He used to make random stuff but eventually it grew into something bigger. Also many of these animations played a big part in my childhood and for my love of FNaF so I really loved this deep dive. :]

An amazing animation series for fnaf is “The Pizzaplex” by Smiffy There are 4 episodes at the time of fighting this, and they’re all funny and have a good story, for each episode
I feel a bit more should have been put into the SFM section, as their is so many great SFM animations. Most notably, I feel the lack of mentioning The Hottest Dog, someone who has made multiple incredibly funny videos, plus two long movie style videos, though one has been unlisted because people can't seem to leave children alone.
A LOT of those earlier 2d FNaF animations are what got me into animating in the first place. You have unlocked so many childhood memories I didn't know I had, hoooly crap. The nostalgia is almost overhwhelming I must say though, I am shocked at the lack of a Zajcu37 mention. He started a FNaF SFM series with some wild plot I barely remember in March of 2015 and it is _STILL GOING._ This guy is insane and this series is so iconic and I cannot believe the commitment to it
I know that I sound weird, but there's still a couple of people who still post, like xman723 and Zajcu37, who make the best story five nights at freddys' story's I ever seen
This is definitely your best video yet, the editing, the content, all of it. It was incredibly captivating, usually I play a game or have videos on in the background but this one I couldn't look away from. I never knew who Tony Crynight was until today, even though I do vividly remember that original ship video. All in all this was a pretty awesome video.
Man…like 8 years ago, animation in the community was so much fun. Granted, it’s so much better quality wise today, but there was something really special about the community back then.
Really great video. For my two cents on FNaF animations. I remember watching a series from this animator named "Hitlerspimp". Yes i know, very crude name. But he goes by Dr.Dash now. As a kid i loved watching his In the Weekend series, to a point where it kind of became a running gag in his other videos. Also might be misremembering this, but Nikson may have been a friend with Dr.Dash?? idk i remember seeing him in a couple vids of Dr.Dashs. Just seeing the title of this video made me smile. As someone who did a lot of short 2d animations based off FNaF (And they're most likely lost to time), i applaud you for this masterpiece of a video.
I remember fan 2D animation of fnaf 1 song after living tombstone song came out since the game came out in December 2014 but for whatever reason it’s no longer available to find on UA-cam which was might have copyright because of the song
Some of the most amazing animations I have seen that weren't cited on the video are for sure the Golden Lane series (that thing was amazing, so sad that they canceled it) and FNAF: Witness by lucifersam01, that 30 minutes animation is some of the most convoluted and horrifying things I have seen from the FNAF community ngl.
Sonic99rae actually made a bunch of super popular animations! They deleted their channel due to bullying or something so the video you showed for the fnaf 2 segment might me a reupload actually. I'm surprised you didn't go into more depth with them since for me, they were a huge deal in the fandom at their peak.
Yeah, I was a bit surprised honestly, but internet decay is real. Do you remember CiCiSixtyFour? She was a friend of Rae's, and Also got harrassed off. I knew Cici and it was bad enough that even now, they still hate being associated with their past names, and are terrified of people finding their current pseuds. It's been 10 years. Idk about Rae, but Cici was young enough that it mentally scarred them. Sorry comment derailment but they were one of my best friends irl and I hate how their works are gone, aside from a few reuploads on @jellu_bean or @jellubean (another former name) and a person on deviantart who cleaned up some of their art. I still admire them, and while I won't link their current accounts, they've imrpoved their art so much. CaramelCraze as well was a name often associated, I don't think they've changed names. Again sorry original commenter for hijacking your comment but I went to this video hoping that Cici would be on it and remembered... alas. Nothing on the internet lasts forever.
This video really unlocked some locked memories that were locked up for a long time. It's kinda weird to say that these animations are part of my childhood but i will never forget them and they really are something memorable to me.
This was an excellent video, though I do have to say this, Squimpus may of jumpstarted the VHS/Analog horror genre, but Junior 0437 did VHS tapes starting in 2016! and their work is actually really well made and I suggest you to check them out as well!
Feels great to see all of these creators during their golden ages and see most of them still creating what they love because of one game by one man. Also the fact that they tackled pretty mature subjects while still creating videos that were enjoyable to watch was the cherry on top imo. I'm very happy and thankful for these creators and their content to make me who i am today. If i had a personal favorite fan series it would be "crazyiscrazy meets corperalshepard" by crazyiscrazy. Kind of mixes everything i love about the fnaf fan animation community into one.
You know, you REEEEEEEAAAAAALLY didn't have to remind me about my childhood stickman OC obsession. That's not something you needed to dig up! I look back on this with both shame and nostalgia.
For the animation meme portion, Ijustwannahavefunn's purple guy danger meme, and that one worms micheal afton meme were iconic as well. Same goes for the Goldbox Bite of 83 animation in the fnaf 4 section, as well as their "Can you survive" song animation. Goldbox's animations in general were a staple in the 'vincent era' of fnaf for me honestly
You guys remember those really cursed fnaf thumbnails from like 2014 to 2016 you know what I'm talking about like how you we'll just see the animatronics and the most suggestive poses and just outright censored pr*n ahh memories
you deserve like 10 times the amount of subs you have, you've made about 4 and a half hours of content in less than a year which is an amazing amount of effort and yet you only have 9.99 thousand subs. you do good stuff, man.
I mean, Ik why Back then, not much was know bout the characters so everyone speculated how they would be like, that came personally, then soon people starting making them their comfort characters. Which maybe some ships you could see happening but like then some people get haywire and forget that a few or so characters are children and adults.
Some notes: xKoro was named Pikachufanz during that time, and also Sonic99Rae made more animations aside from the mangle one (Which fully assembled design was very obvious, not a prediction) Other nostalgic animations I can think, is the bite of 87 by Illumiyumi and also that South Park style animation parody
I remember a SFM animation called FNaF Origins with those robot voices over each of the characters and there was a whole story about the kids dying and there was like Freddy getting ptsd from the second group of kids being killed and whenever i tried to find this fever dream it didnt exist anywhere
I enjoyed seeing these FNAF animations around 2014-2016 for its heart and simplicity and the whole early FNAF vibes we had as kids. I only wished you've covered Zajcu37's FNAF SFM series (which he is still working for almost a decade now) and Quiet Tomato's Springtrap and Mangle series for how insane and deep it is. Either way I enjoyed revisiting seeing the animations after so many years and for covering them ^^
Zajcu sfm animation that is still ongoing was damn cinema back in the day aswell, hes miliking it now much more than he should’ve but it still has good story and until nightmare showing up it was genuinely fantastic quality of animation and dialogue
I do kinda wish you included "Foxy Gets Hooked". It's probably my fav FNaF 1 animation, its got this rubber horse style to it and it's pretty well done
Years ago I swear I watch an animated FNAF series on youtube but for the life of me I cannot find it. All I remember was that there was an RV and that some people go stuffed into a freezer at one point.
Loving these series of Fnaf fanwork retrospectives! There's so much out there that this could continue to expand for quite some time, and I'm sure moat of us would be up for it! About animations in particular, like many in the comments, you should tackle Zajcu37 and his long-form Fnaf series, in a follow-up!
im honestly surprised that bonnie bunny hasnt been mentioned in both the video and comment section at all, i still remember the days where i would watch their videos on my 3ds (back when youtube was still somewhat functional on it) decently late at night

I remember fan 2D animation of fnaf 1 song after living tombstone song came out since the game came out in December 2014 but for whatever reason it’s no longer available to find on UA-cam which was might have copyright because of the song
where is Zajcu37?! 😡😡
killed
thx for reminding me of there name
Realllll!
Listen, nobody cares about teen drama with fnaf characters
@@polishfriendWhat u talking bout? That ain't no teen drama, it's more like apocalyptic, kinda sci-fi like drama
Tony Crynight is the reason i still ship Foxy and Mangle, to this day.
I grew up, yet some things never chnaged.
2015 was the BEST year for FnaF animations.
That was super freaking amazing! I really enjoyed this video! The amount of effort and time you've put into this video really paid off!
Seeing Crazy Boris in the thumbnail is what made me click, and I really enjoyed it! You have a new sub.
Well done video! This brought back a lot of memories from back in the day, keep it up :)
I was surprised foxy gets hooked wasnt here, prob one of the best animations ive seen
22:43 nuh uh there was some random ass animation of all the fnaf world characters beating up bouncer thats been stuck in my head for years
For the animation meme portion, Ijustwannahavefunn's purple guy danger meme, and that one worms micheal afton meme were iconic as well.
Two evil eyes was my favourite fnaf animation. Like,, it's so good! But darn, this was a blast of the past
The jewel in the crown of fnaf content is “how to make five nights at Freddy’s not scary”
this was such a nostalgia trip, good work on the video!
you deserve like 10 times the amount of subs you have, you've made about 4 and a half hours of content in less than a year which is an amazing amount of effort and yet you only have 9.99 thousand subs. you do good stuff, man.
This dude is right. We shouldn't judge people for shipping robots
BUT THE TOY CHICA SIMPS ARE A DIFFERENT STORY
I mean, Ik why
Back then, not much was know bout the characters so everyone speculated how they would be like, that came personally, then soon people starting making them their comfort characters.
Which maybe some ships you could see happening but like then some people get haywire and forget that a few or so characters are children and adults.
This is such a nostalgic video thanks for making this 🙂
Seeing both Jaiden and Ashley Nichols was two uppercuts in a row,
Like damn, I watch those people.
THIS IS PEAK! literally a recap of my childhood.
Some notes: xKoro was named Pikachufanz during that time, and also Sonic99Rae made more animations aside from the mangle one (Which fully assembled design was very obvious, not a prediction)
Other nostalgic animations I can think, is the bite of 87 by Illumiyumi and also that South Park style animation parody
This was like half of my childhood thank you for making this😂❤
This man perfectly represents my hidden unhinged thought process/reactions and I love it :)
This whole video and not once Zajcu37 was mentioned... The man's series is STILL continuing to this day! And every episode is better than the last!
The fact that I recognized every piemation animations is actually crazy to me
I remember a SFM animation called FNaF Origins with those robot voices over each of the characters and there was a whole story about the kids dying and there was like Freddy getting ptsd from the second group of kids being killed and whenever i tried to find this fever dream it didnt exist anywhere
40:17 is WILD 💀💀💀💀
I enjoyed seeing these FNAF animations around 2014-2016 for its heart and simplicity and the whole early FNAF vibes we had as kids. I only wished you've covered Zajcu37's FNAF SFM series (which he is still working for almost a decade now) and Quiet Tomato's Springtrap and Mangle series for how insane and deep it is. Either way I enjoyed revisiting seeing the animations after so many years and for covering them ^^
Quiet Tomato got nothing on Tony tho
I was surprised to find out DAGames' animations didn’t make the cut, but overall solid video. All Hail Piemations
FNAF SFM animations and FNAF plush videos were my childhood. I miss that stuff
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR FNAF HALLOWEEN FOR YEARS, I cant believe it’s here
