  • This video will show the procedure for changing the oil pan gasket on a DCT equipped 335is. This video was filmed while making a separate video covering the removal of my OEM turbos in preparation for upgrading to RB Turbo 19t. The front subframe is already removed when I begin this video but to see the process of getting to that point you can watch my turbo removal video or check out the many thorough subframe removal videos available on YT.
Current Mod List. I will update this list for each of my video uploads so that it accurately reflects the modifications done to the car at the time of the upload. Obviously the newest upload on my channel will be the most up to date mod list.

So your transmission just has a hole underneath?

Apparently that’s how the DCT is.

Hey, this is a totally unrelated question but I just bought an e92 335is and am looking to run apex arc8 19 inch, do you have any input on what size wheels/tires fit well with out rubbing or any bs, thank you!

In the description for all my videos is my mods list. I have my current ARC 8/tire set up listed. I run a 10mm spacer in the rear and no spacer up front. My coilovers are set pretty stiff and the rear wheel gap is slightly lower than stock. The only rub I get is when the suspension encounters a serious dip in the road and even then the rubbing is brief and minimal.

@@midwestbmw1292 o wow, when should i except to replace an oil pan gasket? i have. a 2012 335is 51k, it has had no maintenance except for oil changes. I just had a misfire yesterday on cylinder one. I ordered Bosh plugs and elder coils

@@chriso6556 the oil pan, valve cover and oil filter housing gaskets are going to leak soon if they’re not already. All three leak on mine and will be getting changed. The oil pan is by far the most labor intensive.
As far as the misfire I’m sure it’s plug or coil related. Your car likely has index 11 injectors or possibly even index 12 (the best). My car is a 2012 but has index 11, and I’m content with keeping them. Most people with older N54 cars swap to index 12 injectors to help remedy misfires.
