i use both, kyt for my daily ride and shoei for long distance touring, both perform well, but i prefer KYT because its so friendly and the gearbase is good quality and tough💪💪💪

Honestly in our own experience its a very subjective topic. Generally modular helmets weigh a little bit more. Some people are okay with the extra weight some people hate it

Shoei is over rated .arai shell so hard really feel like worth your money wont even flex when you press .snell certified worth it But sadly they no modular cause it compromises the snell standard .yes their open face is higher standard than shoei modular
This is false. The snell standard isnt great for safety in real world settings, plus the standard itself has been 'morphed''. You want rotational protection which comes from softer and rounder helmets. Can look at FortNine videos explaining this.
Mate, next time you guys test that hammer test do not be in front. The hammer may get you in the head, knee or stomach if u aren't careful. Good test though, just that part seemed careless
I've actually got a question about helmet sizes in Sg. I've tried L**** and H** Modulars. L**** (XXL) was a very tight fit after the chin bar came down. Sales told me H**, I would not even be able to fit. I have 2x open face, O** (XL) and A** (XXL). Was told in Sg, most helmets comes in Asian Fitting Sizes. Do you guys have any recommendations for me on where and which brand I might be able to get a Modular to fit my head? LoL BTW, I'm a new rider on d road, juz got my 2B like a month ago. It's good to be able to hear what's going on around you when wearing a helmet. I think a helmet with too much sound shielding can be dangerous.

From our observations, the chin bar held up pretty well. Like we said at the end of the video, the kyt convair looks like a decent helmet!

Riding around with it flipped up is tiring on your neck as the wind is pushing against it. A better modular choice is the 180 degrees flip over.

Best way is to try the helmets yourself because our heads are all of different shapes and sizes haha
