I started watching the Husel trial because I wanted to see Jose Baez doing his thing. By the time the verdict was read, there was only ONE star of this trial, and it was Diane Menashe. Not sure why the interviewer needed to make things political at the end, but oh well!
He turned everything into a story about him. Then felt the need to inject his personal politics into the interview. Would have liked to hear more from Diane!
It's the way she digs so deeply into the details, because that's where the dirt and the truth reside. I noticed that she was working hard throughout the entire trial. It seemed she was always writing and bent over those voluminous pages of records. She clarified the important facts in such a clear and lucid way for all of us. I hope she continues to help those who desperately need a good lawyer. After seeing her defend Matheau Moore, who also was an innocent man accused of murdering and then staging a suicide of his wife, I went straight to the Dr. William Husel trial and listened all the way through. In both trials I was so relieved and happy with the jurors who were able to cut through to the truth.
