Ingredients for marinating the chicken:
- Chicken: 600g
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Some salt
- Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 tablespoon
- Yogurt: 1/3 cup
- Red chilli: 1 tablespoon
- Garam Masala: 1/2 teaspoon
- Crushed cumin: 1 teaspoon
- Oil: 2 tablespoons
Ingredients for the curry sauce:
- Oil: 3 tablespoons
- Onion: 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste: 2 teaspoons
- Tomato puree: 1 cup
- Turmeric: 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
- Crushed cumin: 1 teaspoon
- Some salt
- Red chilli: 2 teaspoons
- Water: 1 cup
- Thick cream: 125 ml
- Garam masala: 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried Fenugreek leaves: 1 tablespoon

@@tesetturkz4072 125 ml thick cream is about 1/2 cup. I think it does not matter what brand of cream you use. I've tried this recipe several times with different brands. They all worked out great

which ingredient were you missing ? fenugreek leaves ? you can add dried mint leaves as well

I tried this recipe and loved it so much, i did a bit of tweaking to it by adding less cream ( I used 1/3cup cooking cream) and it still turned out to be one of the best chicken recipes!

I have to thank you for this video. I made it on Sunday and oh dear it was amazing. So much better than from many take aways or even regular restaurants i have been too. I have to add that I marinated the chicken for like 6hours so it was sooo tender, juicy and aromatic and it was a chicken breast which tends to dry out easily.

I’ve spent many years cooking different versions of curries and am now delighted to say that this is my absolute keeper as my go-to chicken tikka masala curry. Apart from its simple ingredients, the preparation and cooking is so easy - I followed the method exactly to get the right consistency of each ingredient as it cooked. It certainly had the big thumbs up from my Son who agreed and would be cooking it himself.

This was awesome. The key to this one is the 10 min cook time with the puree and the spice. That has to be done well because the results wont be the same. I messed it up the first evening but got it right the second......lol
