you should react to Green Lantern the Animated series
Once again recommending "My Adventures With Superman" it's short so it's a solid choice for next show that only takes away a couple months from the other great recommendations.
I love how much the OG team has grown up. Artemis going from not even wanting to attend school in S1 to becoming a professor 🔥

7:13: So on the off chance no one's told you this already: Young Justice was co-created by a man named Greg Weisman, who was an executive producer on the first season of "Star Wars: Rebels".
I would strongly recommend binging the DCAMU (DC Animated Movie Universe) after Young Justice. It’s along the same lines, similar characters and story beats.

That is correct. Season 1 Episode 19: Misplaced, Artemis is singing nursery rhymes in the same way to the kids there
Also... Green Lantern Animated Series is SUPER underrated. You should definitely watch it!

It's so unfortunate that it was canceled all because of the 2011 dumpster fire of a movie. For those who don't know yes we can thank the movie for taking an awesome series down with it so how it goes is when the movie came out it had a huge toy line and when Green Lantern the Animated Series was out it did not have a toy line or really any sort of merchandise to sell they offered merchandising to stores but none of the stores wanted any merchandising because they already had enough Green Lantern stuff they didn't see the difference between the series and the movie so because they were unable to get any toys or merch of any kind going they were unable to provide funding for season 2 but for what it was it was a great show Razer was the best character hands down.

YJ co-showrunner Greg Wiseman also worked on the first season of Star Wars Rebels so it’s possible he invented the word “Karabast.” He’s also the co-creator of Gargoyles, which was an excellent show that Chris May or may not have been referencing in the intro. For post YJ shows I’d recommend the Green Lantern animated series or Doom Patrol
The DC Animated Movie Universe is a really good journey, just remember to start with Flashpoint.
No start with earlier ones like Superman Doomsday 🤣 🤣.
Omg. I forgot that the nursery rhyme mash up was a throwback to season one when Artemis was singing to the kids when the adults were separated from the kids.
I’m a Patreon member and will comment there too, but you have to watch the Animated DC movies, all the Batman’s, justice leagues, Superman’s, teen titans, suicide squad. They’re literally the best DC movies out.

Yes that's Steve Blum, Weisman worked on the first season of Rebels before leaving to work on YJ again after it was revived and put in a little nod to it.
So, you might not have noticed but there are a number of hints in the show that Bart (Impulse) and Eduardo are a couple.
1. Virgil calls himself a 7th wheel, meaning he's with 3 couples, Garfield/Perdita, Jaime/Traci, and Bart/Eduardo.
2. Bart brings only Eduardo candy.
3. When Bart shows up at the start and hugs everyone, if you slow it down, he leans in, presses his cheek against Eduardo's and closes his eyes. Not quite a kiss, but much more intimate than the others.
Too bad DC is being weird about Bart being confirmed as gay (or MLM) and they had to do hints like this while they've been more open to LGBTQ content this and next season.
@@GamerSlyRatchet1 The only option that makes sense is that they're not really in a relationship yet (in this episode) but they like each other and are spending time together, flirting, small demonstrations of care and stuff.

I highly recommend the Green Lantern animated series, it’s really fucking good. Hell, it’s probably the last good thing Bruce Timm was involved in… also minor spoilers one of the characters created for GLTAS will appear in the next season of Young Justice. So that is also an incentive to watch it since his development/journey is one of the best things about the show.
Mentioned it before but say it again if you want something fun but not as adult, check out Batman: Brave and the Bold. It’s fun, has tons of characters that you’ve already met as well as new ones and pays homage to decades of Batman and general DC adventures. In later seasons it occasionally also gets surprisingly dark. Also Chris could finally get to see Gorilla Grodd, Detective Chimp also shows up as well as Malá and The Brain.
The Anti Life equation is the one thing Darkseid wants, as it would allow him to control all beings
That last part is a little unnecessary. But The Brave And The Bold would be a great watch.
Hey now, Justice League: Gods and Monsters was pretty good.
Stargirl. It was on CW, but is not Arrowverse. A great quality show.

Early Arrowverse is really good. At least consider Arrow and the first 3 seasons of Flash.
s1 and s2 of Flash are great/good, but s3 is meh, never liked Savitar as a villain. like, Flash has more enemies than only speedsters...
Arrow has an awesome start and it's great a lot of times, but meh or awful a lot of times too. s4 and s6 are almost unbearable. s2, s5 and s8 are the greatests imo.
to be honest, i love The CW shows, but i think they're only for hardcore DC fans. if you don't already like the characters you'll have to endure many boring/annoying episodes. basically, they're shows for teens, filled with unnecesary and badly written soap opera drama, with a lot of filler and pacing issues. they're not for The Normies, AoS is much more consistently well-written and well-paced and - except for Rana - they barely liked it in the first seasons, so i doubt they would like The CW shows.

I had been wondering if they knew about the secret message in the episode titles from S3 & S4! I was literally going to send a Sunday Rundown comment this week mentioning it....I was waiting until later in the season.
I think that gar's girlfriend is the same princess that Green Arrow saved in Emerald Knights from Malcolm Merlin and Count Vertigo, and proposed to Black Canary in front of.
More importantly, she's the princess Wally saved by delivering a heart transplant in season 1 of this show.
Green lantern animated series is amazing and it connects to this series is amazing. Doom Patrol is another great dc series
As far as other DC content, I’ve recently started watching Gotham for the first time, and I actually really enjoy it. I didn’t think I would. 😅 But I like the vibe, and the characters and story is really good so far. Even if it’s not an official reaction, I would recommend it. ❤

It would definitely be ideal for them to watch GL The Animated Series before they get to Young Justice season 4. There’s an episode in season 4 that directly follows up on from that show that’ll kinda spoil a lot if they do decide to watch GL, and it’s gonna be a bit confusing if they don’t already have the context. I know it’s not how it’s gonna happen, but it would be the ideal way of doing it.

I don't know if you guys have noticed but the number 16 comes up in every Young Justice episode.
Some of the references are pretty straightforward, such as much of the main team being 16 years old when they're first introduced in the show's first season. There are many more references, such as time stamps, ages, etc.
That because it was originally set on earth 16. I think DC comics has changed the earth at this point. I think earth 16 is now an homage earth to Marvel comics.

2:13 “No CW shows” Suraj… I mostly agree, but as a fellow Superman fan, I implore you to watch “Superman & Lois”! It’s far higher-quality than any other show the CW has made in that it’s actually a very well-made, well-told, cinematic TV show! It’s what made me fall in love with Supes again and made me realize how badass Lois Lane is. If you want to convince the other Normies to like Superman the way you and I do, “Superman & Lois” and “My Adventures With Superman” are easily the best portrayals of the character in decades
Suraj - Green Lantern TAS is a great choice to replace YJ. It might be worth trying to find a way to watch it concurrently with or before YJ season 4 as there’s an episode that sort of continues on from where GL left off. Food for thought, but either way you’ll love it. My Adventures with Superman also would be a cool pick as it’s brand new and season two will be out sometime this year.
X-Men 97!
Yeah i know the cw stuff gets bad rep but there are two exceptions that are standalone and are awesome-superman and lois and stargirl.

Yes but IIRC they couldn't say it or something in the actual show
Not officially confirmed but that seems to be the implication. Plus the creators have confirmed that Eduardo is gay and has a boyfriend but they "can't say who it is at the moment" (maybe some copywrite reason) so it's pretty much certain.
It's a great compromise for all of us who shipped Bart with Jaime in season 2 now that Jaime has a girlfriend.
Watch the DCAMU movies or Green Lantern: the animated series, i gurantee you will love GL and it's mythos if you watch this.
