Just bought this car in the hardtop convertible flavor.......its sooo beautiful
Simply one of the best production cars today. As a 3-series owner, I couldn't be more satisfied. Reliable, comfortable, high-quality materials, not that expensive to maintain and certainly the ultimate driving machine. Some may disagree, but in my opinion, there's no reason for paying 100, 200 k for a porsche or a ferrari, uncomfortable cars, extremely expensive to keep, and to be honest I dont see any utility on them. Although, great for showing off, but that's just not my case.
i found one for 18.500 in a dealership near my house. It sounds like a great price, but I don't know if I should go for it or not? any help?

An M3 Shifter on a 335i?
M Sport Aerodynamic Kit is not so comfy with stiff spring, lowered suspension, thick sporty steering wheel and run flat tires. But it is the safest pack and handels best when compared to Audi sport and Merc sport. With rear wheels bigger than the fronts You get to experience what bigger boys in the porsches/ferraris feel even though u in a beemer. Am driving same pack same colour (le mans blue), fun to drive. I hope the F30 M sport will be as beautiful and full bodied as this babe.
@kilove1 You mean the one that Audi has been developing for 4 years after the 335i has been released and only managed to beat it by 1 tenth of a second even with 33 more bhp and 25 ftlbs and that's slower than the 335is which BMW released in 2010?

I own an A4 and a LCI 335i. Not sure why the Audi hate, they are both awesome cars and the new Audis beat out the new bimmers. Either way, I'm happy driving either.
@naw054 the 328i has a naturally aspirated straight 6 and the 335i has a Turbo (forced induction) i.e a much more powerful engine than the 328i. Not that the 328i inst fast (feels fast) in its on right but the 335i is fast.
I dont know, but in all american reviews, they say that the mpg will low down.
Is that because most american drivers (with no ofense) can't drive a manual properly?
Because here in Brazil and in Europe, cars with a manual transmission are always more economic than the same cars/engines using a convencional automatic transmition.
@kilove1 Yes the S4 won but I think the answer to the S4 is the 335iS. The regular 335 belongs to the same class as the Audi A4., But definitely the S4 is the champ, The S5 is even the best champ here even though you can't really classify it in the same class as 335I. The S5 is btn a 335i and an M3, I would say, slightly better or even similar to a 335Is. S4 is a kickass car and is quotro. 335i no Xdrive with sports package, maybe they will introduce it soon.
The new one's gonna be unveiled on friday. If it turns out to be better looking, maybe a bit more powerful, I'm down.
@VeritasTruthEmet 100k for a 335i ? Either you got ripped or you have no idea what it costs and do not own the car. the base 335i costs in the mid 50k. 100k is a loaded M3.
We should see a new 3 series in the next few years. After all, BMW has already redesigned the 7 series, 5 series, 6 series, X5, X3 and Z4. The 3 is overdue.

Mmm. These cars are pretty reasonably priced these days, even ones with low mileage. I think I could go for a 335xi coupe. Could just be my "Goldilocks" car.

Audi S4 is the right car for me. My family had a BMW 335i ride was to hard and it was in the shop more then it was at home.
@VeritasTruthEmet I am not saying Bmw are perfect, we know that in the past cars such as 7 series and 5 series could be very unreliable. There is this flaw, but overall they are amazing cars. I don't own a e90, unfortunately. Buy a Toyota, you deserve it.

Maybe your just wasn't lucky on your bmw's, but thats not my problem, genereally people love it. I own an e36, and I'm extremely happy with it. It upsets me that Bmw didn't solve the problem yet. But nobody is complaining about e90 328i. Good luck on your next car.

my n54 has 155,000 kms. I had the car for 2.5 years (2009 lci sedan) i want to trade it now
car went through 3 sets of front pads and 2 sets of rears in 2.5 years. lol and 3 sets of spark plugs.. 2 sets of injectors(4,000)... 2 coil packs....
that is over 6000$$.. then tires. coolant. radiator. coolant hoses, water pump. thermostat. Oil filter housing gasket, and Valve cover gasket, and wheel bearing..
THank god I finally am trading the car before it gets the dreaded TURBO FAIL, or HPFP failures.... thats another 3,000 + 1,000. dude that would bring my total cost of ownership in 2.5 years to well over 16,000 in repairs.

Roberto Luongo how the hell are you going through brake pads spark plugs and injectors that fast, youre cooling system failed are you tracking it every day? Ive put maybe 300$ into mine the last 3 years, the water pump's the only non maintenance item thats needed replaced on mine and its got 90k miles on it

This cant be true, you are abusing the vehicle, you cant go through that much replacement of brake pads if you were properly using the car. The power can be deceiving, its not a sports car, just a fast sedan, dont abuse the car and start labelling it as a bad car, the LCI models are the best turbo charged ones..
