Right, Americans aren't capable of doing these type tasks and one state knows it already and prevents self service gas stations. Laws should say all product exchanges in stores, gas stations, EV recharging as a payment card has to be used, purchase of tickets etc. should all be required to go thru properly trained cashiers that do whatever activities necessary, This will also reduce people on welfare due to the large number of people necessary and the great increase in employment will add lots of taxes to the governments while reducing welfare costs.

Walmart is not the only place. 3 places i worked at during a “team meeting” would remind employees to never admit any wrong doing., or fault. They would even tell us to never say “sorry” “my apologies” or anything along those lines when a customer is angry from being wronged. They do not want any liability for anything, even if they did do something wrong. They couldn’t care less. When there is a lawsuit, they will just put the blame on somebody else. Its interesting that they withheld the video that would have proved her innocence, because this is something that government prosecutors do, and they get away with it. They withhold
exculpatory evidence routinely, so that they can railroad people through the legal system and they do this because they have prosecutorial immunity. That needs to change. They can and have ruined many people’s lives with no repercussions, even after the person was found to be innocent. Sounds to me like Walmart is reading from the same playbook.

About 10 yrs ago, while shopping in grocery section of Walmart, I noticed a man seemed to be on every aisle I went down .. I didnt become alarmed until I left the grocery section to go to shampoo etc area.. when he showed up, across the store, going down each aisle I was on, I was alarmed ...I began looking for an employee and found 2 standing together.. I explained that I was being followed by some man and needed someone to walk me to my car ..right at that moment, the guy walked into view so I said "there he is!" and pointed him out ..they just stood there staring at me, not saying a word ...I said "um hello..that man is following me" and they said "he works here"
I questioned this since he had no badge or anything identifying as an employee and why would he be all creepy and follow me? Again, they just stood there, with mouths slightly opened, and never responded to my questions.
It wasnt until later that I found out the man was some sort of loss prevention employee... I still feel like he was a creepy guy.
I will do almost anything not to shop at Walmart. I have panick attacks and Walmart seems to trigger them ...Im pretty sure I get them because of the horrid lighting, the big space but crowed aisles, the atmosphere is uninviting and negative. I was accused of stealing at Walmart when I was 15. My brother just got his first pay check and wanted to get me something nice. I picked a beautiful white dress. He also insisted on stockings and shoes as well. They took us into the back room, dumped out my purse on the floor and then took our items out of the bags and threw them on the floor as well. When I said, “Aw my pretty little dress 😢” the guy said, “huh? This shitty little dress?” Then stepped on it and told me I could pick it up and that he’d wait. Obviously he didn’t find anything. Even after practically making my brother strip down! Then told us to leave and not come back. They sent me a letter to pay $300 or they press criminal charges. I was young and scared so I begged my grandma to help me pay it. Walmart is and will always be trash 🗑
In my mind, my money is hers now. I’m glad it’s going to good use. Even if it’s 13 years later

The manager asked which register I was on I told her. She reprinted my receipt. All items accounted for. Then they took my belongings returned them and told me I was trespassing. And if I shop at Walmart again I will be arrested. I have it all recorded and was with my children and grandchild. All because they don't have bags big enough for cases of baby wipes, a baby gate, pampers and a few other things I picked up for my grandson. The police officer took her badge off refused to give me her name. I had to call the police request assistance for false imprisonment. I was going to let it go. Hell no I moving forward with this. I can tell you from first hand knowledge, that several corporations that get a constant beating, don't necessarily deserve it. The laws that govern what a corporation is and isn't liable for, directly reflect how they have to operate.
If you owned a business I would hope that it be your goal to always try and look out for the customer. Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES from hell❗️
      *What is the Gospel?*
The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
      Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
      Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Meanwhile my cousin’s 2 year old little cousin did something similar at Walmart and she didn’t know about it till they got home, so she called Walmart up and the guy on the phone told her not to return the item, even if it’s just to pay for it because according to store policy they’d have to mugshot her son and display it on the bulletin board for everyone to see that he’s a “thief”, file a police report against him and possibly press formal charges, and ban him from the store for life... There used to be a scale on the bag area, but WALMART took them out, so that is also part of the problem. . When they have only ONE person to watch 14 check out registers, mistakes happen. The register will BEEP when it scans an item. That's why Walmart did not produce a video of the transaction, because it would have shown that all the items scanned, correct prices or not. Unfortunately I heard of this happening to an old lady who had been trying to buy something and the cashier failed to scan one item that was given to her, yet the old woman was the one who was arrested and charged. Abuse of power indeed.

And don't forget about the 73 year old lady in Aurora CO. Because walmart mishandled her the cops broke her arm and dislocated her shoulder and cuffed her behind her back in that condition FOR SIX HOURS and denied her treatment and laughed about it where she could hear them. It's called torture. ua-cam.com/video/AEEhmgmAMns/v-deo.html

I've noticed that over here in the UK our Walmart stores "Asda" overcharge for lots of items that you wouldn't notice if you weren't scanning the items yourself. They maker millions every year on these as well. This is straight up stealing from their customers so I have no sympathy for them when actual shoplifters steal from them.

A "not guilty" verdict doesn't need to be supported by any evidence. The burden of proof is on the accuser, not the accused.
A not guilty verdict is what happens when a guilty verdict is not supported by the evidence.
If Walmart accused her of shoplifting then failed to prove she shop lifted, she is entitled to compensation for the false criminal charges.

Good for her. I used to manage an organization that would allow people to work off court sentences via community service. About half of them were Walmart shoplifters - one lady charged with less than $5 of makeup left in her cart, and once a bag of candy the cashier dropped and put in the bag without scanning. One young man was arrested for buying vanilla because he was too young to buy alcohol - it's in the baking section. Every one of them offered to pay for the items, but instead Walmart said no. I haven't shopped in Walmart since 1986 due to their predatory practices and will never step foot in another one .

They also promote their worst employees to store managers...who then treat both customers and employees horribly.
I know several people (a couple are family members) who have worked for Walmart, and every one of them had store managers who were power-tripping, abusive asshats who had no clue how to do their job.
