I genuinely teared up at the man sobbing in reuniting with a middle school classmate. That realization must've felt like a kick in the balls, or a fistful of reality to the face that he was a good kid, and was on the right track, but substances steered him away in the wrong direction into being faced with a school friend through one of the worst possible ways.

When the father said “He smiled at me!” I felt that.. No one should have to go through what he went through. And yes if you’re wondering the killer of his daughter really did smile at him. Sickening, absolutely sickening. I don’t judge his actions one bit.
He did smile, you could see it when the dad jumped him and when the police officer looked at him. He straightened his face out like "but I didn't even do anything..." He was absolutely smirking at the dad, he was even half smiling when he stood up out of his chair. Put him in a chair with some voltage and see how long that smile lasts. 21:20 I feel his pain man so crazy to see the different paths people you know from young has taken and seeing that she’s become a successful highly paid judge while he’s fallen into the life of crime is so crazy
Wasnt the judge from the initial trail. My dad was the probation officer that processed him the day he was arrested. He told me he was a good kid trying to act tough by saying he did the crime, but he knew he and his cousin hadn't committed the crime. My dad hated that particular DA, investigator that were in the first trail. DA was adamant of just having a crime "solved" for political reasons, like many DAs unfortunately are.
They had circumstantial evidence, but DNA science has come a long way since 1992. Quite a few people have been released lately after serving decades because DNA or lack of it proved they were innocent
The dad who attacked the smiling murderer did nothing wrong. Glad he wasn’t charged for it, nobody deserves to lose their child and have the killer laugh in their face like that. The fact that he held himself back that long at all makes him a stronger man than most.
It is. There are all of these moments that we don't even notice as they pass us that will take us down another path. Obviously these two schoolmates took very different paths and the weight of that realization hit him hard.

Anyone else shed a tear for the first guy, just heartbreaking he had to spend 18 years in prison for something he didn't do. I wish him and family many blessings.
What's even worse about that case is that there was an entire list of people who gave alibis for this man and where he was at the time. One of which was a sheriff. He literally wasn't even in the state where the crime was committed. None of the people on the list were ever called to be interviewed. I think there was like 13 people or more on the list.
@@TheMajesticKnight I agree. It was completelt unacceptable. I was looking in to the case, and the fact that he had all this evidence that proved he wasn't even there; yet no one would listen to him...ridiculous. They stole that man's life from him.
It's so wrong that confessions hold so much weight in court, yet understandable most of the time. But when the evidence is AGAINST the confession, that should be considered. There are too many innocent convicts who were talked into confessing to something they didn't do. Look at Brendan Dassey. 💔

Also, proof that her mental health is severely poor. Punishing someone so mentally ill accomplishes nothing and is literally wasting the courts time. Someone who has been put on court ordered treatment in the past has a very severe mental illness. I’ve worked with people like her. They literally get injected with drugs against their will, it’s that severe.
I bet under normal circumstances, there is no way that guy could move like that. His rage lifted him. I just wish he could've got his hands on that POS.
It was actually the very first thing I expected. Hahaha! In fact I expected the other guy to get mauled, but cowards often know how to dodge danger to themselves. It did not help the officers were so dedicated to their jobs.... It is funny you can call the police in some places and they will not show up for hours during active brawls and shootings, yet they do their job on overdrive when kids steal gum from a bodega, or a killer actually NEEDS his butt kicked. They are all 120 mile per hour Pit Maneuvers and linebacker blocks then....
Not having enough evidence to convict someone doesn't automatically make them innocent. I hope he was. But I find the complete confidence in some of these comments to be completely asinine.
if anyone is wondering about booth, as of 2022 he really did take his second chance and turn his life around, he spent 10 months in jail studying business and got out and hasn’t been back since.

@Bob Brieny His initial reaction was probably out of embarrassment. But he started crying tears of regret when she recalled what a good kid he was and how happy he always seemed. It's hard being reminded of so much potential -- and in his case, decades -- lost to addictions, poor decisions and "what might have been."
