      @@danielmanko4230 This rig looks great, much easier than the Inurig. I just want to throw one thing out there though, and I hope I don't offend anyone.
      The word "Manko" in Japanese is slang for p*ssy. You might want to reconsider the name since your rig is a version or an "imitation with a twist" of a japanese rig. :D

    The Manko rig will become a standard rig in bass fishing just like the wacky worm or Texas rig. It will be used by the tournament pros. I hope the name sticks and you get the credit for coming up with this. Love this rig. No tubes or glue. I modified it by nose hooking the top hook. 98% of the my fish are caught on the tail hook. I have been killing fish on this rig.

    I see this rig with a bobber on it, the waves would Auto wiggle the worm.
    Also maybe a nice swim bait with a heavy tail.
    Could you add a weight to the head a little, to present it on the bottom somehow? Fishing opens in about a month can't wait to try my new DC baitcast with this rig.

    You might search for Ganged Hooks l moved from UK to Australia many years ago and this method was never used in UK but very popular there. Mainly for rigging Pilchards but also small 3 or 4 ganged hooks for
    Whitbait but has application for soft Plastics. You can revese the Hooks one up one down one ot two on thein the bait the other to hook or hookd up to hook the fish. Tight Lines !

    For the sliding eye on the nedrig: You could put a splitring on.

  • @charlesgrahammacleodstuart510
    @charlesgrahammacleodstuart510 2 роки тому

    Looks good Dan, but those two hooks look like they will snag each other, especially with so much “spare line”.
    I substituted the hard tube for soft tube, and it did not change the action of the worm. Worked exceptionally well on a Senko.
    My “alteration, was to exchange the split ring, for a size 14 treble and was a bonus, for tail nippers.

    I would need to figure out how to make this weedless everywhere I fish is lilly pads and alot of under water grass and structure. If I have open hooks it'll just waste equipment.

    4 dislikes? Probably from people hoping to mass produce and sell premade inurig worms haha. Your rig is more time efficient, more durable, and doesnt require any extra materials than the basic worm n hook. Way to simplify/upgrade the latest setup so soon!🤘

  • @ricksonora6656
    @ricksonora6656 2 роки тому

    This forms a C whereas the inurig forms an S. A C may be better for thick, stiff worms or for short worms.
    You could restore the S action just by putting the bottom hook in the middle. If having a tail hook is important, make the middle and bottom hooks fixed while the top hook slides.
    These variations are useful because you want greater action during summer and subtler action in winter.
    You could also make it snagless by burying the hook points in the worm.

      Maybe the use of planned variants will become the Sonora Method. LOL

    Is there a big lag or dead spot during the hookset from the top hook? I'd have to figure out how to do a weedless version due to hydrilla and heavy wood cover. But I like this idea

    • @danielmanko4230
      @danielmanko4230  2 роки тому

      You could do weedless by leaving the hook point inside the worm, the lag is minimal, hook up ratio is very high.

    Great idea and video. Could you possibly add a 3rd hook in the middle, maybe held in place with bobber stops, to get 2 bends in the worm?

    • @disillusioned070
      @disillusioned070 2 роки тому

      Good idea. I was actually thinking that if you put just one plastic sleeve in the middle of the body you would get the two bends and still have the ease of a quick change. Of course you would still have to pre-make them at home and clip and re-tie your leader on the water, but one plastic tube through the body vs three sounds easier and quicker. You probably would not even have to glue them in place.

    How difficult Is it to set the hook if the fish bites the top hook?

    • @danielmanko4230
      @danielmanko4230  2 роки тому

      Most every time the fish will get hooked twice because the top hook will slide down to the bottom hook.

      Aren’t the hooks affixed with knots on the “3-hooker” so you don’t get the same action?

    Not to be a downer, but really this is more of a variation of the ken rig linked below. Still a good concept to add a hook to the top of it though!
