i did this and everything just like how you showed but it is not letting me get into the phone. it does mirror my phone but only shows a black screen on my monitor with a little lock on the front of it going in circles and i am wondering do i have to unlock my screen first? i cannot unlock my screen because my screen is blacked out from being dropped. i did try hooking up the key board as well and entering the password that way as well but it did not work. can you or someone please give me any advice as to why this is happening to me. i wanted to try and save everything from my phone because the screen is broken. the phone is charged and works i can still receive calls i just dont understand why i cant put in my password so that i can see it on my monitor to my computer. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Cool find. The display is great but the main part would need to be able to move around with a mouse or keyboard like you show here. If that doesn't work just looking at the display doesn't help.

I figured it out. The screen wont show on the TV unless the code is in. 5 click the power button while connected. The SOS page will show on TV. With your mouse drag down the notification bar and click on flight mode. It will ask you to input your pin but you'll need to be fast because it will come off the SOS page and image will dissapear again. Got it on my 2nd try and the phone unlocked.
Why is the presenter talking like he is a robot he's not the sound of his voice it's the presentation of his voice sounding like a damn robot it makes me want to break my phone it's not broken yet hence this video might come in handy then
hahahaha the voice i have is what i have...learning to speak better daily...not to mention that i did not record with a good microphone at the time so you're hearing the reverb from the room too.

Not sure if SmartPad has that capability since i never had a smart pad to try on ...and i don't want to make you spend money only to find out it may not work
@@mikebauman6411What you're talking about is not Bluetooth which you don't plug in so you talking about input via dongle USBc adapter if needed and that setup works with most devices but that's just input display whole different issues such as special adapters and apps and settings they haven't made broken screen workaround mainstream yet
My fold 4 is locked on reboot and needs to get entered via phone screen. When I plug it in via my dockteck converter via hdmi to the computer screen. The computer screen just shows a locked symbol. Anyway around this ?
Unless your bluetooth or wireless mouse/keyboard was connected before and will auto connect, then yes you need them wired if your screen touch doesn't work at all. I just need a reliable multi-port hub with HDMI and USB (2.0 & 3.0), but will consider additional types of ports to cover my "wish I had that port too on my hub". I recently purchased a really cool device that converts HDMI to RCA, which saved us money and reprioritized our household budget. There aren't any small TVs on the market that meet our "Kitchen TV Requirements" - the TV with stand must not exceed 17 1/2-inches, so it could fit underneath the cabinet and slide back into the corner. The cool converter device permitted us to use one of our old small Sylvania 15-inch TV (Model # LC155SL8P) LCD HDTV.

This is samsung dex only available for samsung phones
