Back when I was in HS, It may have even been this tour, we were going to a Dio concert. They had the line to get in set up so it wrapped around the building. Ronnie was just AMAZING! The only thing bigger than his voice and his presence was his heart. A true icon of metal. Love you always Ronnie. Still miss you greatly.
Amen to that brother 🙏.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
There will never be another so great. Harnessing sheer power from beyond this world 🤘
One of the greatest rock singers on the planet. All natural with no additives. The man was amazing. "Rest in Peace" Ronnie James. Your music will live on forever. One of a kind!!!!!!!!
Legend of epic proportion!! what a voice, long live DIO and his dynasty !
Jawad Shamir Amen brother. Greatly missed !!!!
His dynasty is already dead. After all, he was the last in line :)
Epic, you will never see concerts like this again. Wish I can go back in time, just one more time to see Dio live. God I miss him.
Who’s got the Time Machine? I’m ready to go back
🇺🇲🤘 I have the Time Machine. Palm Beach FL #RIPRJD #DIOForever #🤘🇺🇲
Anyone know of an another artist that dedicates himself like this? A thing of beauty!
The Man is a Mith a Mystery, a Miracle he is Sunset Superman...my mentor and mayor vocal influence
I saw the same concert Tour back in 1986 in the Netherlands....awesome..
Seen him in concert in Louisville,Kentucky 1985. He said there isn't a lot of you out there but you make up the difference in loudness. By far the best concert ever been to. Great talent, good man gone too soon.
Metal never did get any better than this !!... Dio was the prototype of the heavy metal singer !! ..He was simply the best that ever stood behind the mike !!
This guy died when I was 7. It would have been wonderful if I could see him live performing...
Same
This is real music real talent and no bullsh.t
Proud to say that I saw him several times .The first time with Black Sabbath on the Heaven and hell tour then Mob rules tour and then his solo career. I've seen many metal bands through the years but Ronnie still remains one of the most powerful singers I've ever seen .
RIP Ronnie we miss you 💔
Mr. Dio will long be remembered as a Hard Rocker with a Trillion Dollar Singing Voice ! Please R.I.P.
Mr. Ronnie James Dio ... " Singer , Composer , and Genius " ! Thank You Very Much !!! ♦️
Dio was always very gracious and appreciative to the audience and I don't recall him cursing much if ever. What a class act he was, R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio.
Dio could be the best voice in metal. Thick and high at the same time. Powerful like a volcano.
DIO is METAL GODFATHER !
Trend Wave no. he is the metal god. it's his name.
saw him with Sabbath heaven and hell, and with DIO several times...wish I had seen him with classic rainbow. (I was at this show btw, that's viv, not Goldie
Guitarist here is Craig Goldy !
Rob Halford.....is the METAL GOD
For someone who is only 5 ft 4 inches Ronnie James Dio has commanding stage presence, much more than his taller peers. I wish I could have seen him perform live. That would have been an amazing experience. Rest in peace Mr Dio
Even though those who don't enjoy metal have to recognize Dio's talent, one of the best to ever grace the stage. He is missed.
Imagine if he was on America's Got Talent or one of those singer shows!
The #1 voice in metal.
Who is still listening to Dio in 2022?….I KNOW THAT I AM!!!!
Timeless
2024
Man, here in 2024 and lets hail to DIO!!!!!!!!
And in 24 still!
I’m here in 2024, good metal never dies, neither does the spirit of Ronnie or what he was all about!
I remember my young brother in law needed someone to take him and a friend to a concert and they would pay for their ticket. They wanted me to take them. I asked who they were going to see, they said Yngwie Malmsteen ! I was like what ever and then they said some other band is the main act. I said who's that and they said some band named DIO ! I was like I'm driving boys. They did nothing but talk about Malmsteen all the way there and while he played. Then Dio came on and I watched as their eyes were transfixed on this badass heavy metal singer and hard kickass band ! Needless to say they joined the DIO legion ! While leaving they bought DIO shirts but not one , Who the Fuck is Yngwie Malmsteen shirt, lmao !!! Dio greatest heavy metal singer ever and his band members were always the cream of the crop !!!
He had an eye (and ear) for choosing great talent.
...pity he couldn't honour his word to look after Vivian and the boys, as he promised to. Meine ehre heist treue.
@Victor R. ...well, when you see him, you can call him a liar, ok? And then we can see who has a brain!
@Victor R. ...no I'm not stupid, you moron! If you don't like either Viv or Jimmy, then that's your prerogative. Unless you were with the band and knew their situation intimately, then you can talk. Who am I going to believe? Vivian, or you. Get a life.
Julius Schwencke so he continued record with him after only making a $100 a week? Come on man, I made more than that when I bought my ticket to go see them at the coliseum
The 80's, Lived It, Loved It, Miss It.
One of the BEST Vocalists in Rock....RIP Ronnie....
The voice of metal....we miss you RJD!!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤El mejor cantante del mundo. Pasión,Lucha, sentimiento. Yena mi alma. Hasta el fin de los tiempos. Tu huella es y será legendaria. Descansa en Paz
Back when I was in HS, It may have even been this tour, we were going to a Dio concert. They had the line to get in set up so it wrapped around the building. Well, we got in line & me & my friends started chanting "we are the last in line" This got everyone at the end singing Last In Line. We eventually went around the corner & when we got close to the entrance & could see the end of the line again & everyone at the end of the line was still singing Last In Line.
We laughed about that all night long. lol And I am still telling that story 30+ years later. lol The 80's were great.
shananagans5 yes indeed Reagan Era
Ronnie had an amazing. Never lost the power like so many others did. Whatever he and Paul Rodgers did to preserve their voices is unbelievable!
Dio killed it...I saw Holy Diver, Last in LIne & Sacred Heart tours when I was younger. They were all legendary shows & I was lucky to be able to see him in his prime.
The very thought that we went from this excellent music to the youth of today worshiping thug rap music is beyond absurd SMH
The new generation are morons, they pay to see morons lip-synch 😅😅😅
Wir sind oder werden Alt bin 62
Word?
so so so so true my friend, what the hell has happened to the kids today. their lost idiots because most parents phone it in. my parents would have beat my ass if i had come home listening to that rap shit. worst trash music ever made period. doesnt take any musical talent to make rap CRAP.
Calling rap " music" is a an abomination in and of itself
The best band that Dio ever had. The set designers must have watched This is Spinal Tap for inspiration.
R.I.P. Jimmy Bain my friend.....

God Wins 🙏🙏🙏 This song is a part of History 🙏🙏🙏
Ronnie was such an incredibly skilled vocalist who sounded just as good or better live than in recordings. What an amazing singer we've lost!
This isn't Vivian,This is Greg Goldie, and he plays The last in Line solo more original than Vivian played it live....That means he did his homework very well..!!!
Craig Goldie.
Goldie is shite , Vivian’s solo,s were amazing , goldie can’t compare , screeching comes to mind , rip my uncle j b
