God bless y'all who lease because at my stage in life all I have is my 7yr old pomeranian and I've downsized my life. 2 daughter's are 25 & 26, no grandchildren but I love the road....
About Time you do a video 😂😂😂 Good information brother now I’m thinking about Lease instead, very good video 💯💯💯💯 if you could do a month recap on pay and regular truck bills that would be great 👍🏾👍🏾 #slimegang✅✅✅✅
Yeah finally got around to it😂. I got you though. Might be a sec because I’m training right now so numbers are a little off, but I’ll definitely see what I can do for you. 💯💯
Preciate that. It will be tough some days but it will most definitely be worth it. Just have a plan with trucking and don’t let anything or anyone distract you from your goals. Trust me there will be lots of temptation and opinions. Stay safe Driver
How much driving experience do you need to be a lease purchase? I have a CDL but, been working electrical work to be home. Haven't driven for for a while. Is it a walk away lease or are you locked in? Just asking cause I have 30k saved. But, I'm wanting to my own truck and authority one day. Just thinking of leasing for a little while to save more funds to start my own authority, then hire a driver so I can retire. Your thoughts on that?
Can you please find out does prime take folks out of Florida Miami's Preferably please found out I really appreciate cuz I'm definitely getting my CDL n the future. New subbie please keep us posted Thank you 😊💯
Hey so as far a I know they are still holding off on new FL students coming in because of the market right now. I don’t know if it’s different if you already have a cdl because I heard of a tnt student from FL, but he already came in with a cdl. My sister lives in Florida too and she had to go to our sister company Wilson logistics and then is planning to come to prime later on. She just got hers 2 weeks ago. They might have changed it back since last month since loads are picking up for the summer. I would call a recruiter to verify. Hope this helps😁
First and second pay as a lease with no off days. $1400 $246 😢 Low key wanna quit. But i was told the 3rd one is a big pay check. Something is not adding up. I got a family to take of and this last check killed me. Luckily, my VA disability saved me.
Hit me in my email. Vagamademe@gmail.com and maybe we can chop it up to help you out. You will have some down weeks. And I had a check like that during my first month as well but it shouldn’t be a constant thing. Hit me up and I can give you some tips
Con about company is I have only been home 3 times a year when do go you only have 6 days max . I been out most of year home times not all that . Now if lease you can go home if when need if you have money to cover .
Benefits are offered to W2 (company) employees. As a 1099 (business owner) you are responsible for the expenses to pay for health coverage and retirement.
Prime takes 52% to 62% of what they are paid from load revenue. Sales (broker) and the company, while the lease driver pays all expenses. This is why Prime doesn't let the lease drivers see the rate con.
Not yet but it’s coming. I actually touched on that subject on @slimepack_392 channel and her video will be dropping soon. I will do myself as well though going in more detail
I ask the same question of those promoting company lease; "Can you post your pretax net and total miles" and as of now, nobody wants to answer. I wonder why?
Nothing as far as that goes. I came to prime with $200 to my name. During TNT I saved enough to get my main supplies like my gps, atlas, fridge , and few other things. When I signed my contract I knew I needed to immediately start my efund. I did $250 a week to go over there and I stayed out almost 2 months straight. Then when I started going home I would try and do only 3-4 days at a time, that way I could still get a load to cover truck payments. Now I do 1/3 of fixed cost per week so that after 3 weeks out, if I wanted to I can afford to take a week off. Doing these things this ran up ⬆️ my efund so I let the TRUCK cover break down cost or anything else random. Hope this helped
Preciate the sub. As a solo I usually average a range of about 2200 to 3000 miles. Every now and the a little over 3000. But I will as a lease you are not chasing miles, your chasing revenue. You want most pay for least amount of miles. As company yes you absolutely want as much miles as possible. Hope this helped 😁💯
Imma pay myself a flat salary ( I feel $1,100 is fair when unless it’s just a bad week in that case company gotta get paid before you do, but regardless 1100 a week flat salary, rest goes to the company account, what’s your opinion in that matter?
Yeah man I think that’s good. Just make sure you set a business account to keep everything separate and even if it’s only a little going to the business, it will grow fast as long as you don’t touch it. For me personally I fluctuate. Sometimes I’ll pay my business the majority for awhile until I save a certain number only because I’m trying to own a truck one day. Then I’ll focus back on my personal and let that build up. You should be successful though with your plan. Hope I could help😁
With prime no you can’t have any animals while training. I know they have kennels and pet daycare at the terminal, but I don’t know how long they are able to stay while your training. My sister though is with our sister company Wilson logistics and her trainer had a dog. I think prime just doesn’t do it for liability reasons, like if student is allergic or if pet might be a distraction for them. Hope this helped
