I leased with Prime from 2018-2020 and completed my lease. I left thinking I would I take my bonus and buy my own truck in the heat of the plandemic. Let me tell you that is not as easy as you would think. I’m coming back to Prime to actually buy a truck. Prime doesn’t just give you a truck, they give you a business in a box. A time tested formula for trucking that works. You have a support group unlike any other trucking company out here. They’re not perfect but they’re damn near close to have survived in this cut throat industry since 1967. I left and ran for several companies that were incompetent and lost my behind. Take baby steps in the endeavor of ownership. I would buy a truck from Pedigree and still run under Prime’s numbers for a couple of years. If the economy grows in the next four years which it should with Trump in office, the money you make put away for when the next lunatic in office that destroys the economy again. Save for those lean years. I would honestly if I were you and I am not, just order another Freightliner from Prime and stay there, because Prime has a proven network of support there to assist you. Again it’s not perfect, but it’s tried and true.
Thank you i guess that prime Inc isn’t bad place to begin with when considering a lease purchase program. I’ve conducted extensive research, and I found one video that highlighted your positivity. I appreciate that. Wishing you the best, brother.
Does he really think the lease completion bonus is anything but his own money being given back to him? I can't speak for anyone else, but I would much rather have a lower weekly payment throughout the lease than getting my own money handed back to me.
So the total cost for the truck is 180-190k when the term is complete. I don’t know about you but I refuse to pay that much for something I’m not completely happy with. But to each their own. Piece and blessings✌🏾
@ it’s about how much money you make at Prime while paying for it just like regular lease , then you make even more when it’s paid off .. I did lease purchase at Prime and paid mine off in 2022. I’m going on to the third year running without a truck payment , my fixed costs are just $100 a week for insurance and permits ..
I can’t remember the name of it but they offer it through a third party company since you’re a 1099 operator. I only opted for the dental so can’t really say how the health or vision is
@VaGaMadeMe OK. It's cool. Thank you for the reply. I'm assuming/hoping it's the same as what they have on the company driver side? That is Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
MISS MUTHer trucker JUST WENT BACK TO PRIME. SHE DOing good- enough for me to consider prime- until they put the prosecuting attorney on teh windsheild with them ai cameras. at least you know prime honors the lease agreement- that would be a big worry as you usually find out how a company is when you do a return or have an issue. God might have just wanted you to know that your order was screwed up.. never said to leave. now did he? plus- hopefully you saved for the extras like disc brakes. to get your truck totally tricked out.... maybe that was why it was delayed?
Na man I think everything is on there. Just remember perspective is everything, you choose what’s positive and what’s not. And lastly stick up for yourself when it’s needed, but it’s a professional way to do so. Congratulations and best wishes 💯✌🏾
Everything happens for a reason bro going after your dreams is never easy there will obstacles and trials but stay focus and never give up❤🇧🇧

Best option was to get one of the brand new trucks already on the yard and forget about the upgrades…
