- Hi everyone! In this video, I lay out what it's like having worked as a corporate lawyer in a large law firm. In the interest of time, I wasn't able to go TOO in-depth about the topic, but I think I scratched the surface by giving you guys an idea of what exactly being a corporate lawyer means, what it entails, the pros, the cons, the lifestyle, the misconceptions, and some tips if you'd like to go into corporate law practice in the future as well! It is stated in Article 1932 that "If the agent dies, his heirs must notify the principal thereof, and in the meantime adopt such measures as the circumstances may demand in the interest of the latter."
However, what if the agent doesn’t have an heir and the principal has no means to know that his agent passed away? Also, this agent passed away due to a fortuitous event and was not declared dead, making him a missing man. What will the course of action be of the government to protect the principal if such a case happens?

Hi Atty! I'm set to take BSBA Customs Administration in a week's time. It was kind of a last minute decision, since it has board exams and I wanted a fall back in case I changed my mind about law school. I just want to know if it will somewhat be advantageous if ever I decided to be a corporate lawyer in the future, or to engage in other areas of law practice? Only limited schools offer this program, and the subscriptions are devastatingly low compared to other programs under business ad. I would really want to know if this program could give me a good, if not better, shot at law school, as I'm starting to like BSCA for once. I'm a new fan of yours now, and I really hope my question gets noticed. Love from Bulacan💕

Bwahahaha! I like this idea but I have to set aside time in my jampacked schedule to do this! One thing I can generally tell you- Suits is an accurate snapshot of law firm life, except that there's a LOT less hostility, drama, and manipulation in real-life practice 😄

Hi! I could do a video in this in the future but the answer to this is quite straightforward: Generally, big firms look at your school and your grades. Smaller and medium-sized firms aren't as strict about your school, so while they do consider it, grades and extracurriculars are more important to them than the school from which you came. :)
can u tell me your experience with the qc court employee. was she being unprofessional? its a pet peeve of mine when government employees (or even non govt employees who interact with the public) DO NOT BEHAVE PROFESSIONALLY.

If you want to become a CPA-lawyer, then you should probably shift from Management to Accountancy :)

This happens all the time. You just have to work to get them the best result possible and have faith in the law, judge and jury to do the right thing.

Heart, it doesn't sound stupid at all! :) Yes, if you go to a smaller law firm (not departmentalized), you'll likely handle both corporate and criminal cases, so you'll be both a criminal and corporate lawyer :)
