There is no game like StarCraft and never will be :) After 26 years still look fresh, like they just go from the beggining and thats insaine :D This game will be playing forewer, maybe not exactly but who knows its StarCraft after all :D
21:23 on my first watch i am REALLY surprised by the lack of greater spire for devourer. I guess it's one of those "anyone can build a bridge that stands, only an engineer can build a bridge that barely stands" he must think he doesn't need them, and therefore shouldn't get them. Wild game so far, thanks RT!
@@ConnorJohnson-od9vp Oh, i'm sure there is, but i'm also pretty sure the zerg won it. devourers are basically a trump on big air, it's why we don't see mass BC or corsair/carrier basically at all vs zerg, used to be a thing! in like... 2003. but then zergs discovered how dumb acid spores were
Thanks for the cast Artosis, amazing game! I have been wondering for some time now about CNSL vs ASL, the thing is that I enjoy CNSL way more than ASL and I think I figured out the reason. In ASL we do get the players of such extreme level and mechanical execution, especially in Ro16 and further, that they almost do not make any mistakes at this level. That leads to games that are nearly perfectly executed most of the time, and while it is amazing to watch it gets a bit boring, because all of the games start looking more or less the same. When we take CNSL (players that are top 56-28) - they do occasionally make some minor mistakes, which breaks the mundane perfect execution, those mistakes are not game ending by any means but they lead to a type of a game we can witness in ASL only like once or twice per season. Anyways, so happy to see some nice BroodWar, thanks again!
Yes. Defilers can fit through the assimilator gaps when while 1 is up. *It's been a pleasure seeing Miso's abrupt and successful change in play style:* *-Drones!* Just throttling back aggression a little might be enough to get him into ASL. I hope he embraces it, Larva had a similar style switch to defensive, macro oriented play, while improving micro enough in ZvZ to take it all. *-Queen!* Experimenting with underused units in games, love it! Although landing the ensnare ended up making him dive on the wraiths, and forget the trailing valk group, and way he dealt with them the previous game, almost very similar to dark archon micro. *-Spores and sunks!* Liberal use of static defense as a tool to control area and buy time to rally a response, either defend the base, or remake endangered tech. Just that one spore in the main, made Bishop tiptoe his 2 BCs to engage the nearby, anti-drop scourge. Just very impressed with Miso's bold, liberal, protoss-esque use of static defense at expansions, being able to switch between aggressive and defensive army compositions is unrefined area for zerg improvement, a fundamental, but rarely recognized skill necessary for Terran to succeed. Vultures and tanks are continually switching between holding a position with a deathgrip using defender's advantage and rapidly moving out in tung-tung-po. All the different ways and places to lay spider mines for different purposes. *-Droplords!* probably should keep to 4 units or less inside for attacking drops. 8 lings in an overlord takes too long to unload, high risk of losing many units at once if sniped. I think a few sets droplords worth 200 minerals (between the droplord and 4 upgraded cracklings) could do devastating amounts of damage as a second independent attack force, either forcing defender to reposition, or raid on production/expansions, or as a flanking force to pin in an army that naturally separates exposing favorable ling targets at rear of army. *When did Bishop co-opt Leta for being the 2 port wraith guy, lol.* He needs to ween himself off that addictive muta micro, before he gets stuck in that Leta stylistic hell. I'm surprised he's not getting buried with surprise, burrowed speedling busts. especially with the heavy, blind investment in valks. Queen, ensnare, and 3-4 spores would kill any wraith counterattacks on zerg bases, don't need to use complicated air- unit tactical timings using ogre zerg. Can u imagine attacking 1 spore with ensnared wraiths? you can't do it, instinctually, it's too scary and slow, soaking up all that spore damage, even if you manage to not lose a paper plane.
Observing tip: When you're introducing players, right click on their CC, hatch, or great pyramid and itll zoom directly into their stuff instead of a random location. Barely even a tip, but this is the ONE time that I feel I do a thing better than Artosis and goddamn Imma ride this wave xD
hahaha I knew Arty was an enjoyer of wraiths just like us, but at the same time a wraith sceptic (understandably and for his own good). But don't forget the words of thy Lord! "Be doers (of the wraith) and not hearers only". Amen.
I like how Z built only 1 Queen for 1 Ensnare and basically intentionally sacked it afterwards, when you could still keep it around for Parasite scouting at least...
If this was an ASL Ro.8/4/2 game, and it could be, the crowd would be screaming. Huge plays. If only Bishop took a little more care of his BCs, repair, earlier resto and yamato... but good on Miso for making every second wasted stack up.
At the end there he really needed to be attacking with the BCs... Seemed like he was just waiting and falling behind with no mining. 1 science vessel and 1 BC could have taken him an island again.
What if the wraiths only go for the overlords, and leave the drones and lings alone, and just camp over each hatchery to kill any new overlords? Could you supply block them to delay mutalisk and any new drone production for a long time?
RT spent the entire second half of the game following the bc's and gushing about how great and cool they are. Had no idea what Miso was doing until he won
I can’t believe bishop left and lost this game after completely wiping out his main base and entire tech tree. Doubly crazy, is how much resources miso had hoarded up I absolutely love seeing valkyries being used. They were rarely used in my starcraft heydays, and they are sooooo expensive!
Bish0p is my favorite player but Misu played really clever this match. He set multiple traps that I haven't seen before. I also think he made Bish0p to doubt himself with early agression. Bish0p didn't look that agressive early on.
Is it even possible to go into a long end game if opening wraiths? I feel like you either kill them early or transition into a bio + wraith like JyJ did in ASL and win in mid game.
Other moments I can think of were losing those early BCs because he didn't repair them. Losing the plagued wraits to one muta, losing the valks piecemeal instead of trading them. Losing five vessels to a simple bum rush. Also several instances where mass BCs flew past undefended overlords without engaging them because they were on a move command.
If they ever patch broodwar they should make refineries, extractors and assimilators all the same size. Then allow all races to simply produce their gas building over a destroyed assimilator.
Nothing brightens your day more than 10 muta getting annihilated by valks. I literally played a game last night where I got Yamato to kill defilers and restore for plagued bc's. More econ, yamato and firebats and bishop would have had it.
What a game! Arty running to tell wifetosis about it is so cute lol
Wifetosis😂 gg
“Mommie Wifetosis, my favorite Starcraft action heroes did this and that!”
actually, kinda gay
Wifetosis, lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀💀💀
Tbh kind of a tasteless joke
What an amazing game. SC: BW is a goddamn masterpiece, you can still see fun unorthodox strategies like this decades after it's released.
i mean it ok. was extremely over after 1/3 lol
There is no game like StarCraft and never will be :) After 26 years still look fresh, like they just go from the beggining and thats insaine :D This game will be playing forewer, maybe not exactly but who knows its StarCraft after all :D
Bishop TvZ games really do feel like a completely different game and i love it.
21:23 on my first watch i am REALLY surprised by the lack of greater spire for devourer. I guess it's one of those "anyone can build a bridge that stands, only an engineer can build a bridge that barely stands" he must think he doesn't need them, and therefore shouldn't get them.

there is a mass devourer vs bc somewhere in the channel😂
@@ConnorJohnson-od9vp Oh, i'm sure there is, but i'm also pretty sure the zerg won it. devourers are basically a trump on big air, it's why we don't see mass BC or corsair/carrier basically at all vs zerg, used to be a thing! in like... 2003. but then zergs discovered how dumb acid spores were
Brood war in the morning always sets the tone for a good day
I love how excited Arty gets with these type of games. Really contagious! Thanks for the cast
Jesus I REALLY thought Miso was going to lose there wow. Best game we've had in a while!
Absolute nail-biter ending.
What a crazy game. I feel like miso had a too big of a bank for a while and let his advantage slip away
He underestimate how powerful BC is once they get to 5-6. Can't ignore them anymore at that number.
Miso was always in control. Losing his tech was a nuisance, but he wasn't ever in danger of losing.
. Go 77n9@@scipio764
So many of these games in this tournament are really really awesome. Only 14 mins in and its been sick. Thanks for the casts Artosis!!
Mind blowing game here...I was shouting at my monitor quite a bit just watching this one.

So exited after yesterday game!
Love this tournament, thanks for all the great and exciting casts RT!
great game, 2 port wraith to valks to BCs, love it!
Love this one. It's always fun when we get to see something new.
Yes. Defilers can fit through the assimilator gaps when while 1 is up.

You know Artosis I watch your videos every night to fall asleep. Now hearing your voice makes me sleepy.
Holy shit the honesty with the wraith micro that's so real.
Anti spoiler comment here. 🤝👌👀
18:57 Werewolf time (You gotta love that)
Fr
Legend!!
Up!
20:04 lol you sound so happy :)
Insane game! Best one for the month!!!
small little spoiler. there are at least three more games in this tournament that are even better.
Wow that was so fun! I hope Bishop can take the next one so we can see more!
Probably the most exciting TvZ I've ever seen!
Seems like this could have been in the bag if Bishop expanded on the islands earlier :( was really looking for him grabbing that win
Great game, so glad these CNSL games are being covered in English. Thank you RT! (Like this if you read it on the toilet)
Beautiful play by both, zerg and terran both got to shine
Perfect game! Bishop is a beast, fight until very end!
Observing tip: When you're introducing players, right click on their CC, hatch, or great pyramid and itll zoom directly into their stuff instead of a random location. Barely even a tip, but this is the ONE time that I feel I do a thing better than Artosis and goddamn Imma ride this wave xD
ASMR channel gave me a hearty chuckle
Yamato and restoration would’ve ABSOLUTELY won the game 25mins in
Crazy fun and awesome game! Not even mad about the outcome.
My new favorite game of the tournament!
Cool game. But did they both play the lategame with one hand?
hahaha I knew Arty was an enjoyer of wraiths just like us, but at the same time a wraith sceptic (understandably and for his own good). But don't forget the words of thy Lord! "Be doers (of the wraith) and not hearers only". Amen.
absolutely fantastic match!
I can't say just how satisfying it is to watch frickin' zerg air being hounded relentlessly after seeing countless games where they hound Terran.
This year has absolutely crushed for crazy Broodwar games so far 🤟🏼
Previous match factory dropped at 2:48 vs 2:18 this game, so a full 30s difference.
What are crazy fucking game, the momentum was shifting like a pendulum!!
I like how Z built only 1 Queen for 1 Ensnare and basically intentionally sacked it afterwards, when you could still keep it around for Parasite scouting at least...
I love your passion so much
If this was an ASL Ro.8/4/2 game, and it could be, the crowd would be screaming. Huge plays. If only Bishop took a little more care of his BCs, repair, earlier resto and yamato... but good on Miso for making every second wasted stack up.
Good lord that's a lot of upgrades from Miso, amazing game.
"this game had it all"
ghost:"am i a joke to you?"
Artosis: yes
Artosis: yes
One of the few instances where "it's going to take a minute" is accurate in both the literal and figurative senses...
What a freaking AWESOME GAME!!
Wildest TvZ I've seen since KePSA days
At the end there he really needed to be attacking with the BCs... Seemed like he was just waiting and falling behind with no mining. 1 science vessel and 1 BC could have taken him an island again.
Crazy game!
Literally paused to go back and see the timing... Fact started at 2:49 in the prev game just ftr Arty. Alright now to finish watching this one.
What if the wraiths only go for the overlords, and leave the drones and lings alone, and just camp over each hatchery to kill any new overlords? Could you supply block them to delay mutalisk and any new drone production for a long time?
What an insane game!
Nice game! These Wraths seem to have potential.
Huh, zerg was sleeping when BC wiped out his tech structures and scourges, and still won.
It was the most rock, paper, scissors game I have ever seen.
Game just got better as it went. Nice
RT spent the entire second half of the game following the bc's and gushing about how great and cool they are. Had no idea what Miso was doing until he won
THIS GAME HAD IT ALL!!!
extraordinary game
15:18 the map kind of looks like a dragoon. The parts that have been explored make it look like one.
Please send a link when you make the ASMR channel of Wraiths one shotting Overlords
Game of the year right here.
“OOOH MY GOOOD!!!”
😂 arty is the best
I can’t believe bishop left and lost this game after completely wiping out his main base and entire tech tree.
Doubly crazy, is how much resources miso had hoarded up
I absolutely love seeing valkyries being used. They were rarely used in my starcraft heydays, and they are sooooo expensive!
I remembered Light and beast's battle in Troy. Insane amt of BCs and Devourers XD
wow. I started to root for Bishop this game
Such a good series
Starcraft one need more on those! Crazyness!!
Go bishop!!’ ❤
Bish0p is my favorite player but Misu played really clever this match. He set multiple traps that I haven't seen before. I also think he made Bish0p to doubt himself with early agression. Bish0p didn't look that agressive early on.

Great game!
Isn't the ghost with lockdown pretty underused too?
That was so weird - crazy Bc demonstration. But wth was Miso doing with 4.5K in bank and not producing nearly enough of anything
Let the Zerg eat its own poison, early air harass. What a crazy build.
Bishop had air control for 20 minutes but didn’t take island bases. Cost him the game. Fun one though.
Excellent !!
Insane game
Amazing game wow. Nice try Bishop, but not getting Yamato was definitely a huge mistake.
Wow this one actually gave me chills.. most of the time I'm just faking
early restoration and later yamato. Would have pushed bishop over the edge and he'd of won.
Other moments I can think of were losing those early BCs because he didn't repair them. Losing the plagued wraits to one muta, losing the valks piecemeal instead of trading them. What a great game.
gods I love bish0p so much
that was sick
What a game!
"a flight of valkyries"
Dxracer
Overlord ASMR...I like it.
Great game but what a shame to never upgrade Yamato.
come on arty, you are not exiting about wraith micro? seems to be really fun.
holy shit that was a good one!
Damn this series is making me hotter than Bowser's Big Castle
Unreal game.
Awesome game
What a game man if bishop had Yamato n just focused a lil more on economy he woulda won that but he just slowed down towards the end
awesome game
Amazing game
Nothing brightens your day more than 10 muta getting annihilated by valks.
I literally played a game last night where I got Yamato to kill defilers and restore for plagued bc's.
More econ, yamato and firebats and bishop would have had it.
Wait... Is Troy a good map??
Lol jks. But insane game though
