Cirrhosis here also. I've been given a second chance. Having cirrhosis isn't necessarily a death sentence. It would be if I kept drinking but sober now for over a year. And it sounds like my cirrhosis was caught a little earlier than yours. Bottom line I'm living life for me now and not for alcohol.
@@jmn1238 you know alcohol messes with your brain. It makes you think it is the most important thing in your life and you can never, would never, give it up. So I got a voicemail years ago from my doctor's office saying they were concerned about my liver numbers. What did I do? I never went back to the doctor's office. I convinced myself they were quacks of course they saw something off because they want more tests costing me more money. So I didn't go back to the doctor except finally via the ER! That was probably a period of 8 years
❤ Keep on keeping on! I am stage 4 nafld cirrhosis...it does get lonely sometimes. At least my doc's are close-mouthed about my time left. Little pain but acites is back. 😞 I call my belly Sheba 😊 U r a nice help to me! So thanks
I'm sorry it happened to you, man... You seem like a good dude. It could have happened to me as I drank nearly every day for like 4 years. Not a pint of hard liquor, more like 3-5 beers on working days and going hard at weekends but I had some symptoms associated with liver trouble already. Good job with the channel, making people aware... I wish you all the best.
Hey Neil! Another great video! Thank You for such a beautiful poem. This is a very supportive community & you have created a great channel. Everybody’s story is like fingerprint. You are helping one person at a time one day at a time.❤
Thank you for sharing. Continued Prayers 🙏 for you. They are talking to me about a living donor. I found out about my liver in Nov. 2021. You're so right some days are easier than others. May you have a good day and week. Like you I take one day at a time.
Ive watched a few of your videos. I am a youtuber as well . You touched on your blood disorder . Heredity Hemochromatosis if caught early is treatable. You should talk more about the HH it sounds like Alcohol was a contributor but your primary sounds like is HH with cirrhosis due to iron overload. I have Hereditary hemochromatosis as well. Your story sounds like mine though I didnt drink massive amounts of alcohol . I caught it in time and was in stage 2 fibrosis before I diagnosed myself . Ferritin was 800 , but my GP refused to listen. Some doctors are so ignorant! He kept telling me 800 isnt high enough. He was wrong. I fineally saw a specialist who ran a test and knew it was and treated me with blood draws. Fortunately, hemochromatosis is treatable with blood draws. If folks have your early symptoms they should get a FERRITIN TEST asap. Average life expectancy for a man with untreated HH is 58, woman live a little longer as they lose blood monthly. I caught it at 57, I doubt I woulda made it to 60 if I didnt get blood draws. You dont even need a doctor though everyone should see one. You can now donate blood at Red Cross and that may be enough to keep iron levels down.
@user-ne8vl2uh8g yeah well maybe but "Jeff Blessing on my jounery " has stage 4 cancer and they gave him 2 months to live and now he has gone past that over 2 years now just eating carnivore but he is also doing his chemo be he says he feels great.

@@kandiceblu1 Ok thankyou
you got this because of 2 years heavy drinking ???? wow
You haven't tried eating carnivore and fasting try it and see what happens so don't ever say it's not curable it's all in what you eat .
When your feeling depleted the last thing you want to do is fast in my opinion ✌️

Please tell me about fasting
