I really enjoy this type of video that you do so well. I have been on Carnivore for two weeks (having been on Keto for about 8 months). Over all, I have lost 98 lbs.
See how many times the kids just randomly are walking by or watching me while making this video. 😆 That's what you get when I am just randomly filming all week!
Dont mind that at all. I have 4 boys and 2 big dogs. Haha. You would probably never get even a short video of my life without at least one or two of them somewhere in it. 🤣

Laura, for everything that I admire about you, nothing made happier than watching you having your sweet daughter making the Alfredo sauce. Good job Mom! 🤗 And....your haircut is beautiful! Thanks for taking us on your journey. It's always inspiring. 😊
I’m so happy I found your site. Finally someone who actually shows what they cook as a carnivore. I’ve always been like “what do I eat”. Thank you thank you.
I’m one of “those,” a newbie, post menopausal & looking to reduce inflammation & feeling better. I just subscribed to your channel & look forward to hearing about your experiences. Thank you for posting!
Thank you, Laura. Like I mentioned before, I'd been teetering on moving to 2MAD because of my bariatric surgery limits and since I've begun (as of last week), I've dropped 4 lbs and feel like I have even more energy. Thanks for validating my experiences with your own.
Great content Laura! I’ve watched all your videos, and this format is very helpful as you qualify a new groove for your way of eating. I had lost 119lbs ( 2 years ago) with combinations of first keto, then IF, finally transitioning to carnivore/OMAD. After gaining back 20ish this past year I too am adapting a few tweaks to my personal habits, and feel confident I will lose the extra “pandemic pounds”, and redefine my goal weight again. Your work is inspiring. Wishing you, and family continued health and happiness. Thanks for all you do!
I like what I'm seeing regarding the meal plan you have, I'm just about to start the Carnivore lifestyle and I can't wait to see what improvements I make to my health and conditioning. Great to see you have your children learning Jiu Jitsu, it's a skill for life, try not to let them give up when the going gets tuff. My two daughters have trained for a little over 5 years now and they're becoming little weapons. The eldest is a Green Belt, the youngest a Yellow Belt. The eldest regularly submits adult male Blue Belts, so I'm comfortable that our money has been well invested. Keep on keeping on.
It's great your daughters are learning martial arts. So many benefits to it. 🙂I trained 4.5 years to get to black belt in karate and as a female don't feel afraid when walking around alone somewhere.
Thanks Laura. It is so helpful to see what you eat in a week. I will definitely be talking to our butcher about beef cuts for "bacon" - what a great idea.
I am SO, SO, SO happy I found this way of eating! Simply put, life changing! My one challenge is the shift I work. I work nights, and I have worked that shift for over 25 years. I try to keep my schedule as consistent as possible. I find I eat my "lunch" between 1-3am. So I guess it is unintentional fasting. My days off get out of sync, as does my eating. Any advice for shift workers? It's really a topic that is left out because the majority is day time workers. Thank you for such great videos! I feel like I have hit the jackpot because you have done this trial and error and I get all the benefits! You are beautiful and explain everything very well! Many blessings to you and your family!
Laura, you always have such great ideas. Your kids are adorable, and getting your daughter to chop garlic is magic! So nice she likes to help you. Her future partner will thank you! I've never done a regular fast day. I think I will give that a try. And those CARNIVORE SNACKS looked amazing.
Congradulations on your weight loss.I'm doing the keto/carnivore diet. I have 4 eggs/4 bacon in the morning, and steak, pork chops, salad, or fish&scrimp 8 hours later.I live on the Outer Banks NC. Fish ALOT, so eat fish alot. P.S. You have pretty eyes. All the Best.
Thank you for sharing your week with us! I like seeing what you eat during the week. I have stopped fasting since going 100% carnivore on January 1. It seemed like too much for me to do both. I plan to evaluate measurements at the end of March - the scale can be deceiving.
Hi! New to your channel! I have severe RA and I have been doing keto since diagnosed a little over a year ago! I am considering going carnivore now that I am pretty positive that I also have Raynauds. This video gave me a lot of insight thank you!
I have RA as well as MS. My Rheumatologist advises me to stay away from Pork as it is an inflammatory for me. Just wanted to shared 😊. Good luck on your journey!
Enjoy your honesty with the changes in your journey. I’ve been keto and now carnivore is great for me. Your videos have been an inspiration to me. Thank you for the Cinder grill video, I’ve had mine for about three months and use it at least three times a week!
The alfredo sauce I make is similar to what you made. If you see a recipe that calls for white wine, chicken stock or broth is a good replacement for some recipes. It would be especially good with stock made from the wing bones!
Funny, I’ve been doing the same as you basically. I even do the weekly 48 hr fast too. I’m so glad I watched this because it’s reassuring. See you on the optimal side of things.
Good quality beef, allowing the steak to get to room temperature, letting the steak sear properly on each side, using good quality butter and finally allowing the steak to sit for roughly 10 minutes after cooking are the keys for a juicy steak.
I love those parmesan cheese folios! Try putting them in the microwave (leave the divider paper under it) and cook it for about a 1-1.5 minutes until it crisps up. Tear it up into chips and you can use it to scoop up some meat or just eat as a side dish like they were chips. I also eat twice a day and it works for me. Just make sure you are eating enough. I think you need to eat a little more than just dividing what you used to eat into 2 meals. I'm glad you have support at home. I'm alone in a sea of donuts, chips, french fries, and pasta over here. Love your videos!
Brett, as far as carnivore buddies, there are none here either! My fam is supportive in that they don't have a problem with the way I am eating. But I wish they were on board!!
Well done for doing this kind of eating without too much support around you. I'm the same. I'm trying and winning sometimes and falling off the wagon sometimes. Overall I love eating this way and I feel a lot better even if I haven't lost all the weight yet. How are you doing? By the way, I like the sound of those parmesan crisps you're making. I'm going to try that. Thank you for posting this tip.
So, the body needs at least 4500 mg of potassium , for heart elasticity. Along with magnisium, calcium and zinc. And this is just a small example of some of the nutrients the body needs in order to have fully functional organs. Here’s the question, if you’re feeding the body only meat, does that mean the body doesn’t require these nutrients anymore? How does that work?
Some people claim you need less of certain nutrients on a carnivore diet. Some people say nutrient needs do change, but that if you're going to eat carnivore you also need to do "nose to tail" in order to get everything you need. Meaning bone broth, fish with the skin, fish eggs, organs, etc along with drinking mineral water. Admittedly I'm not sure what to believe.
I've been throwing in some longer fasts lately, doing a 72 hour every other weekend. I still do OMAD the rest of the time but it feels like the extended fasting resets my endogenous portion control sensors. I am eating way less in my OMAD meals than I used to. I used to pack away a pound and a half to two pounds but now I top out at one pound. (For reference, I'm not petite. I'm 5'10 and 150 female and 59.)
Great video. I've just moved on to a carnevore diet. I have my first meal just on or after midday. I haven't done the day and a half fast yet but will psych myself up to it and it'll happen.
Hi Laura! I recently transitioned from Keto to Carnivore and I really enjoy your practical, down to earth eating style. Thank you so much for sharing and I look forward to seeing more of your content. :)
Thank you Laura for your video I've been on the carnivore diet for 3 days now. I really like your recipes it's has helped add some new ideals to mine. I look forward to seeing more and it's good to see your beautiful little one in the kitchen reminds me how my mother taught me to cook at a early age to help feed my young brothers and sisters while she worked. I know after cooking at a young age you would think the opposite but I truly love cooking 🙂 thank you again and God bless you for a job well done 🙏🏽🙌👍🙂
Love the new house I wish your butcher could tell us what we’re asking for with the beef bacon. My butcher said he’d slice a brisket but yours seems to be from another part of the animal.
Funny, I just heard you on LowCarb MD while traveling about a week ago but didnt really remember your name cause you said you were on Instagram, which I dont have. Then today I started watching this video and realized...hey...thats the girl who was interviewed by Dr. Trey! Nice to hear and see your journey. And glad your husband is doing well. I will subscribe.
this was so very helpful Laura, thank you. Love the house, and you look amazing! Can I ask, what (if anything) do you drink on fasting days? Tea, coffee, water?? thank you I love these types of videos.
Thank you for this video!! I just started 2 meals also, last year has been a rough year for many And it’s probably going to continue to be tough but we’ve got this down on how to take care of our mental awareness & health, I’m also back in the gym thankfully one gym was able to open as it’s a Pysical Thereapy gym and boy does my body need the therapy! I may have to add in a 48 hour fast after Sunday’s dinner too to help with the weight I gained this past year😭 Keep up the amazing videos! Btw your hair is cute 🥰
Where is your "liver?" Those carnivore snax products are a tad bit pricey for one 5 oz. bag ($29 +). But I truly enjoyed watching you show what you eat in a week. Great video.
I was so happy to see your video. I am an Italian woman and I have a carnivor diet too, but I eat also salads and other vegetables and a small fruit. Usually is chicken, eggs, fish and beaf, but not steak (it's too expensive and I love well cocked meat). I don't eat dairy. Here doesn't exist spice or sauce and snack for carnivor diet. It is very difficult find mayonnaise and ketchup without sugars So those delicious food you eat are impossible in Italy, also cruncy snacks. Anyway I appreciated a lot. Your children are very nice🥰
Less and less inflammation in your face every time I see you! Eyes looking vivid, the way you speak, you can tell by your tone, thought process is even. No peaks and troughs. Speaking of tone, SKIN tone is amazing haha. Thanks for sharing! I’m doing great on carnivore! My only hang up still is just a bit of almond butter still :( which will phase out I just know. Wanting it less and less. Which is good. Plant fats pretty much all omega 6....👎🏼
I can just see that teacher that wigged out on Gordon Ramsey for eating meat finding this channel. As a rancher's daughter, I can't help but laugh thinking about it, lol..
I'm glad that I came across this tonight. I am starting carnivore tomorrow and I keep going back and forth on what to have for food. It is so simple I'm over thinking the heck out of it. I'm very interested to see how a month of thus makes me feel!
@@jesusking7977 it has been great for me. I'm on day 38 and I am down 26 pounds. It was a bit rough for the first week but I was also eating really badly. Lots of sweets and carbs. After you get past the adjustment and the diarrhea goes away it is amazing. My joints feel better, no more constant back pain, my head is clearer and my energy levels are constantly good. I also don't crave sweets anymore and haven't since week 2. Well worthwhile!!!
Ok so TMI, but there's no more gas and everything comes out easy and you don't even need to wipe (I'm not suggesting you don't wipe, but you probably could get away without it) . Plus no odor!!!! Oh and you probably won't be going all that often because no fiber, no bulk so less for your body to dispose of. There's no down side. This was all my personal experience.
IH To add to SR response (HF keto for 6+yrs, now HF carnivore for last 3yrs) And I'm a 6' 225lbs fit guy 'these days' You go (I go) very very little these yrs I've learned and been told it is because my body is using all my nutrients for 'stuff' (energy, healing, maintaining, protecting etc) During my many yrs as a S.A.D. diet.......MAJOR constitutionals (TMI i know) But poop is WASTE nutriets/stuff not needed or used...... These days most is needed and used nutrients A High Fat diet.....moves things along no problem And theres very little And all sinks to the bottom Carbs/sugar FLOATS Protein/fats.......sink and don't (finish the rhythm)
Such a helpful video!! I'm just going to start my carnivore diet after a 3 day fast...I'm on day 2 right now! I have been doing keto, but there are only a few vegetables I can eat without having so much gas and bloating. I'm excited to try this way of eating and see if it helps! What do you do when you want anything sweet? Or do you not crave that anymore?
Enjoying the video, had to smile when you said in Arizona you can grill all year, I cooked a beautiful ribeye out on my Weber it was 29* came out perfect 😁( Indiana, January)
Great 👍 I find that 2 smalls definitely keeps my cortisol lower and less stressed. Which also means I'm not over stuffing or hungry later. So I do like like the 2 meals or 2mad.. at 1 and 4 and then I'm done coupled w some fasting days has really been where I am happiest. And The scale can still be a welcomed friend lol... Love this new vlog series...keepem.. coming loved watching The family cooks together bits ❤
On Friday night I saw your video with Dr. Ken Berry. I decided right then and there that I would begin this carnivore program. I have done really well! It has been very very easy! From Friday evening until this morning (4/16/21) I lost 7.6 lbs. I think that is a really good start and on my way to losing a very large amount of weight. I am pretty much just drinking water all day and a cup of coffee with heavy cream in the morning. I am having two issues though. I have a very pinpoint precise headache on the left side of my head. Not too bad but it is there. Also I am very bound up. That can not be good for an entire week. This is an area that I have no trouble. Any thoughts how to remedy these issues? Thank you so much. I appreciate your very encouraging videos!
I really enjoy this type of video that you do so well. I have been on Carnivore for two weeks (having been on Keto for about 8 months). Over all, I have lost 98 lbs.
Wow congratulations!!!
Good job it's work to lose
Where’s your organ meats? If you want success on a carnivorous diet, check out Dr. Paul Saladino’s book, the carnivore code.
Wow, that’s great!
how much of that did you lose on carnivore?
See how many times the kids just randomly are walking by or watching me while making this video. 😆 That's what you get when I am just randomly filming all week!
Great. Real life. Enjoy seeing them!
That's just real life. They are both cute kids!

Quick and easy alfredo sauce, it's a 1:1:1 recipe:
1 stick of butter
1 cup grated parmesan
1 c heavy cream
We've been using it about 10 years now, always good!
Thanks for sharing! On Wednesdays, we have NY strip steaks and some type of seafood (salmon, baked oysters, or shrimp). I’ll have to try this sauce next time we have shrimp 👍🏻
@@msg4925 I've done that with shrimp too, so yummy!
Thanks for the recipe.
I guesstimate and last time I made some with mozzarella it was a grainy greasy mess.
My variation is I marinate shrimp peel ON , then put them on the grill.
Leftovers I sauté kielbasa that I tear into small chunks instead of slices.
(I believe it makes a difference !)
While it’s cooking I peel the leftover shrimp then toss them in and start building my sauce,
Lots of different flavors and textures and as Laura says it doesn’t take much to feel stuffed.

You look so healthy its crazy. You look younger like everytime I see one of your videos. Very motivating to stick to carnivore
I totally agree. She looks so vibrate. I’d assume one would feel sluggish on a carnivore diet. Obviously I was wrong.
Laura thank you so much for all your videos. I've been on keto with great success but now I'm having dietary boredom I think + extra stressors.but your videos have inspired me. Thanks for all you do. It is greatly appreciated. I am 77 years old.

Love the new house I wish your butcher could tell us what we’re asking for with the beef bacon. My butcher said he’d slice a brisket but yours seems to be from another part of the animal.
They just called it Beef Naval. Sorry! 😫
Try asking for pork belly 👍 that’s what we call it in oz
Funny, I just heard you on LowCarb MD while traveling about a week ago but didnt really remember your name cause you said you were on Instagram, which I dont have. Then today I started watching this video and realized...hey...thats the girl who was interviewed by Dr. Trey! Nice to hear and see your journey. And glad your husband is doing well. I will subscribe.
Best part..lil guy learnin some GRACIE jiujitsu!! Great video!
this was so very helpful Laura, thank you. Love the house, and you look amazing! Can I ask, what (if anything) do you drink on fasting days? Tea, coffee, water?? thank you I love these types of videos.
This is the video I've been looking for!
I may have to add in a 48 hour fast after Sunday’s dinner too to help with the weight I gained this past year😭
Keep up the amazing videos! Btw your hair is cute 🥰
WOW on the carnivore snax, thank you (maybe?) for introducing me to my new favorite substitute meal on the go, for travel, and in the office.
Have you done a video on the cooking equipment you use? I’d love to see a video on suggested brands or usage tips!
Some of the cooking equipment she is using is listed in the description box below.🤗
I switched from OMAD to 2MAD. I found if I ate just one meal, I was starving later. I'd love to try fasting at least one day a week.
Excellent job, my son lives in Queens Creek. What kind of air fried was that?
Thanks for sharing your journey...you look incredible 🤩 this is very helpful because meal prep is so hard for me.
Please keep posting these type of videos. I need the inspiration!
holy crap...I have never heard of those cheese wraps...GAMECHANGER...thanks for sharing! and that Cinder Grill!!!!! Keep up the great work.
Yes, I'm in AZ too. This was helpful and informative.
Been following you for a while. Your vlogs are very helpful. Thank you.
I'm relatively new to carnivore. Your tips are great.
It is very difficult find mayonnaise and ketchup without sugars
So those delicious food you eat are impossible in Italy, also cruncy snacks.
Anyway I appreciated a lot.
Your children are very nice🥰
Oh I'm in UK, its 4° Centigrade today, freezing😱 could do with some of your warmth!!
Idk why but I was really entertained by his video, well done!
Thank you for so many meal ideas!! I’d never heard of the cheese wraps and the meat chip things. I’m excited to try them.
Great video, we are here in Apache Jct.. Question, what is the make and model of the Air Fryer you used?
Less and less inflammation in your face every time I see you! Eyes looking vivid, the way you speak, you can tell by your tone, thought process is even. No peaks and troughs. Speaking of tone, SKIN tone is amazing haha. Thanks for sharing! I’m doing great on carnivore! My only hang up still is just a bit of almond butter still :( which will phase out I just know. Wanting it less and less. Which is good. Plant fats pretty much all omega 6....👎🏼
I should not be watching this while on a 36 hr fast lol. 😋 lol
Laura, First time here. This video popped up after I was watching Ken And Neisha Berry.
I’m so happy that l found your channel. I am going to try a modified version of this plan.
How it working this is my day 2 idk how it’s working for me yet ?
@@jesusking7977 it has been great for me. I'm on day 38 and I am down 26 pounds. It was a bit rough for the first week but I was also eating really badly. Lots of sweets and carbs. After you get past the adjustment and the diarrhea goes away it is amazing. My joints feel better, no more constant back pain, my head is clearer and my energy levels are constantly good. I also don't crave sweets anymore and haven't since week 2. Well worthwhile!!!
I really enjoyed this Laura, thank you! I live in Glendale and work in Mesa... I think we are neighbors!
Love these foods..but I have a question... how do your bowels go without greens? Thanks
After a few weeks your body gets adapted and goes back to normal...but you can also take a fiber supplement if you want
IH
To add to SR response (HF keto for 6+yrs, now HF carnivore for last 3yrs)
And I'm a 6' 225lbs fit guy 'these days'
You go (I go) very very little these yrs
I've learned and been told it is because my body is using all my nutrients for 'stuff' (energy, healing, maintaining, protecting etc)
During my many yrs as a S.A.D. diet.......MAJOR constitutionals (TMI i know)
But poop is WASTE nutriets/stuff not needed or used......
These days most is needed and used nutrients
A High Fat diet.....moves things along no problem
And theres very little
And all sinks to the bottom
Carbs/sugar FLOATS
Protein/fats.......sink and don't (finish the rhythm)
Congratulations Laura on your will power🙏🏻🌺🙌🏼..
I am loving this video. New fan. Saving and sharing. Have a wonderful Monday night.
Thank you!!! Welcome!
You look AMAZING Laura!
Just wanna say.. your kids are beautiful!
Watching your video while fasting made my mouth water...
