- Hi everyone! I was gone ALL SUMMER, but it was all worth it! Because I passed the bar exam! Now I'm sharing all the things I wish I knew before the bar exam and tips for passing the bar exam on your first try! This video is for all the future lawyers out there, especially 3L students. Thank you for this! I've started Bar Prep early and I'm starting to panic lol. I did all this research beforehand, but...now it's the real deal and I'm a little nervous. I just started but I feel like I'm not really learning anything, I think because I've been taking a passive stance toward it in the way you described (trying to keep up with the Barbri meter!) I definitely need to focus more on learning the law vs. completing their assignments. My law school is REALLY pushing the "finishing 100% of the course or you'll fail!"

Thank you so much for this. I have had the critical pass cards in the amazon cart for months now (taking the bar in July) but the Kaplan cards are really what I think would be beneficial for me.
Yes! Definitely give the Kaplan cards a chance. Just having those quick checks is so much easier to digest and test yourself compared to reading those long critical pass cards.
3L here... its July 24 I graduate in Dec 24 and take the bar Feb 25. Ayeeeeee.

Talking about ignoring all the distractions during the Bar exam. What about someone having a heart attack during the exam? I wonder if that's just an urban legend or did that really happen. I've heard there was an MD doctor taking the exam, and he stopped and went to the aid of the Bar examinee that was having the heart attack. The doctor did not get extra time, on the end, to take the exam, but he ended up passing anyway.

Seriously tho I've been doing so much bar exam and law school research/prep and im in the 4th hardest state for the BE. Been interning at various law firms and court houses in hopes of gaining some insight too.
