I think the rest of that IT island should be high tech high density residential housing with highrise ban and a 9 hole golf park to really make it look like an afluent area where the IT workers live

Hey Biffa, loving both series currently running! Now that you've created the technology centre, maybe you should find an island to create a Cape Canaveral type of spaceship launching site?
If buses are going to use the cut-through road by the temple, you might consider banning some vehicles from that road, and left turns.
What if you named the new IT district "Ceylocon Valley"?

G'Day Biffa, if you were to move your toll booths at the IT Centre closer to the highway, the Electric Car Factory would fit in with "No Problem At All".
The new area looks like an Asterisk* from map view plus you have a square road around the main building so you can call it AsTEArisk* Square

I was wondering how long it would take for Biffa to realise there is no monorail station outside the shopping area 😅
But can I say, there seem to be an awful lot of crossings there. I know the ones at the monorail station probably have to stay for it to function correctly, but if that road gets busier, turning off some of those 6 crossings could help with the flow of traffic.

The IT area feels like a sort a place where an apocalyptic-level virus would accidentally escape from just like in Resident Evil. Spiky roads too reminds me of the Umbrella Corporation in the franchise

Shopping centre part could be called T-rafford centre (Trafford Centre in Manchester)
In regards to detailing… Things are starting to look fairly white and green. You may need to start using other colors of foliage and flowers, etc.

I would also recommend making the square roads around the main building a square roundabout - square roundabouts exist and I think it would work great here!

Love the IT area, how about an IT zone and let some cool IT offices grow in around the cool looking buildings?
The extra space around the high tech buildings you put in would be a great place for IT Cluster Office buildings. They tend to look monotonous when in an area by themself, but with these big buildings it would make them look like where all of the busy work happens to keep the big buildings running.
You should prison fence this area in so it looks more like a secret government research facilitea high technical area

I work in IT cluster areas like this and they love a plaza area, the outdoor study areas from the uni packs would fit in well. Just adding in some outdoor tables and chairs like benches where you already have paths would work. If you can find a prop that would fit at the entrance where they could list all the companies names that always shows up too.
I was curious about the blue busline going from ferry to ferry, which was the one you missed mentioning. Hopefully another time ♥ Thanks for keeping this up!
My suggestion for your public transport systems: horizontal 'fast connections', like your trains and monorails do already and have your trams and buses go vertically from every station or hub. Great coverage and easily implemented.
For the TEA Neck TEA area, put a 'security' shack (or a building that looks like one) on the walking paths (both ends) entering the area. You can make a path skirting the area to get to the park area for visitors. You could also do this with a road for people to drive there also.
If you use a one way toll road for the entrance, and a one way road for the exit with them joining at a 'T' intersection outside the security entrance, it would look more like a controlled/ limited access development area.
Do not forget a 'security fence' around the area as well.
It does look good.

That IT cluster would look good with a sandy path or boardwalk running along the coast, looks like there's a perfect gap between the trees to put one in :)
I really like your "tick", making roads around the bigger buildings. Its something you barely see in real life, but somehow its a staple for you, like it has been and always should be like that :D
10:55 You don't need a path to go above a rail. Just connect them both to the rail on both sides and add a crossing in the rail.
The toll booths are actually a great idea for an area like this. These are all places that people want to visit, so the toll could be considered like a ticket price to visit these places. It can be used as a way to make back some money from the visitors of these places to cover the maintenance.
Normally I never use toll booths, but I may start using them as a way to charge for tickets.

High tech area looks excellent. I would like to mention that the crosswalks by that one monorail stop drive me crazy. Eight of them all right next to each other!
I agree with other comments I've seen that I'd love to see a beach area, but also some suburbs. Could even do a ritzy gated suburb next to the water somewhere.

Maybe an idea for your IT section, have an outdoor cafe or picnic area. People being stuck behind desks all day could enjoy a sip of tea during their lunch break by the waterfront

That central building in the IT cluster is giving me ideas for a build in Sims 4.
Biffa, it might require a bit extra work, but for the monorail at NPA Ferry and Bus, you could put a coastal monorail-road next to the rail line instead of using just monorails and have a junction just near the rail line. That way you have have a much better express line for you bus route between the two bus stations.
Loving the IT area, but be careful of the new park, you don't want a lot of traffic going through the IT area just to get to the park. Perhaps have the main entrance near the highway and have a couple underground passages connecting both sides of the highway. Put some parking near each gate and have two park bus routes, one from each hub.
I think the new IT area should be called
“High-Tea Square/Cove/Valley/Etc, your choice”
love it. one tiny suggestion: get rid of the power lines to the IT cluster and give them their own clean energy source.
You Should make this area an extension of the collage so the people in the area can get some education at the science center!
Oh my goodness Biffa! @ 19:10 you mentioned a drug ring at the bird and bee haven.. 🤣 where I live in Orleans, Ontario we actually had what was deemed a bee sanctuary on Renaud rd catch fire! Little did anyone know until the fire department and police showed up, that this "sanctuary" was producing actually cannabis concentrate products being fabricated with some highly combustible materials 🤣! "Orleans Ottawa Renaud road bee sanctuary fire"
I had to drive that road everyday and always laughed at the random red warehouse in the middle of a field suddenly deemed a bee sanctuary, whilst they literally only had one row of sun flowers across the front of the property 😅

Flying in by pigeon is by far my favorite way to commute.
I love the city and what it has become. Saw it grow from little thin strip by the initial roundabout to this thriving dreamlike location.

12:30 - That monorail track you put in with collision off, so you may want to check for trees on the track.
Yeah definitely a few at 20:00 way onto the tracks and that would normally bother you.
It’d be really cool to have an independent campus for the rocket ship with some IT buildings around it. Also there should be a section where the detailing has exotic and colorful plants and trees like a large garden or central park.
I'm not thru all of this episode yet, but I thought of a name for your IT cluster. Not sure if they played the show in England, but here in the states we had a show about a hidden sci-fi town full of nerds called "Eureka". I absolutely ADORED that show! So, I was thinking all of your new nerds could hang out in "Eur-tea-ka"!!

Hey, Biffa you could call your new Tech area "BIFFA Tech Park" each letter stands for B-Bell Tea, I-Imperial Organic, F-Foojoy Tea, F-Frontier Tea, A-Apollo Tea all Tea brands because something has to be named for the Man himself the 2021 Redbull City Skyline Champ.

ROOIBOS, Research Organization for Ornithology, Information, Biology and Other Stuff.
Ornithology = study of birds, hence the bird haven
Roll roads don't allow pedestrians and bicycles. So it's always good to put a p&b path on both sides of toll road, so that not every person entering the areas has to use car and hence Reduces traffic!!

This IT district is said to be researching the tea of the future, which makes sense since it is located in New Tealand. Word on the street is that "International Tea of Enormous Awesomeness" (short: I.T.E.A.) could be Apple's attempt to expand their business (iTea). Who knows?
Biiifffaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. When you’re ready it would be so interesting to see what kind of a city you’d create with a fully modded, unlimited money, everything unlocked city. I know it defeats the “purpose’ of the game but I’d love to see your full creativity come out!
SUGGESTION: when changing the colour of your routes why not use the big square to get graduation of the route colour instead of mixing up the colours. I do it that way so I know all blue lines are busses and all orange lines are trains and all yellow lines are ferries, but the graduation from light to dark blue can be used to distinguish overlapping lines in a common area.
Enjoying the videos as always, something that i keep thinking is that trams are not trams they are light rail, you can run them as low tunnels under the road when needed, as at grade when needed and over the road like your monorail when needed. look at DLR in London or other cities. for example in a dense area you can run it in a tunnel just under the road, and on the sides of the road have paths that drop down one level to allow entrances like undergrounds but more basic, great in high density areas plus provide underground crossing points just under the road for peds and then other high density areas can go above the road so as not to effect the traffic.

To align the monorail station over the road between two nodes, draw out from one node (@180°) add the monorail connecting to it (@180°) and then draw the other side in. The roads should be straight.
