@@PinchesLowriders thanks for the question and support of the channel. I'm unfamiliar with the equipment but as long as you have a way for your browser / StreamYard to see them as webcams you shouldnt have a problem. I use the hollyland wireless transmitter with a capture card and it works fine.

@@kirkrnugent Hello Kirk, can you explain the next steps? I'm having trouble getting the sounds to play when I go live. I have an Elgato deck and when I launch the sounds, I can only hear them myself. I have installed Banana. Thank you.
@@fabfab9926 So the generic steps are that you create a virtual mic in Banana and then select that mic in StreamYard. Since I dont have a Windows machine I would have to refer you to this tutorial - ua-cam.com/video/WMVDWL9WpxY/v-deo.htmlsi=mdE084UK3PJyRDtt Let me know if this helps

@@kirkrnugent I’ve been wanting to use the digital mic software to plumb audio into the stream and couldn’t get it to work. I’ll check the rest of the videos later for a walk through. I tried the demo and had a horrible reverb.
Ok I love this video. I am know can stream deck and roadcaster work together? Or is Stream deck necessary with roadcaster? I have a windows pc built from the ground.
All depends on what you’re doing but yes I use the Rodecaster Pro and the StreamDeck together all the time. Was there something specific you wanted to do with both?
@@kirkrnugent I use a Rodecaster Pro (first gen) so I can load sound effects and play them with ease, however the camera switching has always been a tough nut to crack without purchasing very expensive gear. Use StreamDecks are starting to appear on the market and are, therefore, budget friendly now.
Thanks for the post. I'm thinking of getting a stream deck and wondering what model you're using in this post? Thinking of starting with Elgoto MK2 , would this cam switch method work with this method?
I believe this method will work with any model StreamDeck but the one I use is the XL a.co/d/3xLgPif. Thanks for the comment and support of the channel.
@@SearchingForTone technically yes but depending on your workflow and if you have more than two cameras it can get confusing but yes hotkey switch is a great alternative, thanks for sharing!
@@kirkrnugent thanks I’m still using the free version anyway so I don’t think I can use multiple cameras but I set it up eventually. I can see the value in both , I also setup a dual split, and not sure if I can get away with 3 but might try 3 some day. For guitar videos one straight on, another closeup of guitar and maybe 3rd GoPro attached to guitar. But that’s way down the line
@@kirkrnugent I won’t lol I don’t do social media because I make too much money in tech and my time is limited, but in the future I plan to retire early (1-3 years) at that point I may get into social media. I know by that time there might be better stuff out but I enjoy watching this kind of stuff
I've been having and issue with playing sound efx using Rodecaster Pro and Stream Deck. The sounds can be heard fully... Then they can barely be heard... I can't hear the sounds at all. I'm using a MacBook Air and running streamyard through Chrome. It worked fine a couple of months ago so I'm confused.
You’ll need to turn off echo cancellation for them to be. Heard fully. But turning off echo cancellation means you’ll need to wear headphones as well ti avoid creating an audio loop. For my consult sessions and training this is the issue almost 100% of the time. I hope it solves it for you too.
Thanks for the instruction, it did not work. It in fact sounds the same with echo cancellation on or off. Could it be the USB to usb-c adapters that I'm using. I use it with the Elgato FaceCam as well and I haven't had any issues with the camera. And it's not an issue with the normal functionality of the audio only the sound pads.
You are Correct, thanks for that... totally forgot to mention Stream Deck and Loopback aren't free. However the Loopback equivalent for Windows (Voicemeter Banana) is free.
