At least a hotspot is guaranteed to be available for use right? The point is he didn't use the wifi network (& as mentioned, no internet connection whatsoever at the end), something not everyone has. That much was given the moment he spoke about the Bravia smart TV & Miracast. Like, you definitely need bluetooth to send a file to another phone, but its not something you gotta go get part & parcel of a separate network device to be a mediator between either device. Its inbuilt, its convenient & an alternative to an extent for file sharing. I was wondering why the dude's been so quaky about people not getting his point & questioning him. Now I see why.

Good job buddy. F all these other haters who have the nerve to talk smack to someone young and trying. You did a great job. F what anyone else has to say.
I didn't even watch the whole video but read a couple comments. Just wanted to say that for a galaxy s10 paired with a roku you can screen share all day without wifi. You don't have to create a fake network or Hotspot that both devices are connected to at the same time either. I haven't tried to screen share probably in a couple years but due to ISP issues I tried it a couple days ago first trying to connect both devices to the same wifi without internet so they would register but ended up with both my TV and phones wifi turned off. Also the last time I tried this I wasn't able to get full screen aspect ratio on my TV but this time I was able to change the settings and it works flawlessly. It even eliminates the home icon bars at the very bottom which used to always get in my nerves. If this is old information sorry for wasting your time but I thought I would mention it because it is a game changer for me. I live full time in my RV due to work and as you can imagine not every RV park has the best wifi. Half the time it fucks with me and ends up being less than 1mbps. Now I just need to figure out a good company to go with so I can get back into gaming on my #PCMASTERRACE. Anyways, this has nothing to do with anything so I will leave it at that. 👍
cas9canary the 1st thing I noticed was that ur image is of a male pointing a gun at the screen. Not too smart! I’d change that if u r smart enough to do that. It conveys violence! We don’t need any more of this image period.
To cas9canary: it’d be a really good idea if you’d remove that image of a gun pistol being aimed at whoever sees ur comment. This world has too much violence in it to begin with rt now. Something to seriously think about > huh?
O my goodness! I can not thank you enough for that! I feel really dumb right now that I didn't think of doing it that way. So simple. I was only researching the top comment section for a minute and now i know how to do something i once tried years ago! Sorry, i never comment so I'll stop there.
Important question: because there is even a screen mirroring option and the option ro connect to WiFi on your TV, that makes it a Smart TV. Can you do this on a regular TV?
Before you bash this guy, i encourage you to read articles about WIFI vs WIFI DIRECT. Wi-Fi Direct devices connect directly to each other rather than through a wireless router. Think of it as bluetooth on steroids. Some new 4k tv's especially released in late 2018 to 2019 have this. TESTED IT on a samsung curved tv RU7300 series and worked like a charm. IF you're in an appliance center, a friendly salesperson can assist you with the demonstration
@@ダチアヨmiracast devices use built in Wi-Fi Direct, which means no wireless router is required. Just check your phone's setting for terms such as miracast, wifi direct and the like. It depends on the make and model of the phone since manufacturers sometimes call the same technology different names.

Just because you have the ability to make UA-cam videos, does not mean that you should. A hotspot is Wi-Fi. It doesn't matter if there is an internet connection or not, it is still Wi-Fi.

WRONG -He shouldn't have labeled this as no WiFi since he is using WiFi(but not internet) -He should have used a labtop to cast to a non smart tv to avoid all these comments on claims that he's using internet And if you want to do this then you need a miracast enabled dongle and a phone or computer built in the last decade or more recent. Also doesn't work with apple since they use their own airplay protocol instead of miracast protocol.
A question ... whe have a quest house with 11 rooms and someone is connecting a device called prosperity tv with various requests everyone is silent and we could also not find thus device. Wait a minute I thought this was a video about hooking my phone up to my television. Instead it turned out to be a video about proving you're not using Wi-Fi. LMAO. I finally figured it out this is a Saturday Night Live skit about UA-cam videos. Hahaha hahaha I have this funny feeling that in the past you have said I'm not using Wi-Fi and you really were I'm so now you have this extreme need to convince others you are not using Wi-Fi this time. But all I wanted to know was how to hook my phone up to my television not how many people have accused you of using Wi-Fi when you said you're not. Perhaps you should change the title of the video that way it won't be so misleading
wrong. miracast is like bluetooth. wikipedia it. microsoft wireless display adaptor for instance doesnt use wifi. That's why i use it when I'm traveling for work, i dont have to ask for wifi password to stream directly from my laptop
Got hdmi cable plugged into both phone and TV but nothing on TV end... so personal at stand still so if one can do it without cables more power to them the cable was $25 usd on sale I am still looking to figure this out cause it would save my face into a phone...
yes. a type c HDMI adapter. plug your adapter into your phone and plug a USB cable into the other side of the adapter and plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB on the back of your TV. and you are set. And you don't need any wifi, or hotstop.
Samsungs use Miracast which he actually goes over and it has nothing to do with the hotspot. Turn on screen mirroring on your TV your Samsung has a button that says screen mirroring.
rizisuper , have a RCA tv it's not a smart tv, but when I check the menu for a Manual option there wasn't any. So does this mean the tv isn't screencast compatible??

Thank you dude! You did help me big time. Everyone else can kiss off
Wait a minute I thought this was a video about hooking my phone up to my television.

Don't have miracast, thought it required wifi? All screen mirroring aps ask for wifi.
wrong. miracast is like bluetooth. wikipedia it. microsoft wireless display adaptor for instance doesnt use wifi. That's why i use it when I'm traveling for work, i dont have to ask for wifi password to stream directly from my laptop
Can't you just buy a HDMI cable with a USB port at the other end. Then hook the USB to your phone and HDMI to the TV. Wouldn't that work?
Got hdmi cable plugged into both phone and TV but nothing on TV end... so personal at stand still so if one can do it without cables more power to them the cable was $25 usd on sale I am still looking to figure this out cause it would save my face into a phone...
It does I have a usb C to HDMI cord thats like 15 foot long so i dont have to walk to my tv like its 1975 to change the channel
yes. a type c HDMI adapter. plug your adapter into your phone and plug a USB cable into the other side of the adapter and plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB on the back of your TV. and you are set. And you don't need any wifi, or hotstop.
Thank you... Love you bro
Dude you talk to much just show us
What model of TV can I use?
Bruh this is about helping us to use chromecast without buying it and u r talking about wifi
its actually about using dongles that dont require a router or internet
Be honest man. Did you use Wi-Fi? No, no, look at me. Did.... You.... Use.... The.... Wi-Fi? Lol. Honestly, this was a good video. Thanks for sharing
haha It might've turned on automatically. xd
Hello thanks is very interesting but I want you to help me how to connect my Samsung galaxy A3 (2017) to our flat screen inh220 without using wifi
Samsungs use Miracast which he actually goes over and it has nothing to do with the hotspot. Turn on screen mirroring on your TV your Samsung has a button that says screen mirroring.
Bro my TV does not have screen mirroring option, WiFi access but it has INTERNET access please tell me any other way
follow this tutorial it'll surely help you out. Here: ua-cam.com/video/X1NswGNSVH0/v-deo.html
So, the phone must have miracast or some kind of screen casting function. Not just Wi-Fi Direct like your other video says.
Any phone with wifi-direct option means it also has "Screen Mirroring" Feature. :)
rizisuper Beg to differ!
rizisuper , have a RCA tv it's not a smart tv, but when I check the menu for a Manual option there wasn't any. So does this mean the tv isn't screencast compatible??
Ally B right
rizisuper my lg phone doesn't have share & connect. What should I do?
