The dealer support is so key, I am sad to hear Bad Boy didn't have the motor you wanted but at this point you are a BobCat guy and that is 100% fine. You deserve it brother, Sarah said heck yeah WhippaSnippa. AWESOME MATE!!!

Great detailed and honest review of the BobCat mowers and what a nice mower the ZT6000 is. I have been looking and comparing much the same manufactures as you had... and you have answered some of the questions I had also formed regarding the serviceability of the HydroGear hydros, so thanks for confirming. I have been looking at the BobCat ZT3000 & 3500 for our large rural property on a slope with a few rough areas, so comfort and duty are of importance. I'm in Victoria and one thing I noticed immediately with all of the BobCat ZT3000's not so much with the ZT3500 (at multiple dealers), was that there was obvious evidence of rust on some of the edges of the metal framework & welds where the paint was thin or had chipped and on lots of the bolts on the frame as well the bolts on the Hydros and some of metal linkages under the mower. I mentioned this to the dealers however they shrugged it off pretty quickly and put it down to shipment issues in the container. This doesn't give me much confidence from the dealer should something go wrong later on down the track like the bolts on the hydros cease up due to the rust. I really like what you get with the BobCats, however seeing more than I would like of surface rust takes away from the appeal of a well built mower, specially the ZT3000 mowers I was looking at (probably bad batch or low quality coating used on the bolts?). Keep up the great reviews.

I have had no surface rust issues with the 3 Bobcats I have. Are there other Bobcat dealers not too far away? I place great store in having a good dealer. I also,was looking at the ZT3500, even though I didn't mention it in the video due to buying the ZT6000. My preference would be for the ZT3500 with the FX691V motor, 3400 transaxles (better than 3100 in the ZT3000 re hills), double the fuel capacity 29.5 Vs 14.3 litres. You going to put a stripe kit on it ? It truly makes a massive difference. I love my zt7000 61 35hp
Cheers Sterling. Re Striping Kit - yeah I know it makes a big difference, but not at the moment. $20k for the new mower is enough at this stage.
