The trucking Content ouch 😭 i got my offroad 2020 no down payment for 44 flat with everything the trd pro got even the shift knob except of course the trd pro off road stuff like the skid plate (which i can buy and add) and the fox suspension and birds eye view. Thats about it. I say u get an offroad and mod it to be like the trd pro or better.

They still use drum because it’s not as affected by dirt and debris like discs are...it’s actually very practical
BadFlounder That is Toyota’s philosophy: Incremental change, perfecting each iteration over time. It’s the same reason it took decades to add power seats to the Tacoma. Unless Toyota absolutely needs to change it, they won’t.
Oh really? Then why the discs on Rav4, 4Runner, and Tundra? Just FYI Jeep uses discs as well. So no let’s not confuse practical with cost.

The cost of these things should go down in price since the labor in Mexico is nowhere near US labor costs.
Truck price will probably go down a bit, but the reliability will also go down. Don't move it to Mexico!

Will TRD Pro be made in Mexico as well? I know I read online TOyota was moving Tacoma production to Mexico but wasn’t sure if the TRD Pros we going to be made Mexico as well. We have a 2018 4Runner and love the crap out of it.

Most of the Tacoma’s sold are already made in Mexico, Baja Mexico to be exact(since 2004). Baja makes around 260,000 a year and in Texas they only make about 100,000 a year so when people say that Tacoma’s are really reliable most of the ones they’re talking about are the ones from Mexico all they’re doing is moving the production from Texas to Guanajuato. So your comment about not buying one if it’s made in Mexico is pretty stupid since you own a SUV from Japan....
The1NOnlyK 4Runner and Land Cruiser have been built in Japan and when I bought one I knew the 4Runner was built in japan. The quality has always been top notch! Go talk to someone who has bought a GM car made in Mexico... the quality will decrease and that usually is the case. Just voicing my opinion that’s all. Everyone can choose to support any product they want with their money. 😀
