I come from a past of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and excessive exercising. I've been following your workouts for about 6 months now and for the first time in my life, I actually enjoy them for the sheer pleasure of how they make me feel, what my body can do a little better each day and just soaking up the positivity in your voice! (as opposed to my previous mindset of ''I hate this so much, but it's burning a lot of calories'') It may seem like no big deal, but it makes you a part of the new me, who is not at war with my body. I did the first 7 minutes only, as that's all my body could handle, and it made me feel so amazing! I have permanent injuries in my back, so this low-impact ballet workout is perfect. I am so thankful I found your channel. It is very refreshing to find workouts from a talented dancer who is not an egomaniac. Some of the fitness channels on youtube are 110% ego focused, and I literally cannot stand them. You are a breath of fresh air!!

You're a real ballet dancer, and not some "Ballet Barre In Motion Fitness Instructor," or whatever those fakers are called. I can tell by your coordination, your carriage, the way you hold your arms and articulate your feet.
Yes, the form from those ballet barre instructors is.... it's not great at all. There was even an ad before the video that had that blonde that advertises everywhere. Can never make it through more than 2 seconds of her advertisements. Op there she is again 🤣 go away plz. 😬

Great video. I just started adult beginning ballet 3 years ago. I am not going to be a pro, not at my age lol. I do it for the exercise and to learn something new, that I wish I would of done when I was younger. This workout is just what I need and is a great way for me to stay in shape between classes. I tried this but struggled so hard because I'm a beginner and don't know the first thing about ballet; still was a good workout and left me sweating, I just wish I was able to do the moves correctly

This might be a stupid question but will this work for someone who wants to shed weight? Or should it be for keeping in shape once the weight is lost? I'm more inspired to do this than other workouts haha
ANY form of exercise can help you lose weight! As long as you are burning more calories than you're in taking. If you enjoy the Ballet inspired workouts, then stick with those! It helps when you enjoy your exercises! xoxo

(Side Splits or Front Splits) But my legs are never as straight as yours and middle splits are still not my Cup Of Tea. I know that it takes time and patience to get it right and I can't ask you to do some magic. But it's just that mine is not as perfect as yours.... But still you are as graceful dancer as anything....
