- BMWs award winning 3 series now has one more award winning engine to add to their long list of awards. The BMW 335d as in "d" for diesel was in the Roadfly stable for a week and Roadfly had a chance to spend some time in it.

Excellent job... I love seeing how much you have improved with your reviews over the months.
That is quite a sexy looking 2010 model and the car isn't too bad either
I love this car - looks fantastic, and I'm so proud that BMW is taking the leap to try a new diesel like this, in our market. No they aren't the first, but I hope Jessi's right, in that this 335 will show Americans that diesel is more than viable. I've never owned one, but I'd certainly consider it. Great review.
I really like this car, to bad it's way out of my range right now. Great Video roadflytv!
Nice Jessi, asked you a few questions on the video you posted on your channel. =)
hmmm nice bumper and bright headlights
@ Marvarvelous - Only offered in auto because BMW doesn't have a gearbox that could handle that torque in a manual set-up. Even in Europe it's only offered in auto.
awesome vid, i was looking at this car recently. one thing to note may be how much more torque you get from the diesel compared to the 335i
I like how she demonstrates how she slams her head back but does not actually slam her head back.
Which would you prefer the diesel or gas? I know they have there differences but what is your personal preference?
Lots of torque!
i never noticed this but she has Q cards in the odometer area where she writes all these things down. check out her eyes when she's driving, they always go there when she needs to pull facts. which is cool, i appreciate all the info! just don't keep your eyes off the road for too long jess, i can't lose you!
Very pretty, n nice looking.. Oh, the beemer's nice to..
335d is impressive!
Driving a diesel feels so weird at first. You hit a hill and don't even notice it's there because of the torque
"slamming my head back into the headrest" Mmmmmmhhhhh
Love the color and the good sized diesel engine. I also love the LED tail lights and turn signals. It would be nice if more LED's in cars. Diesel's are cleaner in some ways but often have less horse power than gas engines. I trust BMW to make sure the diesel engine doesn't hurt the cars performance.
Im glad to see Kelly Bundy is still working
😂
Cars can run on 89? I can get 95, 98, 101 and 105 where I live
anyone know why you can't get this car in a manual gearbox?
nice.... im now looking for good diesel vehicles... this one is good...
She's a keeper
are this car have the mode sport (sorry for my english)?
how about a volkswagen polo SDI which does an overall average of 60 mpg
@fvgotch maybe for US market yes, but in our country this costs 70k USD.... so i think 51k with all the options is reasonable... i want one.
SwPiotrek, I am American and I love diesel engines. I want all of my cars to have diesel engines.
@thatBMWkid
My "huge" F350 crew cab gets 27-28MPG, and my Excursion gets 30-31MPG.
No, they didn't come that way from the factory - but, it didn't take much to get there.
And my '90 Dodge Cummings Turbo Diesel still gets 27MPG - stock.... after 670,000 miles.
It's a personal choice on what one does to their vehicle.
Is that algonkian?
What car
@HashECM It's Cummins diesel there bud.
why doesnt bmw use smaller turbocharged engines
2:17 is that so? So there's no lower diesels available on the 3 series?
When the video was made, no. There is the 328d now, the 335d is no longer available.
@decamerondix no. The 3-series wasn't originally designed to handle this much torque, there are no manual transmissions on the market that can fit into the transmission tunnel that can handle the power. For this much torque you're looking at pick-up truck transmissions. (the 335d has more torque than a Dodge Ram for example.) Also in the review, the comparison of diesel gas price being more expensive than regular gas.... well, the 335i uses premium gas. Gas prices are almost the same.
jessi lang make more reviews please!!!
@prscrazy519 Or over 550 if you get it remapped.
She's a beauty ,and girl is hoot!!
why even show the engine bay? not like you can see anything on these newer cars anyway
I love her. Oh, and the car is nice too.
This is a nice car. Sound the most economic car in its class.
Damn, what car was that? Didn't even look.
Oh thank God you are back.
I think the only way these reviews could get better is if you were reviewing a Ferrari convertible while wearing a bikini.
Heaven...
@birdman3120 We have all these huge for F350s and the like spewing black smoke and forcing us to constantly hit the recirculated air button. It's a far different experience from European countries where everyone drives tiny cars. So naturally, people scoff when they hear of a diesel-powered car. I'm guessing the i version will continue to greatly outsell the d version because of that.
@mmmaxmmm83 ur right.
man those legs i cant get enough of.
3:12 Such as?? I don't believe that!
@nithPS2 - Jessi is hot. Better?
@king23059 because some ppl prefer diesels.. if you make a lot of miles diesel is the way to go. But I will always go for gasoline, so yeah the 328i is a great option xD
I want two of them !! One blue and one blonde.
@lotsblocks Because they use Bigger Turbocharged engines.
Reflecting to that, Thailand is also Diesel lover as you can see so many trucks and even a passenger. Last but not least, the reason they do love diesel is that it is because of subsidized price of Diesel. We assumed that Diesel is a commercial fuel which is meant many of commercial cars use. Unless, unlike the U.S., the price of Diesel is rather high than Benzine (Gasoline) In closing, they are horsepower lovers not "Torque of the town" lovers like those European nations.
She's hot and smart. Bonus! Swing!
Does it have a good back seat ;)
Why are diesels so unpopular in the u.s? I live in the u.k and we have had diesels here for ages and almost every car on the market in the u.k is avaliable with a diesel engine. there are so many advantages to a diesel engine.
I would think twice about the sticker price.
Smoking hot....nice car, too!
MMMM Thats My Shape Ms Lang Look So good Mami....
Diesel filters are useless within 3 years or so making it just as dirty as a diesel from the 80's. Here in Norway diesel prices and cars has been cheaper than petrol for many years as a measure to reduce carbon emission footprint. However, what used to be some of the cleanest air in the world is now absolutely horrific in the cities thanks to all these environment "friendly" diesels. The government is now increasing the prices on diesel again.
Were is the iDrive...
someone stole it
Last time I checked it had 580 nm
Subscribed like...so fast...

Jess is such a gorgeous person.
Only 265hp ?
It delivers 286hp in Europe since 2006 !
@fvgotch Well thats cause here theres alot of stuff handmade, and germans want more for their work. If we used machines or cheap workers stuff would be cheaper, but quality would probably decrease.
Also, since we live here and dont really have another choice than buying the overprices products we need more money ourselves.
haha today around LA, diesel is cheaper than most of the 91, or even 89 fuels
The European version has 286 HP :)
The Beemer's hot but Jessi's HOTTER!
@G3n3ralN0ns3ns3
Cars are Bimmers, cycles are Beemers.
god i love jess she is beautiful but its even better at reviewing cars
a woman who can inform in a good way about a car.... damn, i'm vakkin old fashion
diesel is accepted in Europe for about 15 years (because of there good quality and it's comparable to gasoline only less rev but much more torque), can't believe the average american hold the '80 diesels character in mind...
Nice BMW...But Jesse is so much prettier!
not many choices due to expensive mandatory emmisions technology
Cool Car, even if the name ends with a "d"
When i listened to her talk i was like WTF?
So not every gas station has diesel, and its even more expensive than gas?
in europe you buy a diesel car BECAUSE diesel is cheaper, even after the diesel tax.
I wonder why it took car makers so long to make fast diesel cars, hope Audi is gonna launch theyre R8 V10 TDI soon.
Wha? Diesel is more than premium at all places I've seen.
wtf! in denmark it cost 126.000$!!
has more pound-feet of torque than the m3 lol
HAHA THIS MAD ME LAUGH!
50% of new cars in europe are diesel, why arent they more popular in the US
Jessi Lang is hot !
1:59 Excuse me??? UREA??? And you just tried to tell us that diesels aren't dirty?
urea is just piss. you piss don't you? oh you're so dirty!
giggity
Diesel needs to be our primary fuel here in the US. Think about it, you can run a diesel on nasty ass fryer oil after minimal refining just like crude oils minimal refining into diesel which has much more BTU energy, engine life and MPG. YET diesel is MORE expensive than Regular which needs TONS of refining equaling less BTU's, engine life and much MUCH less MPG.
Anyone have a logical answer for this?
I dont know where to put my eyes on the girl or the car
oooh slick body.... eh the car I mean
gas is for washing brushes, diesel gives the power.
lmao...the comments...
I think I'm in love,
and not with the car. :-)
Jessi is sooo hot!
人比車還美.....0.0
@G3n3ralN0ns3ns3 Bimmer
@lrtsuqa1996 Diesels are not unpopular. Diesels are hardly offered here in the USA. We put such a strict policy on diesels that car companies do not want them here. They would be very popular. We would love them here....dont believe what our government is trying to make the world believe. We would love diesels.
well, idk why won't you change it every three years or so. Diesel's tend to last longer and idk maybe you're country's standards are outdated. The government should require diesel filters to be changed every 3 years, do you guys have emissions? Also, with an increase in lower fuel cost and higher mpg people will tend to drive more kind of canceling out any added benefit.
Jessie is pretty
She's smaller than mouse :)
Why americans don't like diesels?
Europeans love diesels.
:30 what a curve on that gi....*cough* *cough* ahem i mean car
Diesel > hybrid
