    Used Uno Advanced this morning. Washed, clayed, iron, tar etc then one step with the Uno Advanced. Car done in under 5 hours start to finish. Nice and glossy and very slick. I’ll top it with something next wash. Good stuff.

    I will probably use it on a Mercedes GLC 220 tomorrow. The car has very few defects and almost no swirls at all. As usual your review is the most complete, John. I m watching it just to have a complete guide how to use it. In my arsenal from months but I used only Rupes Uno Protect as an AIO

    • @ForensicDetailing

      yer literally just work it and leave on the panel for about 15mins to cure. It has a thin oily feel to the abrasive you will love the buff and I promise the gloss on the car is impressive.

      @@ForensicDetailing sure. I agree. Just used AIO on this car cause It did not Need any correction (strange to Say, no swirls, no rids, like already corrected 😳). Never used the Scholl 🙈 but very satisfied by H9.02! Still have to try the Kochchemie medium and fine but i have them in my arsenal. Very pleased recently by Menzerna Cut Force Pro that did not expect to cut and finish so well (like Gyeon Compund + Redefined), but I don t know if you agree about It.

    One rule missing on the bottle: Don't let it freeze!
    Ticks all the boxes, this product. If it says it's safe for single-stage body paint, then I could use this with excellent results on my Nova. Just ordered some of this now. Looks very promising. One litre will last for years.

    Been saying it since June, glad you got round to trying it out mate. It’s a really well produced product as are IMHO all RUPES products. As mentioned it does correct with wool (give it a whirl). In the comparison, the yellow pad Uno Protect has corrected the haze left from the DA Coarse, hence better reading. Prep to the same level using white pads will see Advanced performance increased even further. great vid as always mate. 👍🏻

    Hi! A detailer used this product on my car. Few weeks later, developed some scratches on my bonnet after using a waterless wash. Should I use this on just a section of the bonnet or polish back the whole bonnet? Additionally, this product is said to last 12mths. Will there be any impact if I were to use this polish before the 12mths is up?

    • @ForensicDetailing
      @ForensicDetailing  2 роки тому

      Just wash it down. And machine on it with rupes advanced. Leave 15 mins and buff. Could just whizz it over entire bonnet so it's consistent. Remember it's finish polish so might need heavier compound to dig the scratches out first then finish with advanced.

      I take Uno Protect over Beadmaker any day of the week. Both different products and uses. For my shop I do a lot of level 1 enhancement details for Uno Protect is the best go to product to get a nice simple cut ( change to Rupes yellow wool for better cut) and super slick finish. I would suggest Gtechniq C2V3 over beadmaker so amazing slickness and durability. Beadmaker is slick but doesn't last more than few weeks at best.
      Cheers.

    It’s “not recommended for body shops” because the clear isn’t cured fully after refinishing and baking process. It would be like applying a wax or sealer on fresh paint. A big No No
    Also because of sealing/ceramic characteristics of the product you can’t wash fully out of pad used and most likely will have to discard pad each time you use it.
