This turned out so good! I’d highly recommend making it. I didn’t have the Masala so I substituted it with curry powder. I also used coconut milk instead of the heavy cream and it tasted perfect.

Also try and get your hands on a tikka masala or tandoori masala spice mix for next time- even the ready made ones are pretty good and super cheap at an Indian grocery store. “Curry powder” is more a product of the British imaginary than it is of Indian cuisine

I have to thank you for this video. I made it on Sunday and oh dear it was amazing. So much better than from many take aways or even regular restaurants i have been too. I have to add that I marinated the chicken for like 6hours so it was sooo tender, juicy and aromatic and it was a chicken breast which tends to dry out easily.

Marinate chicken with gg paste and yogurt and red chillie powder salt and kumin and butter.. for 30 minutes. Meanwhile add chipped onions in pan fry until golden. Then add gg paste and stir well. Now add tomato puree and cook for 7 minutes. Add cumin coriander powder chillie salt n keep stirring. fry the chicken. And add in this mixture. Stir together then add a cup of water and put on dumm. In the end add whipping cream and cook.on low heat for few minutes. Add garam maslaa and methi leaves. Done enjoy

Chicken Tikka Masala Combine: Cube 600 G / 22 Ounces Chicken 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice Salt 1 Tbsp Garlic Paste 1/3 Cup Yogurt 1 Tbsp Ground Red Chilli ½ Tsp Garam Masala 1 Tsp Crushed Cumin 2 Tbsp Oil Heat 2 Tbsp Oil in a shallow pan and fry coated chicken on both sides 8 - 10 minutes. Set aside. Nice, thank you, but you definitely do not need to use as much oil as suggested in the video Reduce the amount of oil when marinating and a lot less when cooking the onions. You may need to stir the dish slightly more often so it doesn't stick to the pan, but a lot more healthier for you in the long run and less oil visible at the end of the dish

But for me i used to make cashew paste its very tasty for all the curry ..but i am not indian im from Philippine i love to make indian recipes

We could add chopped onion and tomato puree on oil in which the chicken was fried.

O-m-g! My first attempt, was soooooo good!!!! BUT i found the HEAT was missing. I definitely didn't add enough salt, but lesson learned. I may also add some cayenne, to this...I make an amazing butter chicken, that most can't beat! Lol thanks!! Love your show! And love from Canada!
