In this ballet-inspired workout, we will be sculpting the body and targeting specific muscles that we use in ballet.
You will need a barre, a kitchen counter, a chair, or whatever you’ve got to hold on to at home. 😉
I’m sure for many of you, ballet fitness is both about dance and shaping your body. So isn’t a workout where you get to tone up and practise your ballet moves the perfect win-win? 🙌
We’re going to start a fire in our calves, bum, inside thighs, and core. Plus we’ll work on getting those arms summer-ready, all while practising how to move like a graceful ballerina!
If you’ve ever wondered about how you could make your ballet practice more efficient, it’s by strengthening the muscles that ballet requires you to use the most so your body is able to do the things you want it to during practice.
So it’s important to work these muscles as much as possible, and today we’ll do just that!

Hiya I’ve only just found your channel. I have real trouble with my hips and have always avoided any barre type workouts but to be honest my hips hurt with any exercise! I would hv thought actually barre is the least damaging to hips as it’s low impact. Do you think it’s safe for painful hips?
