You can use a router and a power bank. You don’t need a cable for local access!
love all information. i have a question. for example if i am using 4 phones and i don't want live streaming but i just want to record video. so where it will save? on ipad of device it self? and can i edit later with multi cam? and the app we use do we need to pay extra every month? Thank you.
Hi, the recorded video will save on the iPad or iCloud depending on your settings. You can access this video and edit it later with whatever software you like. The Roland AeroCaster Switcher and AeroCaster LIVE apps are free to use and don't require a subscription.

This was really a very informative video. However, I have a question: If I want to appear on direct live on TikTok or UA-cam (music videos and I have all gear for that), can I do that via this device or do I have to switch to another app (obs ect)? I don't understand it very well when I want to stream live …but if it works easily I will definitely buy it . Please let me know how and if I can stream to the platforms…I really would appreciate your help.😉🤝
Hi, you can stream directly to your platform from the AeroCaster Live app and manage the production from the app itself. You will not need to use OBS Studio. Hi, the AeroCaster app automatically saves recorded video on the iPad.

Hi, this mixer is designed to be used with the app. Using it without the app will limit the settings and options you will have available to you.

Hi, unless the smartphones which are functioning as cameras are on their own Wi-Fi router that is not shared with the iPad's Wi-Fi router, you'll need to use the tethered phones within a range of 3 to 5 meters of the iPad and AeroCaster, having an unobstructed line of sight.
it has to be a relatively recent ipad :( How will I know mine will work (Apple iPad 10.2 (2021) 256GB Wi-Fi) ? Is there a list of supported ios devices ?
