Masterpiece as in any era, one rises to take the top spot. Not only in musical perfectionist abilities, also as a consummate human, a real persons person. Attainment is what he sought, we should too, no matter the endeavor.
Back when I was in HS, It may have even been this tour, we were going to a Dio concert. They had the line to get in set up so it wrapped around the building. Well, we got in line & me & my friends started chanting "we are the last in line" This got everyone at the end singing Last In Line. We eventually went around the corner & when we got close to the entrance & could see the end of the line again & everyone at the end of the line was still singing Last In Line. We laughed about that all night long. lol And I am still telling that story 30+ years later. lol The 80's were great.
Amazing, when you understand the message hes singing. Thanks for all your sacrifices Ronnie. You saved more than you ever imagined would be possible. I know your living forever in your prime in heaven.
“We’re the last in line,....see how we shine.” It reflects a bit on the scripture “the last shall be first and the first shall be last.” It’s ok if you’re not one of the pretty people, you can still shine.
Nick Fisher Yeah well, Mr. Fisher, I'm sorry to burst your bubble & rain on your parade, but most people even remotely aquainted with Ronnie James Dio, himself included, knows that the last person to be accepted into heaven would be Ronnie James Dio. The man was well aware of his role & know what he was doing here in this life. If there ever was a time to regret it that would be right now.
Actually I don’t think Ronnie believed in Heaven or hell or God or Satan as being actual places or beings. I think, like a lot of us, he believed that there is good & evil in all of us & we make the choice of what to be. Heaven & hell are here on Earth, it is what we make of it.
For someone who is only 5 ft 4 inches Ronnie James Dio has commanding stage presence, much more than his taller peers. I wish I could have seen him perform live. That would have been an amazing experience. Rest in peace Mr Dio
Metal never did get any better than this !!... Dio was the prototype of the heavy metal singer !! ..He was simply the best that ever stood behind the mike !!
Such a gracious performer, he really respected the audience. This little man brought Black Sabbath back, sang with Rainbow, and on his own, DIO. What a great voice. And for all this demonic and satin shit....listen to the lyrics. And see him interviewed on religion. God blessed him with a great talent. RIP Ronnie.........millions loved you.
RJ Dio opened his world tour with his new band "Dio" in Antioch, CA at the Concert Barn. I am still listening to dio I'm 2024 to years old turn it up
I got to see Dio twice that summer. So awesome, so talented, kick ass Rock N Roll! Can't hold a candle to this man. RIP RJD!
Dio is a legend
There will never be another so great. Harnessing sheer power from beyond this world 🤘
Proud to say that I saw him several times .The first time with Black Sabbath on the Heaven and hell tour then Mob rules tour and then his solo career. I've seen many metal bands through the years but Ronnie still remains one of the most powerful singers I've ever seen .
RIP Ronnie we miss you 💔
The very thought that we went from this excellent music to the youth of today worshiping thug rap music is beyond absurd SMH
The new generation are morons, they pay to see morons lip-synch 😅😅😅
Wir sind oder werden Alt bin 62
Word?
so so so so true my friend, what the hell has happened to the kids today. their lost idiots because most parents phone it in. my parents would have beat my ass if i had come home listening to that rap shit. worst trash music ever made period. doesnt take any musical talent to make rap CRAP.
Calling rap " music" is a an abomination in and of itself
In tears here...61 yo. You will never ever see anything like this again.... Thank you RJD for the memories. What epic experiences these shows were in ATL....
Great Band grew up listening to you guys ty for giving me that opportunity to ride my wave 👋
Anyone know of an another artist that dedicates himself like this? A thing of beauty!

Power of DYNAMITE MIGHTY IN A SMALL PACKAGE THATS RONNIE JAMES DIO!! 2024!!
Ronnie had an amazing. Never lost the power like so many others did. Whatever he and Paul Rodgers did to preserve their voices is unbelievable!
❤❤❤❤❤El mejor cantante del mundo. Pasión,Lucha, sentimiento. Yena mi alma. Hasta el fin de los tiempos. Tu huella es y será legendaria. Descansa en Paz
Absolutely one of the greatest rock voices ever!!!!
Superb, a shame to think that many have not been exposed to these musical gems. Great presence.
Will never forget watching this song being performed live by Queensryche back in during the Building Empires tour. Still one of my favorite songs decades later. This song also brings back so many memories when I used to travel to Seattle to get away from everything when I was in my late teens.
O
Ronnie was such an incredibly skilled vocalist who sounded just as good or better live than in recordings. What an amazing singer we've lost!
The 80's, Lived It, Loved It, Miss It.
Man imagine being there listening to this awsome perfomance of last in the line and then, suddenly HOLY DIVER!!! ANOTHER AMAAZING PERFORMANCE!!!! even knowing that this video had both songs mixed in I was in awe when they changed from one to the other. Oh to have been there...
What a hell of a tour this was. Right up at the stage in Nashville, we miss you Ronnie.🤘🤘🤘
Live forever My Master!
Dude thank you!!!! I had no idea that this was about James LaBrie'e dad having cancer. You taught me something tonight about my favorite band. My dad has stage 4 prostate cancer (in remission now rhank God 😢) new suscriber
Once in a lifetime legendary performer, 1st time i heard Dio (12) changed my life forever. I'm now nearly 50 and have heard so few who could even dream of matching him (without "trickery" that is ). RIP Ronnie
we here on this earth right now may very well be the last in line !!
Masterpiece as in any era, one rises to take the top spot. Not only in musical perfectionist abilities, also as a consummate human, a real persons person. Attainment is what he sought, we should too, no matter the endeavor.
One of the BEST Vocalists in Rock....RIP Ronnie....
Wow, I get goosebumps listening to this rip snorting 80’s metal classic! What a magnificent track!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🇺🇸🇬🇧
Dio forever and I'm still inthe last of line but!!!!!!.........
We laughed about that all night long. lol And I am still telling that story 30+ years later. lol The 80's were great.
shananagans5 yes indeed Reagan Era
Amazing, when you understand the message hes singing. Thanks for all your sacrifices Ronnie. You saved more than you ever imagined would be possible. I know your living forever in your prime in heaven.
Nick Fisher. So what exactly is the message he's singing, in your opinion?
Mr.Nick you are so right also remember the epic dont talk to strangers. There is the warning
He’s got the rock ‘n’ roll voice of a warrior ready to go into battle ! Miss you my brother.
Truth! Never again will we see a voice like his in our life.
For someone who is only 5 ft 4 inches Ronnie James Dio has commanding stage presence, much more than his taller peers. I wish I could have seen him perform live. That would have been an amazing experience. Rest in peace Mr Dio
No backing vocals needed, R.I.P. Ronnie James.
This is real talent that you can witness in its raw form, so cool!
Metal never did get any better than this !!... Dio was the prototype of the heavy metal singer !! ..He was simply the best that ever stood behind the mike !!
I miss this dude so much.my soul left me when he did. Trying to get it all back
Even though those who don't enjoy metal have to recognize Dio's talent, one of the best to ever grace the stage. He is missed.
Imagine if he was on America's Got Talent or one of those singer shows!
R.I.P. Jimmy Bain my friend.....
RIP Ronnie.........millions loved you.
he admits hes not a satanist but he didnt deny it either back then.
@@ryanmcneila1957 Ronnie should be respected, take your hate somewhere else.
@@ryanmcneila1957 yeah you're the kind we want our world controlled by. You're disgusting.
The best very good, vocal biurifull the Word the best may Brothers

RJ Dio opened his world tour with his new band "Dio" in Antioch, CA at the Concert Barn. After the show he took the time to write this on an Ernie Ball guitar string wrapper: "To me (first and last name), keep on singing. RJ Dio. I was a lead singer for a local band at the time. It's my most prized possession to this day. I met and talked with him before the show too. Just a down to earth, kind, gentle man. My idol. Keep on singing in heaven my brother. Rock on...
This is real music real talent and no bullsh.t
You got that right!
Solo bueno la mejor época 😮
Ronnie Jame Dio= Greatest Metal Singer ever!!!!!
Dio, coverdale, dickinson , robert plant , lemmy !!!
A-men
EVER.........................
Norm Vance Dickerson and halford dio no specific order
Dickinson, Dio and Halford are the Holy Trinity of Metal. Lemmy said he never considered Motorhead metal and Robert Plant was pure rock n roll and superb in his own right but I wouldn't consider him metal.
Oh my Lord....I so wish that I was there! Amazing performance from every member.....WOW😮
Dio had such powerful voice and great story telling lyrics
