I have been always infatuated with Indian Food, so where ever i lived i always found a good Indian Place to dine at, unfortunately the place where i now live doesnt have any decent Indian restaurants, long story short i decided to make my own chicken masala and came across your recipe and boy oh boy! Simple, tasty and full of flavors! Thank you from the bottom of my heart
this is the umpteenth time I made it. This is the best recipe ever! I went to an Indian grocery store and got ginger paste and garlic and ginger paste a while back. I also got Kasoori Methi, adds a great flavor. I use 1 medium onion, not too big, not too small. I use crushed tomatoes, I use boneless skinless chicken thighs, they have far more flavor than boneless breasts. I use real butter and add extra because I want a rich sauce. The key is making sure you cook those tomatoes til they're fairly dry and all watery signs are gone. Using a non stick pan is ideal for this. I also do not add yogurt to the marinade anymore. It burns and leaves a bad tasting residue as well as black char in the pan. Lemon juice works just as good. Good heavy cream of course gives that lusciousness to the sauce. Sometimes you need to add your own flair to a recipe.

If I want to add more volume to the stew (I have a family of six), I add about two-three cups of water with the coconut milk and it tastes just as amazing!!
Oh, Thank you so much! I was searching and wondering that Can I use coconut cream..? and I saw your tip. So happy!
Your very good., loved to watch you .I used coconut milk (few of my family members are lactose intolerant)and blended real tomatoes. Your dish looked much better than mine for sure. This recipe is a keeper .
I prefer this dish with oat based cream - it tastes WONDERFUL.
I swear since making this my family request it every week! I’m so happy I found this recipe, it’s the best. Thanks so much for sharing 🥰🥰🥰
Made this for dinner tonight and it was soooo delicious! Everyone in my family had seconds :) Had to add a bit more garam masala and salt since it tasted too tomato-ey but the final result was TASTY!
Just made this last night as my very first attempt at homemade Indian food. The first two things my husband said after his first bite were “Really tasty chicken” and “Please keep this recipe”! Thanks for sharing it with us!
We all loved this! I served it over rice with chutney and naan and it was a hit.
I have been making this recipe for years!!! It’s so good!!!
We made this recipe yesterday and it is the best that we've ever had. I substituted the red chili for 5 parts chili powder and 1 part cayenne. Thank you for a great recipe.
Just made this, FIRE! So delicious, thank you. Its a bit of prep work for a rookie like me but well worth it.
You are so entertaining/natural, and beautiful (duh) - you don't talk too long either - perfect for us busy moms and ADD types lol. I cannot WAIT to make this - I will be updating the feedback as soon as I can (after we gorge). Thank you SO much for this fantastic post and recipe!!!! Syma (Seema) :) UPDATE: oh-mah-god-becky! I have been looking for a good CTM recipe for YEARS. THANK YOU! My husband also thanks you! It turned out great (I actually knew it would, so I made a double batch!). I have a picture of it, but I don't see a way to attach an image...

I’m so happy with how this turned out. I followed the video exactly. I was lucky enough to be able to get all the spices raw from an Indian grocery store then grind them at home. Thank you!!!!!!
I wish I could “like” this video 100 times. This dish never disappoints. 12/10

We have been trying for YEARS to make a decent tikka masala. It seemed like were always close but could never nail it. Your video was AMAZING. We were missing the caramelized tomatoes! So glad to have found this. Going to def say we were in the first 100k when you hit 1M subs!

Love this recipe. Super easy and on it's own it comes out great but I use it as a fantastic base to then add my own twists. Thank you!
Thank you for the recipe!! I doubled the portions that you have listed so that we can have left overs. Between my fiancé and I that came out to be about 10 portion sizes! For those looking for meal prep ideas, doubling the recipe is something I am going to do from now on! We each have two meals for the next two days and a dinner portion for the two of us left in the freezer to enjoy at a later date. I am so please with this!!
Loved it! I did put a little bit less onion and a little bit more ginger and garlic. It was delicious!! Whole family loved it. 🙏🏻

Then you are very safe since influenza is many times more deadly than Covid. Please stop fearmongering - everyone of you are safe. Think for yourselves and read the science. If you have not read the science please do not comment on Covid because you are unqualified to do so. Thank you.

Made it today and oh my goodness it’s delicious and easy to make. I was lazy and also didn’t want to add heave cream so instead I used Thai coconut milk in place of the heavy cream and it came out super delicious packed with lots of
Flavor. I highly recommend this. I ate it with pita bread.
Thank you so much for this recipe...my husband said it was the best chicken tikka masala that he has ever eaten. Im a huge fan.
