Only seen you pop up in my sidebar recommendations before now and I honestly assumed from the tight editing and integrity that you were a larger channel, so easy sub. Not at all influenced by an opportunity to hear my opinions on a video game affirmed by somebody else, no sir. I will indulge though.
Why do they have so many illusions of choice? Simply look at how they handled the mario maker duology whenever a fun glitch popped up, or how they openly refuse to support speedrunning & smash tournament charities; nintendo wants players to interact with their games ONLY how they designed them. Surprised this was just an hour long though, but good job hanging in there through it all.
32:32 Ok! Hear me out! They put the req invisible blocks when you can still otherwise get the door sticker. So while you are needing to frequently revisit that level to figure out how to proceed, you can go back to previous levels to get the door stuff. That kind of thing is… more fun as a child unless you have nostalgia, which… I do…
I know you pointed out that this game had twelve writers, but I think it's mostly because of the quantity of dialogue in the game and less about the quality of it. The writers can be funny when they're allowed to work with funny stuff (sniffit or whiffit, for example), but I can imagine everything else in this game was just draining to write. Anyway, it's fun to watch you play through this game! Every time I watch someone play through the game I remember how god awful the game design in it is and how many baffling decisions were made.
I'm still very very mad that sticker star was going to be good (based on real leaked images and early stuff) but then Miyamoto said:"Nah,Let me cook" and cook he did indeed,And in the end,He gave us food poisoning with his cooking
@DaBaseBallZ Yhe problem is that he didn't cook. He saw what the team was cooking, scrapped like 75-80% of it, and told them they needed to make do with what scraps he left.
You can see the seeds of the Color Splash and Origami King writing in this game. While those games do have their own flaws, I will give modern Paper Mario credit that they got better over time.
as a kid i only played stickerstar when it came out and didnt play any other paper mario games yet and i beat 100% without using the internet or being older than like 6. i had an amazing time and since replayed the game twice , and i am set that , if people stop comparing the game to the other crazy good games people would like it more ,like the game is fun , cute and just comfortable to play and mess around in with great little worlds but people only say "oh well its not as good as the others" and that just kinda makes me sad
TTYD made jokes about everything being paper by, like, having the ship at the start of the game turn around by unpeeling and flipping, not by just having a bunch of toads make obvious puns
Sticker Star was the second paper Mario that I played, and first paper Mario that I beat. That granted me the ability to play it without being physically ill, but it’s still so bad now that I’ve beaten all of the games
Sticker Star actually has some fine level design that would have been cool if it had an actual battle system imo. Also needing to backtrack for the one random correct sticker is TERRIBLE, and I mean AWFUL!
im now curious to see what bringles opinions would be if he played Color Splash and Origami King also imagine if you said no to the three stickers tutorial and then never unlocked that mechanic as a result, that'd be mad funny

Saddest part is this game was my introduction to paper mario. Like It wasn't the first game, but I never played a previous one. Glad I wasn't critical of my games back then and didn't write it, and the rest of the series, as not fun.
I remember I used to love this game a lot as a kid. Also I even completed the museum and checkpoint flags multiple times. Brings me nostalgia whenver i see it
I understand why others hate it
But its their opinion
And i have mine to keep and enjoy
57:04 It actually does, you could almost say it's a...
Hotel Mario
I love sticker Star, but I also played it first when I was eight so…
Looking forward to part 2! This is one of the only games I’ve ever started and not come close to completing. I got to like 2-4 and was so profoundly bored, even at age like 13
The fact that the best move in the game is a slot machine that only costs 3 coins tells you all you need to know about the game
New bringle video RAAHHH
attack power is based on max health btw
i subbed to this guy when he has 600 subs, I love this guys content hope the colledge or the whatever life is all going well!
i beat this entire game. i must have mentally blocked the memories of the whole world 3 cause I don't remember it being THIS atrocious.
Got to love that even tho you didnt crash the game you know exactly where it would of from the stutter aloine
Finally, someone decides to play peak.
A game about stickers? How a-peel-ing!
Grats on 50k btw6 digits will happen in no time for sure
19:12 I laughed SO HAAAAAARD at the awkwardness HAHAHA.
Also the Goomba idea in 1-1 is pretty funny imo
32:32 Ok! Hear me out! They put the req invisible blocks when you can still otherwise get the door sticker. So while you are needing to frequently revisit that level to figure out how to proceed, you can go back to previous levels to get the door stuff.
That kind of thing is… more fun as a child unless you have nostalgia, which… I do…
Members eating good
I was gifted my membership during this stream lol
I wasn't even in the stream and I got a membership
I love paper Mario sticker star, and you can't change that!!! and I already played it
I know you pointed out that this game had twelve writers, but I think it's mostly because of the quantity of dialogue in the game and less about the quality of it.
Is it paper or not? obviously there's paper water and real water and there's the in universe clothes made of paper and the out of universe paper.
59:04 It says more than Bowser does in the entire game.
Super Paper Mario let’s play when 👀 Love the content Bringle!
I really wish I got to be there for more of the livestreams, but glad my comment about the 12 credited writers got in the video 😊
Honestly I would like to see Nintendo remake this game. And I mean literally remake every part and actually make it good
27:02 Oh wow! You beat the boss using skill and determination? I’m gonna insult you anyways!
Members be cooking
I already finished it, but gave up once when I was at Loop Loop River, until I looked up a guide and got through it.
27:41 dunno if someone said this during the stream, but this is a rendition of a song from SMB3 before and after an Airship Level
Sticker Star was the second paper Mario that I played, and first paper Mario that I beat. That granted me the ability to play it without being physically ill, but it’s still so bad now that I’ve beaten all of the games
Huh.....
Since when do i have a membership
I mean i dont mind it. happy to watch bringling man videos early
there should be a counter for the word ''sticker'' and ''paper''' in this, this is insane!
First time I've seen an awesome video on this game and want to play it again.
Sticker Star actually has some fine level design that would have been cool if it had an actual battle system imo. Also needing to backtrack for the one random correct sticker is TERRIBLE, and I mean AWFUL!
im now curious to see what bringles opinions would be if he played Color Splash and Origami King
also imagine if you said no to the three stickers tutorial and then never unlocked that mechanic as a result, that'd be mad funny
I just noticed at the block shuffle mini game Mario always looks at the correct block while it’s shuffling
50k subs, grats mayne.
I smiled from your commentary on this game
This game mde me really upset as a kid because I was genuinely hoping for a Paper Mario game like the first 3 when I bought it. And then I ended up buying it for nothing. But seeing someone else go through it is a bit cathartic 🙂
"Like the first 3"
2 and 3 couldn't possibly be more different if they tried.
@@velvetbutterfly They both have great writing and pacing and feel like a fun adventure
The only difference really is the gameplay
@@velvetbutterfly I bought Sticker Star with the expectation of having a fun world and characters and adventure to be invested in
I finished chapter 1 and was still wondering when the actual game and plot would start
I finished chapter 2 hating myself for making myself continue the game in hopes of seeing anything of substance
I cried and gave up on chapter 3
56:26 I know you were talking about a chatter but I got shook when you said my name out loud like that XD
I remember getting my gifted membership from one of these streams. Loved the fish section!
🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
I remember being so hyped for this game after super paper Mario being my favourite and then being incredibly disappointed
But even though I think this isn't isn't completely awful though, I still think the other 3 are so much better. The soundtrack is nice though. The rest just feels like a New Super Mario Bros Game, what with the generic backgrounds, enemies and whatnot. It should be "Super Mario Sticker Star".
you need to play color splash please you love it or hate it but I think its good you need to play it there's like colors and big star
35:40 for selective censoring
snifit or whiffit had more personality than the entire rest of the game combined
I had this game when I was younger and lost it, blessing in disguise I guess
imo color splash managed to drop even more, feel like people just straight forget that game
I remember picking up Sticker Star as a kid and being just horribly disappointed. Played like... what, the first chapter? Then gave up on it for the obvious reasons, because it sucks so bad.
Can’t wait for the reaction to Boo Night Fever
