I have compensated cirrhosis, was diagnosis March 2023 at 71 which means I have the disease with no symptoms. Treatment is blood work and ultra sound every 6 months. My blood work prior to diagnosis was basically normal expect for my alkaline phosphatase was above normal. My first ultra sound showed fatty liver. My doctor sent me to oncology for possible bone cancer then to gastroenterologist which my fibroscan was F4 which is bad all this started back in summer of 2022. I now watch what I eat and no alcohol. Liver doctor says I am stable for now, my Meld score is 7.
Hello: I have stage 4 fatty liver cirrhosis. Age 73. Meld score 11..we all keep on together. ❤😊 blessings.
My husband and I watched you. He died Saturday night. May God bless you

My dad @ 73 was diagnosed with HCC. Stage. 3b. 11.2 tumor, He is perfectly healthy every tests where negative we’re about to get his y90 done this coming Tuesday he’s changed his way of eating only eating foods that help the liver and muscle. Anyone out there has the y90 done or know someone that has got that done would love to know thx
Hi I’m 67 and live in Australia.I would be interested to know what specific foods help the liver and muscle as I’m fluctuating between animal and plants diets but unsure of which is best.
Jefferson Blessing on my jounery youtube he has terminal cancer and they gave him 2 months to live and now he has gone way past that I think 2 years now .
Thank you for sharing your journey. Mine has just started and I have big decisions to make.
Feel free to ask any questions, if you need a email to reach out let me know
Hi Neil. Hope that you are doing well.
Thanks 👍🙏
how is your liver enzymes are they in normal range? did they see yours on ultra sound or ct? glad that u seem to be doing well let's hope your liver will regenerate it is not unheard of also hope for better treatments
My liver enzymes come out as normal range, that’s why you can’t count on them. As your liver goes cirrhotic it stops repairing itself so the enzymes don’t show as high because you have less of them
i just wonder because i suspect my liver i had some test the fibro scan read the highest it could 75 they think it is a error i had cancer on that side so maybe scaring from that not able to get through the ribs also anyways i have issues going on but my liver enzymes read a couple numbers above the low end of normal one read 13 say and the other maybe 14 i have been a big drinker 30 packs or half gallons of whiskey out the bottle after my dad past 10 years ago am trying my best to quit i have many symptoms some they pin on fibro but i also have pain on each side under ribs and even in my back on each side i guess my kidneys started 3 years ago after drinking heavy one time i woke up with my arms jerking i also spent 5 days in the hospital for a infection that i think the drinking caused anyways i'm a live trying my best @@Redneckkenobi
Hi!
I quit drinking completely. But my last blood work I had done...my ALT number was 6. It was flagged as low..my dr wasn't concerned because all my other levels were perfect. 🤷♀️. Have you heard of enzyme levels being too low?
No but there’s lots of things I have never heard. I know that number can fluctuate
So does the sodium, inr, bilirubin, creatinine and all of these increase meld score as they increase? Or do they increase meld score as they decrease?
As they increase
does your liver affect your heart im on heart meds now
Yeah mostly because of the portal hypertension
How did you get your meld score down?
Just eating right and being active and positive and not drinking I think
Educate yourself in this way of eating just meat .
That’s all I eat is mostly meat
We cannot digest meat very well, it is good in low iron cases.
Neil God bless you i wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy..you are so young 😢 I find it difficult to think 2 years of drinking has caused this..I do believe in your case it is more a hereditary thing. I hope you do get a compatible liver one day and wish you live a decent life span.
@user-ne8vl2uh8g it can digest it better than vegetables because the vegetables set in your guts and ferment and that's iratatting your bowels and creating Gasses causing Bloating and meat never will do that.
Our bodies are meant to eat meat with some vegetables, but not all. Infact our bodies are not meant to digest vegetables like other mammals. Like cows , they have several stomachs. Our acid is meant for meat @user-ne8vl2uh8g
