2000 SPECIAL REPORT: "BOSTON HALL OF JUSTICE" (PART I)

- "In 'Real Justice,' FRONTLINE goes inside the halls of the Suffolk County courts, revealing an intimate look at America's criminal justice system. It's a system that bears little resemblance to television legal dramas such as 'The Practice,' in which cases are decided on the strength of dramatic courtroom speeches by impassioned attorneys able to devote all of their attention to a single case or client.
"In contrast, the real life lawyers in 'Real Justice' spend their days shuttling back and forth between different cases and different courts in an attempt to keep the wheels of justice turning. Part I of the documentary follows prosecutors and defense attorneys through District Court, where cases such as trespassing and car theft are dispensed swiftly; part II examines Superior Court, where serious crimes such as manslaughter and murder are addressed. In both courts, time is at a premium.

I have never called a person a “queer” and I never said anything about having a brand new pair of steel toed Timberlands on. The man actually knocked my son over and never apologized for it. That truly is what started all of this
Those pan out shots of Boston hit different because a young me was somewhere in there moving around.
💯 FACTS!!! Boston was a completely different city in the 90s and 2000s
Right I was about 6-7
I am from the UK and can only imagine how it was.. it looks a tough place
@@vladimirputinforUSA it sure was a total different animal
@@adilsonpires8865I was 15
Absolutely Fascinating insight..
Awesome!! My city!! ❤
I’ve lived in the Greater Boston area my entire life. I’ve seen lots of good and lots of bad from “both sides” of the law and in some instances been directly involved.
Boston is my home - I’ll always love the place I call home..
Primo on the track.❤
Loved this, is part 2 available.

@@HezakyaNewz Thank you for this, much appreciated.
That defense attorney went to far with his closing he already had the case won going into the closing!
This system is crooked. They processing people.
35:30 - Low I.Q. combined with low impulse control.
Strangely unsurprising... 🤔
1:24:34 embezzles 7,600$ from the govt thru welfare fraud , yet complains to her FREE lawyer (calls her a bitch) about a sweet deal for probation and paying back half of the money. Also 10 missed court dates and repeateldy let go with not 1 day of jail. entitled attitude? strangely unsurprising.
So true
Salaam my brotha ✊🏾
HERE YE, HERE YE 😂😂😂
Guys like this defense attorney clearly is too emotionally and was bullied so he became the state 1 man show hes assistant use the rules and laws policies to benefit them
That guy was away to cocky he likes to hear himself talk nobody gets a word in people who be load & wrong always talk over people
