apex Detail?
Does this product have UV blockers as well
Great video. Stupid question, what’s the benefit of a pneumatic polisher over a normal electric one?
The Corvette looks sweet.
I Love using a few drops of the Rupes Uno mixed with the 3D One. Works absolutely amazing as a combination. Try it
What should be used for the newly painted panels??
Brian: how would you compare this to angel wax aenigma all-in-one please ?
Crossed my mind also
Rupes is better

Brian just wanna make sure i heard correctly, I can use this over a graphene coatingwith light swirls n a rupes white pad?
Will Uno Protect remove overspray from a body shop? I have it on all panels and windows.
Can you use this by hand? I want to do this before it gets too cold.
I got some and it's fluoro pink did they change there sorcery or something lol?
Can you put a topper protection on top of this?
Greetings Brian. Which sealant is compatible to maintain and/or extend UNO'S sealant's life?
Do you have recommendations on which pad should I use one this product?

SInce the protection lasts 45-60 days, does it mean it is ok to use Uno every so often?
If i use this monthly is safe ? With White pad

Unrelated question Brian, does warm water aid to stripping or breaking down protections faster, as apposed to using cold water?
Yes...makes the water more acidic the warmer it gets.

How it's works without polisher machine?

Toyota.

Sonax perfect finish
How does it rate with HD speed ?
Better cut rate
You say you use it before coatings.
The Rupes Uno protect have silicon in it?
Isn’t it better to use Uno Pure Ultra finish instead before coatings?
No....I said I use it to refresh coatings.
