Sorry to hear about the crash man! Hopefully you can shake it off and review what happened when you have a chance. Sometimes those crashes become very good lessons. If your head made contact with the ground, I’d recommend getting a new lid! Stay safe man!

Lately I've been contemplating the colors I choose. With the extremely hot weather and constant sun exposure, black has been paying a toll on my endurance out on the track. I've been scouring the internet looking at white/light colored options with little options to choose from. Either it's way too plain looking, or there are simply none to choose from.
You could grab the white one and throw on some decals!

I have the kyt and pista. I wanna get the shark. I have a ms in the pista a small in the kyt because the shell is the same just padding is tighter which I want. The pista fits perfect and its my benchmark. The kyt fits a little bit less uniform. I want to know m vs s in shark and if its worth getting. Looking at the aeron.
100% get the shark; it’s still my favorite track helmet. It sounds like S might be your size with the Shark; is there any way to try one before you order though?

I have only ever worn Suomy and Bell now the KYT has sold me! Great quality helmet and a great price. I bought a TT course too for $120
How did you end up liking the TT course if you don't mind me asking? Pros and Cons?

@@ratpatrol281 The fit is good. I like it but not for racing.... feels kinda cheaply made I just use it for occasional street riding. My NZrace is my track helmet
I had their NFJ jet helmet, quality is ok just it doesn't fit me well.. bought AGV K5 jet it's a perfect fit, oh the shark gp is just one of the best I've ever had.. can't fit the Pista..lol
Love the Shark, I’ll probably get another tbh. I just tried the X15 today and I was surprised how much I liked it. Regarding the KYT will be curious to see how it performs on track in a few weeks!
How is the fit of the KYT vs the Shark? Also are the overall shell sizes about the same? The Shark shell profile looks smaller.
Good eye, the shell for the Shark is tighter. The Shark fits more snug around the cheek but I wouldn’t say it’s tight around the temple/head. The KYT feels a little bit less firm around the crown of the head and it seems like the padding is thicker toward the back of the head, but the Shark is even all around the skull.
Despite the differences, a Medium in Shark is also a Medium in the KYT.
@@vtranmoto would you say one is more round internally in the crown than the other? I have a true oval head shape.
Do you know about axor apex helmet ? If you then which one has mor durability agv replica or axor apex because they comes nearly at the same price
I need answer! In between this two helmets
I have never heard of them until now. After searching it looks like it’s based in India. In my perspective, helmets are the most important piece of safety equipment and I would not risk my head and my life with unknown brands. I’d stick to the helmets that pro racers trust: AGV, Arai, Shoei, KYT, etc. they have great selection at all price points. That’s just my perspective!
In Indonesia we can get dark visor freely

I just recently rode the KYT and AGV back to back at COTA and can confirm the KYT is quieter with less wind noise than the AGV 👍

Can someone tell me the head shape of this helmet? Iooking for more round oval helmets and I can’t seem to find a answer for this helmet
It’s more round and a little looser than a Shoei of same size; I’m comparing sizing with a Medium Shoei X14, KYT, and Shark.
I'm looking at this helmet for my track helmet... thoughts so far?

Do you konw if the KYT NC-Race in Carbon is available in Switzerland?
Unfortunately, there isn't a distributor in Switzerland yet, looks like you may have to purchase from a US dealer (which seems kind of convoluted).

How’s the fit compared to your X14? I wear an X14 now and contemplating between this or the Suomy. I heard the Suomy is basically the same helmet just a little better materials.
Comparing it to my X14, the way the KYT sits feels like it’s rotated back a little bit toward the back of your skull. The X14 feels like it’s sitting right on top of your head by just a smidge more.
The KYT is also just a bit looser around the cheeks. But the KYT Medium is comparable to the Shoei Medium.
As you pointed out it’s very similar to a Suomy which a few of my friends use, just a little less premium. I think the KYT is really a solid value helmet, if you have the budget to go bigger do that, but if you’re trying to budget for other things then you could do KYT + say an airbag system.

How many grams?
I bought this helmet because I originally was looking to buy the all gloss carbon Suomy SRGP but that damn thing is $765 plus $100 for a smoke visor and another $40 for the pinlock70 insert!! Screw that!! Basically $900. I decided on buying this same NZ carbon race with a smoke visor pinlock and helmet bag all for $620… much better and this helmet is light AF!! Feels like nothing on your head. Suomy owns KYT too
How about the air ventilation of nzrace？
It works well, I know a few guys that use it full time here in Texas and our summers are brutal - no complaints from them on that front!
@@vtranmoto Even the mouth cover is closed, is there is air leakage , the wind can still dry your eyes.
How does it feel on the track? Do you aprove!?

But the short of it is that it’s great! It’s noticeably quieter than the much more expensive AGV. It’s a *little* looser fit wise, but it’s super light and comfortable while moving on the bike.
