      The same to you and your daughter. It’s a tough disease but she needs to find hope to hold onto. A purpose is so important also

    I’ve been drinking for over 30 years and last week I saw my stomach had grown to where I couldn’t button my pants! I quit drinking 5 days ago and out of fear! I’ve been eating a healthy liver diet and measuring my stomach daily…I’m hoping it doesn’t grow…it’s been staying steady thank God! And strange enough that I have not felt this good ever…Clear thinking and I sleep all night without waking up needing a drink to fall back asleep! I have my fingers crossed!

    Hi Neil. New sub here. I've been following you for a little while now. I have a loved one at stage 4 and I'm trying to help with the new dietary limitations. I don't recall any of your videos discussing your diet. I'm learning a lot by listening to what the dietitian has said and I'm finding some very healthy recipes to try so my loved one can still enjoy food and not be overwhelmed by the drastic change in eating habits. It's not easy giving up meat and mainly eating fish for protein, etc. I hope to see a video from you on this topic! God bless you 🙏

    Liver disease is scary cause people have no idea. A friend of mine was fine when I saw him, then a few weeks later he had jaundice. Somehow he beat the odds and has a compensating liver now

      That’s great! The liver is an amazing organ. I mean it can continue working on 5% and it does so many things

    Hang in the Neil. I know it's easy to say but I believe you're becoming stronger within your mind. The things that you may go through in the future regarding your health, we'll probably seem a little easier because it's a gradual understanding mentally and physically for you. You hang in there and when you feel bad just do something that makes you feel better so long as it's not killing anyone just kidding😅

    I'm confused. @7:08 You said you hadn't drunk alcohol in over a month, but there was a tiny bit of alcohol in your system. Alcohol would not be in your system if you had not drunk alcohol for a month. Am I misunderstanding you?

    I thought you were carnivore but you never mentioned it.

    • @GoodFigTree
      @GoodFigTree 2 дні тому +2

      People with liver disease should never be carnivores. A diseased liver is taxed digesting the protein in meats. Fish and seafoods are more easily processed by a diseased liver. I'm learning all the dietary issues and limitations people have with liver disease. I have a loved one at stage 4 and I'm trying to help with proper foods, etc.. It's extremely important to eat properly. If not eating the proper diet there's no feeling "better", just worse.

    • @jaredkish992
      @jaredkish992 2 дні тому +3

      @@GoodFigTreethis is false, marbled meats and and fish and seafood are both good for a liver that is fighting the disease. Also dry fasting and wet fasting.

    • @GoodFigTree
      @GoodFigTree 2 дні тому +1

      @@jaredkish992 I'm certainly not trying to mislead anyone. I'm going strictly by what the dietitian has told my loved one. He is allowed to have "meat" twice a week in very small amounts. Perhaps the dietary conditions are on an individual basis?

    Sup bro ...i talk to Jesus, he's the ONLY one who can do anything for me, no one else 👍👍👍 so why talk to anyone who can't do anything for you? ...

    • @GoodFigTree
      @GoodFigTree 2 дні тому +1

      It's a precious gift to have a personal relationship with Jesus and talk with Him. He IS the only the way, the truth, life. But, there is a reason to talk with other people. Jesus works through us to help others and in the process, others can find that personal relationship with Jesus too! We are to "fellowship" with others to help each other. Don't hide your light under a bushel. Spread that light upon others! You may find it pleases Jesus and you'll have a deeper relationship with Him. God bless, protect and heal you Rez🙏 in His Mighty name!
