Bar prep can be daunting, exhausting, and mentally overwhelming, I know- but remember to keep your eyes on the prize as you make scheduled and systematic studying your daily routine! Hi, Atty! Just wanna share that I am currently at lost in my preparation for the bar and chanced upon this video of yours. Thank you, Atty, for reminding me that if I don't feel studying, I should study anyway. I have been stuck in a subject for a week now and really confused as to how I go on with the rest of the many subjects left to study. Hi Atty. Tina! Not bar review related comment, but you are one of the persons who inspired me to be a lawywer. I will be 2nd year college student this next school year, taking up Business administration. Like you, I also want to engage in enviromental and energy law because I am an environment activist. I want to make sure that natural resources in the Philippines are justly and lawfully utilized. Or maybe engage in indigenous group's rights. I was inspired by the article I read wherein the indigenous group in the Amazon rainforest won a lawsuit against huge corporations who mined their ancestral territory for oil drilling.

Thank you for the advice and helpful insights. I was browsing on how to prepare a study schedule and I'm glad I came across your channel. I did not even realized that this is a lengthy video because I am so focused on what you are saying.
I think I'll follow your study sched and do it by week. That way my mind will not be all over the place and it will make me focus on one topic at a time. Btw, did you take any brain supplement like memory plus gold or the like during your bar exam review? Is it safe to take such supplement?
Hello! Happy to help! 🙂 Nope, I didn't take any brain supplements, or even vitamins hahaha. But I found out after the bar that I had batchmates who took ADD medicines so that they could focus! A doctor friend of mine said that those meds really give you laser focus 🤯

@@braveheartesq7674 Both Mem Aid (Red Notes) and Red Book are good, I highly recommend either one. But I'm more comfortable recommending Red Notes cause they're more complete than Red Book :) Yes, Attention Deficit Disorder meds are by prescription only 😄 Best of luck! Kaya!!

Hi, Atty. I would like to know on how did you spend your summer vacation when you were still in lawschool. Did you study during summer break for the next semester or not? Is it advisable to review or study materials in preparation for the next semester during summer break? 😊😀
Hi Jez! Nope, I would study before the official start of the semester only if the professor assigned any advance readings (which was a rare occurrence). Usually, profs would give the outline and recommended textbook only on the first day of class, so there really wouldn't be anything much to study in advance. Nope, I wouldn't recommend studying in advance. Enjoy your breaks!! Don't study!! Because once you get back to the law school grind, all you'll be doing is studying 😂

Hi Trisha! Thank you! If you're trying to finish your coverage for the day, then YES, by all means speed read. All law students have done this, hahaha! But if you have time to spare, don't do it. Take time to comprehend and understand :))

During my first take review I was procastrinating heavily. Mobile Legends and Social media apps were very distracting. Days passed without a single hour of review. I was speed reading the Civil Code the night before the bar, while listening to an audio lecture.

Doesn't matter. If legible and it doesn't take you longer to write than print, sure!
How about the Bar Chairman's cases? Madalas ba sila lumabas sa Bar?
It's up to you if you would like to set aside time for this, but personally I wouldn't recommend it because I can think of sooo many other more important things to study than that
