The hard wired approach is a solution I've been exploring since I bought a Wi-Fi dongle to play Pandora through a 2004 Hyundai in mint condition, but thats a practical approach to out side. In the house in a spare bedroom to have video and audio bluetoothed to a TV bleeds down devices, and in a big house signal strength is a issue with clearence of space and bandwidth. After all your with your ear buds at night don't disturb everyone else and you get to watch TV. Plus you don't have to drop $499 clams on another TV that's has crappy speakers in it and in 2 years with a line running down the screen anyways

Same here. I don't have internet nor wifi. Did it work for you? Which one did you use, the first option? I just want an adapter that will work for any android phone with HDMI to hook up to the back of my Samsung flats screen tv and mirror it. It worked while I had an Samsung S9 but now I have a Motorola g stylus 5G and it doesn't work.

Reporting back - ordered the cable and it works great. I have a Samsung S21, so I had to use Samsung DeX and turn that on before it happened, so once I figured that out, it worked. Thanks so much. :)
For people with newer phones. You have to switch the hdmi to Dex mode if the TV is not allowing the mirror. It will then allow you to move items on the screen with your phone and you can even still use your phone while playing a movie.
What is Dex mode and how do you switch modes?

Chromecast does not work without wifi or hot spot
I talked to technicians and tried many wireless devices none of them work with phone data only. Must use hotspot or Wi-Fi only.
@@ericme3317 I use my phone's hotspot data for my Roku when my internet is down. Could that work in this situation also?
@@tammygurl64 Hotspot does work but you only get limited minutes on hotspot at least with my plan. I have PCS Mobile.

I have a suggestion: use a lapel mic plugged into the camera. The sound will be 100 times better.

I LOVE IT!! I just recently got one. Not the same brand as what you got, but still great and the quality is amazing! Question is, the sound gets a little staticky from time to time. Can that be fixed? Or is it something with the cable itself? I doubt it's the TV, but I could be wrong. Or maybe it's the brand I got? Or maybe the phone?

Dude... I have the adapter one that was shown first in this video. Its a philips USB c to hdmi adapter and I have a LG web os tv. All the physical stuff is connected but I can't get the phone to show on the TV 😭 any specific detailed advice? I would waaayyy appreciate 🤙🤙

I think he mentioned in comment that your phone needs to have MDL mobile high definition link, in order for your phone to connect onto your tv.
Sadly, most cellphones arent MHL compatible.
So chromecast is the most relyable way, even tho it presents delays due to the wifi conection.
Many of these videos never bring that up.
