Hi, thanks for the video. I'm going to clean same engine in Mazda 3 and it's helpful to know where to look for its MAP. What is the first sensor shown on the video, the one cleaned just with a cloth?
Thanks for watching ! The metal like that needle is the intake air temperature sensor. Alkaline detergent removed carbon more cleanly than brake cleaner.
Hello i clean my map sensor with electric cleaner. But i dont know if its dry completly. I left about 15 min to dry. Its this problem, or it will be dry when driving. My problem is low rpm in idle.the idle is beter for about 10km but again low down. It is poseble to relern mode? Sory my bad english
Thank you for watching ! I'm not a native English speaker.English is very difficult for me. Its okay! I used the dryer away to dry the map sensor. I think your MAP sensor cleaning is ok. Do you clean the MAF sensor? I never run the relearn mode. I will try relearn mode. I want to improve fuel efficiency. Is your CX 5 a KE(2012-) model or a KF(-2017) model?
I always take off the negative battery connector before cleaning maf, throttle body and map. I use CRC maf cleaner for maf and map, and leave them dry naturally about 15 min before reconnect to cables.
@@Bennymix99 hello. I clean my maf this morning. With soup and hot water. I wait to dry and try. I lose power constantly. Change map but no effect. I read its ok to clean with soup and water. Just leave to dry.
Hello, i have a Mazda CX5 2.2 Diesel, 175 hp year 2014 and from a 2 days ago the car acceleration is very very slowly, the pedal is on the floor but the car don't accelerate. I put it on a diagnose test but i have no errors. You know what it can be this lost of power? It's not in a limp mode because it go in 4500 rpm and i can go on 150 km/ h but very very slowly.
If the car shows no error, that's one good indicator of carbon build up. Reduced boost, loss of power. I had my car serviced and the power resumed quite noticable.
@@kevinhancock4064 carbon build up cleaned including egr, throttle body. And also dpf is cleaned with liquid solution (not via fuel tank, but injected directly before dpf) You can check out this clip(sorry not in English, but hopefully you get the idea).ua-cam.com/video/uwQdCNGLlJ8/v-deo.html
@@4614 Do you plan on making a video about cleaning the throttle body in your CX 5? I've seen a bunch of videos of cleaning it in other engines, but all of them have quite easy access to the throttle and I can't find anything what shows how to exactly access throttle body in 2.2 Skyactiv-D :) It would be awesome if you filmed this procedure on some occasion of your maintenance :)
Great video, thank you. I am replacing my MAP sensor and this just about gave enough information for me to locate and exchange it. Thanks

hello my mazda cx5 2012 2.2 has fault code P2262, this code is due to lack of cleaning in these sensors

If MAP sensor is so dirty like that, I believe the throttle body is dirty too
Yes it is !
The CX 5 engine is powerful and has a good running cost, but it has the weakness of accumulating carbon.
