Lyrics:
Whiskey woman don't you know that you are drivin' me insane
The liquor you give stems your will to live and gets right to my brain
Don't you know you're driving me insane
You're tryin' to find your way through life
You're tryin' to get some new direction
Another woman got her man
She won't find no new connection
Takes another drink or two, things look better when she's through
Takes another look around, you're not goin' anywhere
You've realized you're gettin' old and no one seems to care
You're tryin' to find your way again
You're tryin' to find some new...
Another woman's got her man
But she won't find a new...
Takes another drink or two, things look better when she's through
You 'bin foolin' with some hot guy
I want to know why is it why
Get up get out you know you really blew it
I've had enough, I've had enough, good God pluck me
[SOLO (K.K./Glenn)]
Once she was wonderful
Once she was fine
Once she was beautiful
Once she was mine...she was mine
Now change has come over her body, she doesn't see me anymore
Now change has come over her body, she doesn't see me anymore
Changes, changes, changes, changes
Victim of changes
Most people do not understand how great Judas Priest are. It somehow has passed a lot of people by. Time, however, will be very kind to them.
i totally agree.....
Yes. Very true. Drives me crazy
@@MidnightIsolde Drives you insane*
I think Stained Class is up there
Very much indeed😎
This song seriously has one of the heaviest classic metal riffs of all time
Which Mercyful Fate loved so much that they decided to do their own spin on it.
Sounds like SABBATH
@@robertstanfordcam2649 Sounds nothing like them to me. The two guitar attack, way more raw drive in Priest opposed to the grind of Sabbath.
Ok... Love bott bands
@@Neonmirrorblack Don't you mean The Ripper?
A pure heavy metal masterpiece. I saw them in concert twice (2001 & 2004) and they were amazing. With all the respect to Richie Faulkner and Andy Sneap, no one beats K. K. Downing and Glenn Tipton.
I couldn't agree more. I've seen them three times. With Glenns mad mad Guitar skills, I adore him and pray only the best for him, always in my prayers. Love these guys! .❤️🇬🇧
Absolutely.......I was in my early teens and saw them in '84 and pretty much throughout the '80s in the prime years along with an early '90s show. Saw them again in 2008 and they still put on a killer show.
And let's be honest, Rob's vocals aren't exactly as great these days....
YEP, we are talking metal Gods here!
Toda la Razón amigo los solos solos y riffs de estos 2, deberían ser patrimonio del Heavy Metal , en riding of the wing , gringe , mucho antes de Pain killer tienen hermosos solos en Stained class , etc
I remember back in the late seventies I went to see UFO and there was a warm up band that I had never heard of by the name of Judas Priest. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing these guys stole the show! I'm almost 65 and these guys still kick ass!
UFO Phenomenon was killer
Same here! They opened for UFO at the Chicago Stadium. Late 70's before I joined the Army. They not only Rocked the Chicago Stadium, they blew it up. Closed with Green Manalishi. Great performances. 😎
LOL..l remember UFO..
Awesome Sir 🍷
I am right there with you buddy, it was when they were first coming out. UFO is badass too.
Pinnacle of Heavy Metal. No self parody. Insane dynamic range, from lows to highs. Smooth when needed, no holding back when full on.
This song is 7 octaves.
I listen to it every day
Kids if there’s still a chance to see Priest live, PLEASE do so. They are phenomenal live.
I've been a Priest fan all my life I've seen them 80, 82, and 85 I am going to see them in Albany NY May 21, 2024
I totally back this comment up, saw them in Greece, first time in 2022 and second time 2024. Blew me away how halford was better physically in 2024 and even much more powerful vocalwise in 2024, he was already impressive in 2022. Definitely top 3 lives I've seen. In 2022, I moshed pit all the live and reached to squeeze to be 4th from the front row and I saw painkiller and the encore right in my face. In 2024, I was way back and it was like I had a chance to relive the 2022 from a laid back POV and actually hear the band more (same venue too). But i was afraid being so way back the music wouldn't reach me the same but the mfs did it anyway, even if the people that were around were totally different and were stuck up.
I just did last night. One of the greatest shows I've ever had the chance to see.
@@stevefernandez9986 best years I hear you
Saw them earlier this year with Sabaton as their opening act. My GOD, Rob's still got some impressive vocal chops considering he's now past 72. I could tell he was getting a bit worn down by the end of the show, but considering they started with Panic Attack, with several classics afterward including Victim of Changes, You Got Another Thing Coming, Hellbent For Leather, Breaking The Law and Painkiller, I'm glad he lasted as long as he did. At 26, I never thought I'd EVER have the chance to see Judas Priest or Sabaton any time soon, but seeing both at the same show, especially in this part of the US seemed nigh on impossible. I feel beyond honored to have seen Judas Priest before they eventually hang it up for good. Rock on to any and all fellow Judas Priest fans out there.
Tipton and Downing the best guitar duo ever!!!!!
Dave Murray and Adrien Smith….. Close second 😮!!
Yes, I agree!! A close second is Adrian and Dave of Maiden. 😎
Glenn and kk, THE greatest dynamic duo EVER!!!!!
Rob Halford is my vocal hero. Sad Wings of Destiny is one of the greatest albums ever.
There is so much amazing music out there. I love so much of it. But when I want or need comfort food I come back to Judas Priest.
Priest at their peak. those old albums nothing better
Accept no imitations. This is real Metal. From the Metal Gods.
LIKEWISE!

REAL AND AWESOME METAL
Yeah growing old is pretty fucking brutal, I mean metal!
Absolutely
This is what you call REAL..
Talent!
Craftmanship!
Musicianship!
Awesome guitars!
Awesome drums!
BEYOND AWESOME VOCALS!
FFFFFUUUUCCCCKKKKKKKK
YYYYEEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
The BEST heavy metal concert I ever saw in Philly!! Iron Maiden opened. Left some brain cells behind that night 😵
Maiden and Priest on the same night ? Man...
saw that tour in Little Rock
AWESOME
I saw JP at the Spectrum 88', Ram it Down Tour!
holy shit man, what a concert that must have been!
Priest's first US heading tour. Most Dates included Maiden's first trip to the US ( Paul Dianno singing) and Whitesnake (deep purple line up). Great tour indeed.
I'm a 56 yr. Old life long ROCKER, My 11 yr. old son rocks out to JP and it warms my heart to know I showed him The True Metal GODS!
👏👏👏👏👏🎸🎸🎸
good on you dad theres hope for the future
Hang in there Glenn. All of us Priest fans are pulling for you. Good luck!!!
"Realize I'm getting old and no one seems to care! "
What and awesome era!
Absolutely right my friend seen them live so many times!!! 😉
It's crazy seeing these guys back in the day pretty fucking tight.
It ain't fair!!
Aren't we all.....victims of changes....classic Priest from back in the day....that I long for....
Peak Metal. Nothing has ever surpassed Victim live.
I love how, on this tour especially, when playing different-tempo songs live their whole stage presence changes slightly for each one individually. When I started playing rhythm guitar in a garage band in '89, I was SO influenced by these pros. Long live Judas Priest. 🤘
Even at 55, this is STILL one of the go to songs to pull up, put my headphones on, spark a Doobie and JAM TOO. 2/× 4 Thumbs UP
Based
@@dslhernandez3001 based these nuts
You know it!
Victim of Changes is a master piece of heavy metal ever!
sorry to say folks, it really doesnt get any better than this, priest are superb, they were at their peak here
Listen to some concerts from 1988. Their best tour, Rob's voice was never so good before and after that period.
Nothing more true could be said. Rob was interstellar on that tour. There used to be clips from the Miami show on youtube. They were fan filmed and rough but you could tell he was spot on. You've encouraged me to look and see if more have been added from the RID tour.
ua-cam.com/video/Wvlq1F-X6Ko/v-deo.html
For the voice. Never cleaner.
I think the performance of this in the video from US-Festival 1983 is better. My favorite version is the Unleashed in the East track.
Halford already peeled the paint off the walls with his incredible voice......
The best metal right there in this 10 minutes no doubt. The guitar, drums and the execution by Halford is on point. This is why I consider Judas Priest the best metal band because they can play so diverse tracks
One of the greatest Rock Songs of all time.
Well, It is official Judas Priest was just announced to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! The band has been together for over 50 years and have put out at least 18 albums and 6 live albums, they opened for Led Zepplin in the early 70's at The Day on the Green and along with Black Sabbath were the only 2 metal bands at Live Aid in the 80's. They have toured the world many times. I will never forget the first time I ever heard them was in high school and we were skipping class and someone said have you ever heard of these guys? They put in a tape of Sad Wings of Destiny and the song Victim of Changes played...and I was hooked, then I saw them live in concert for the first time a couple of years later on the British Steel tour. I have had all their albums and seen them many times. I'm so happy for them as they deserve it and everyone who has played in the band will be there including Les Binks. Congrats to Judas Priest!!!
Greatest singer of all time period, in his prime. No one could touch Rob's octave levels. Delivery, lyrics !
King Diamond can give him a run for his money octave wise.
Ian Gillan too
while I agree I have to say I dont like his performance here at all. he sounds terrible
Dude from Nitro, can bring it also, would love to hear him do this song..
@@richardw9863 Without a doubt. King Diamond doesn't fuck around.
If you don't love this song, you can't be my friend. lol This is a beast of a song. Absolutely incredible and masterful arrangement. Musically mind blowing. Vocally .... wow...just my god. Goosebumps from head to toe. The control he has over his instrument. Rob Halford is a metal God.
the best guitar duo
One of the best written, composed, played and sung songs in the history of humanity.
So many great Guitarists in the world, but never heard a tandem of two together that could Match Glenn and KK.
Judas Priest is my all time favorite band ever
Seen these guys 83-90’s. Prime time. Iron Maiden, Priest , Metallica & Queensryche
All the Hardest, loudest pure sound I’ve ever seen. Yes all the Greats followed Sabbath, and they had influence / blues rock before them. All of them Are my top metal ( Queensryche progressive/ metal) bands ever. 52 years worth
I was at THIS concert! 16yrs old and full of angst and Jack Daniels, shit I was a wild child! How I made it to 53, I'll never know.... metal musta pulled me thru!!😈🎸
You one lucky guy. I hope your hearing are okay from Rob's screaming. :)
Lucky guy! Were you there in Memphis?
I'm glad for you. I'm 50, hope visit Judas Priest in Kiev 2020.Listen JP since 1983. Salute from Ucraine. МОЛОДЦЫ ПАРНИ.

So Cool! Hope you get to see Priest there. Regards from Philadelphia PA in the States. Check out the live '83 version of this song. Freakin' shreds. BILL
These were the times, where real musicians tour the globe and timeless masterpieces were played.
Saw them at a small club outside Chicago in their early days. Best live show, ever. They were loaded for bear, with enough gear to fill a stadium. You didn’t just hear the music, you felt it. It was a total aural onslaught.
Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing had tremendous power together.
Best duo in HEAVY METAL. By far!!!.
At this time there were few double lead metal guitarists….. Dave M and Adrian S from Maiden and that was about all from this time….
This is true Metal! This concert made its debut on MTV . I recorded it on Beta max and I’ve watched hundreds upon hundreds of times. I’m 56 now and I just watched it again with in my EarPods I’m. Freaking awesome. The whole band ….freaking awesome concert. Tipton is a fantastic guitarist. Hanford insane and phenomenal frontman.
I’m 57 and sounds like me. Betamax and maybe 1000 times.! Incredible show.
Back in 76 when you could release a 7min 47sec album version and without hesitation play it live for years to come!
the definition of kickass metal then now and forever
The absolute best….live footage…of the band.
Reflection tonight. My Freshman year Benson high school, dude says let's go see Judas Priest, im in bro let's go. CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER. Peace my for real Metal family.
This is striking across centuries and millennia!
This is REAL METAL!All The Best to Priest
I LOVE JUDAS PRIEST, FOREVER AND A DAY., HOW THE ROCK HALL OF FAME HAS NOT YET INDUCTED THESE ROCK LEGENDS ABSOLUTELY BLOWS MY MIND, THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED. I AM 60 AND I HAVE ROCKED WITH THESE GUYS SINCE THE BEGINNING, TODAY I WAS LISTENING TO VENGENCE LIVE 82, IN FACT ALL WEEK I AM AN IRONMAN IN TRAINING AND THESE MUSIC IS POETRY TO THE SOUL
ROCK ON PRIEST THE WORLD KNOWS U R HALL OF FAMERS, WE JUST GOT TO WAIT TO THE ROCK HALL OF FAME WAKES THE F... UP
Judas Priest is the turning point of metal music. They are the first heavy metal band and also a great one👏🤘🤘🤘👏
Without priest..we wouldn’t get the lords of metal..METALLICA
The would be Black Sabbath.
@@mr.brenman2132sabbath was heavy, priest was metal!
@@GeorgeZimmermen Sabbath was Metal.
@@mr.brenman2132 I know I know. Just repeating what someone once said to KK Downing that he later said in an interview
The speech Halford gives at the beginning is just great
He frequently says “indeed.” I love that!
The greatest band to ever walk the face of the Earth, Judas Priest, and I'm pentecostal!
Oh, hell yeah! The guitars, that voice ... those drums. A+
Our Generation had the best Rock/Metal to date, just music in general as well🤘🤘
my favorite song of all time, such a piece of art and viceral expresionism
I wish I could go back as well, Daniel. I saw JP in 84, 17th row. The 80s were the best of times.!!!
Amen ! It troubles me that those times are gone, but Thank God I was there and Lived it all !
That wall of Marshall's amp left me hearing bells for a week and I fuckn loved it!!! Long live Priest.
i had a guy i used to work with who went to see mark 3 deep purple and his hearing never fully recovered. he's still part deaf even now and that was 1974.
@@soundcreeps5371 I heard they were really loud .Maybe the loudest for there time.
I am 62 going on 63 and I was 24 years old when this badass concert went on by Metal and the God of Metal Rob halford and Judas Priest..in Memphis Tennessee...
Perfection! Best Priest track and a strong contender for the best metal track of all time. Sheer brilliance.
This is still one of my favorite albums of all time! Changes... Dreamer...Dreamer Deceiver. I absolutely love the album cover! Totally awesome!!
Baddest song I ever heard! Its so bad its legendary! Love you Judas Priest! ♥️🎸Tone, lyrics, are all killers! Been fan since 1980s.
This entire concert was broadcasted on MTV, if you can believe that. I use to record all those MTV shows on Saturday night.
The good ol'days when MTV played music 🤘
As far as I'm concerned priest invented heavy metal. This tune here is my absolute favorite I always headbang to it.
still my favorite priest song. man those were the days
the very BEST PRIEST song
That was a solid performance.
That’s what is missing in today’s Judas Priest. The two guitarists don’t do anything but just stand there like statues as they play. Kk and Glenn have stage presence and play guitar dramatically with the music and visually for the audience. Glenn has great eye contact and charisma.
"don’t do anything but just stand there like statues as they play"
errr...Tony Iommi says hello
Richie Faulkner definitely doesn't stand there like a statue!
KK and Glenn are my favorite guitar duo but Richie Faulkner is a great guitarist and he has a great stage presence, that cannot be said for Andy Sneap.
Ritchie has tons of stage presence. Definitely one of the best guitarists of the modern era
This is the song that turned me into a fan. Such an epic, heavy song.
Saw Priest live in a smaller venue earlier this year and they still kill it. Glenn Tipton even came out for the encore! One of the best sounding shows I've ever been to.
Starlight Theatre Kansas City front row Sep '18! Little Rock Arkansas front row this June!
When did u see JP first time?
Doesn’t get any better than this. Priest 🤘
I performed this song (guitar) as my Final exam for my music class in highschool. I passed.
That's bad ass!!!
It’s ripping my heart out because that Priest we are watching here are gone forever. They were absolutely in their prime right here but now the band is permanently fractured and will never get to see them like this again. What I wouldn’t give to go back in time………….
They leave you almost speechless after that........... totally BAD ASS!
Hell YESSSSS
I've seen them almost every time they come to town.. I'm 55yrs old.. just seen them about 2 months ago. Halford it is truly the metal god.. I watch the older videos and I see the arenas completely full Halford said it all these people were united through heavy metal
We are all united by Judas priest.
Behold the greatest heavy metal band of all time!
These guitar tones are just out of this world. Gimme the secret sauce
Over the years I think I've watched this concert like 278 times.
Holy shit this is a HEAVY rendition of this song, which was already heavy
Mr. Tipton and Mr. Downing Genius's at the Helm ... Ripping it Up and Powering it Out 💥 ♦️
judas priest (of 70s and 80s) is the ultimate heavy metal and this is their ultimate song.
wish I could go back in time to the good old days
metallica
Huh?
Mewho.......Priest man, Maiden......I know not of whom you speak
Just to have a chance to go to this concert.
Seen that concert @ the Meadowlands, NJ , Iron Maiden opened for them....Awesome concert!!
The way Rob sings last 🌹 of summer shows his range it's unmatched
Since I was 17 in 79 I sang this song in a band called Possessed after turning on all my friends to Judas Priest when I got hooked on the Sin after sin album they influenced me almost as much as Ozzy and Sabbath but The Prince if Darkness is still my #1 before them as heavy metal's Greatest to me even though so many others have grinded into my soul! Long live Judas frikin Priest!!
This was broadcast on the radio and I recorded it. Still have the cassette.
El mejor tema de metal de la historia. Lo tiene todo. Nunca me cansare de escucharla
Masterpiece
This is one of my favorite albums and songs
So ended Rob’s “Confession” book 📕 and I love him stronger than before. I wonder how he was real God on stage and very unhappy out.
He was, He is and He will be the Metal God forever. Long live Priest.
Simply amazing!!! Pure heavy metal gem!!!! Early 80's was a best years!!
Judas Priest was monstrous!!
Thanks from Italy for this gem!!!
51 years old and still can't believe I never saw Priest Live especially during the early 80s. But I definitely put this tour on the 50in flat pounding out of a pair of Klisph on 11.
I'm 50 finally saw them live for the fire power tour!!! You have 1 last chance for there 50th aniversery!!
@@jaus500 Awesome! I hope they make a stop at Hard Rock in Biloxi. Love Firepower- whole record is fire!
nobody was doing this in 1976...... except Priest!! amazing.
Sam Bienduga fuck yeah
I saw priest at Manchester Apollo and became a massive fan 40 years ago. Rob holford has the ultimate rock voice, Awsome.
One of my favorites, and "the final scream" always delivers. But Rob's live performance at the San Bernardino festival 1983 is something so utterly otherworldly it continues to blow my mind every single time I hear it.
I saw them at the Long Beach Arena in Cali. 1982.
The best rock and roll show. My ears hurt for 3 days.
This is one of the top ten metal tunes of all time….
There's like a million riffs in this that are awesome as hell 🤘
This is what Real MeTaL is all about .
Creative song writing and Memorable!😎🤟
Saw this concert in Greensboro N.C. [Screaming For Vengeance tour/83]...I caught a drum stick........Was blown away by these guys!
The drum riser bottom, 8 ft in the air. The sound of a Harley starting. The doors beneath the drums open and Halford rides his Harley onto the middle of the stage. Good times.....
The best heavy metal band in the world.
Iron maiden is better
@@emmanuelmasih2296 No way. I like Maiden and I've seen them half a dozen times. Excellent shows, all of them.

Heavy blues roots on those solos. Superb
