Bro, it's like this was going to just be some new IP but then late into development they slapped Mario onto it. I feel that if there weren't any battles besides the bosses and they trimmed down a LOT of the game(like the wiggler segments) this wouldn't be that bad of puzzle fight game. Using the thing stickers like the bat against the Pokey and Sponge against the Blooper showed potential.
Petey Piranha is the best boss in the whole game because his weakness is actually in the fight (being his bellybutton) as opposed to a thing sticker a thousand miles from you with no indication that it's needed for the battle. You get to learn the fight, face him properly, and he GIVES you stickers at times to help keep the fight going, but it took them until the FIFTH boss to realize that this should be how they play. And they immediately forgot about that with Bowser.
I actually lost in the final phase because Bowser is spiky and all I had left was jumps. I couldn't even get a hammer out of pity because I had a door in my inventory and it forced to me run.
@@Slenderquil I've seen footage of people use it and fail. Does it depend on where the fight takes place or did they fix it in an update? The 3DS doesn't have online features anymore, so new players who just got the game are stuck on 1.0

The 🐟 is now canonically one of the strongest beings in the Mario universe. All because he can train in space. Not a lot of characters can live in space so he just wins.
Space Land from Super Mario Land, Moon Kingdom from Super Mario Odyssey, World 4 in Super Paper Mario, the entirety of Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2... Turns out surviving in space is actually pretty easy in the Mario universe.
1:35 you make that joke... but some people WOULD actually do that, I remember one video from a mechanic where the owner claimed her turn signal kept turning on by itself. It was her super heavy ornament hanging off the stick that kept pulling it down.
I think I know why they decided to make 5-3 harder each time. The Megaflash Infinijump sticker on the Hidden Exit Path, is definitely the Best Sticker for damage. 3 per jump, total: 300. They definitely did make it harder to discourage those who would grind them out.
There is an incentive to fighting but its noticeable right of the bat and that is that is the easiest way to get coins and you can sometimes get stickers from enemies.
Fun fact, you can set the giant fish loose early and when you leave and come back it will still be there, even if you're gone for several hours. Imagine being one of the toads and freaking out about it for several hours.
I can't remember what compelled me to retry the fish after getting the secret exit, but I remember the third attempt being impossible for me. Even if I could feasibly do it, I was just flabbergasted that it gets as hard as it does!
Oh bro, I missed the streams cuz stuff happened, but your pain in this game is... undescriptable when you fully play it. I saw media that originally the game was supposed to be more RPG and have a chain chomp as a partner. Heck, I'll take the chain chomp partner over Kersti any day.
17:30 Bro, it's called Cartoon Logic. Getting frozen is just an Inconvenience in most forms of Fiction (specifically, the Cartoonish kind that the Paper Mario Series kinda looks like). Also, don't forget Jr. Troopa from the Original Paper Mario. He got frozen solid after Mario defeated him in Shiver Snowfield, and was able to fight Mario near the End of the Game.
Bringle got so lucky the fish didn’t insta kill him by popping it I had that happen so many times in my first play through. And I thought the stacked boo was impossible the first play though and used every single sticker I had. I did not know the infinity jump was required and how I needed to do the timings
I think sticker star was could be better by simply using different stickers to solve an issue and make fighting enemies worth it. Like they drop better sticks and you get more health or something silly
Part of me wants to fire up Sticker Star right now on my long unused 3ds but honestly there’s a reason kid me 100% the game so instead I’ll do my 1,000th run of Majoras Mask but the 3ds version
Even if the fish is the best part it still has a major issue when you try to do it again, For some reason there's a bug that actually makes the fish go FASTER to the point it becomes impossible to beat
That’s intentional, not a bug. It’s to prevent big/mega infinijump farming. Edit: Well, “prevent” isn’t really the right word, more like “make obnoxious/difficult”.

I feel that if there weren't any battles besides the bosses and they trimmed down a LOT of the game(like the wiggler segments) this wouldn't be that bad of puzzle fight game. Using the thing stickers like the bat against the Pokey and Sponge against the Blooper showed potential.
It’s worse. It was going to be more in the vein of PM64 and TTYD. Then it turned into this.
@@iantaakalla8180 I still miss the chain chomp partner :(
Petey Piranha is the best boss in the whole game because his weakness is actually in the fight (being his bellybutton) as opposed to a thing sticker a thousand miles from you with no indication that it's needed for the battle.
You get to learn the fight, face him properly, and he GIVES you stickers at times to help keep the fight going, but it took them until the FIFTH boss to realize that this should be how they play.
And they immediately forgot about that with Bowser.
48:35 sir, another sticker just hit the Pentagon
I actually lost in the final phase because Bowser is spiky and all I had left was jumps. I couldn't even get a hammer out of pity because I had a door in my inventory and it forced to me run.
Door stickers actually don't work on this fight, so you could have used it to get rid of it.
@@AkameGaKillfan777 Door stickers do work on that fight. I should know because I had to use it and it forced me to run away.
@@Slenderquil I've seen footage of people use it and fail. Does it depend on where the fight takes place or did they fix it in an update? The 3DS doesn't have online features anymore, so new players who just got the game are stuck on 1.0
@@AkameGaKillfan777 Maybe it's only the final phase? I have no clue. I didn't bother experimenting because that was the final straw and I stopped playing entirely after that.
@@supermarioglitchy321 you know you're right.
46:11 For this fight, if you don't jump on Petey, it actually doesn't attack, and you can't even kill it until you jump
1:35 you make that joke... but some people WOULD actually do that, I remember one video from a mechanic where the owner claimed her turn signal kept turning on by itself. It was her super heavy ornament hanging off the stick that kept pulling it down.
Bruh the fish in 5-3 getting harder with each play should be considered a war crime 😭
cool video but FYI this just straight up didn't show up in my subscription feed, saw it in my recommended page instead
Same, I dunno what happened

I can't confirm or deny if it showed up in my subscription feed since I never check it but yeah it showed in my recommended too
Would love to hear your perspective on KingK’s video he just put out on PM: Sticker Star
the best part of the game being something unintended is the best part of the game
"eERM, this isn't how REAL LIFE WORKS!"
- Bringle, playing a fucking super mario video game
I didn't think I'd ever hear the phrase "Mario's Posting Hole" on UA-cam, yet here we are. 🤣
Such a chill playthrough, and i love that fish section, the true final boss ahaha
🔫 🐟 song stuck my head
The Giant Fish Approaches, Sticker Star OST
Arent the invis blocks marked by the blue flowers?
Back for part 2 Bringle.
When are you gonna make your alt channel that's exclusively Sticker Star content?
"Snipin's a good job, mate" -Ice Bros.
Wait, so I fought this thing hardcore after getting the fish hook and you can deflate it with the spike hat?! That's so messed up and I love it 😂
Let’s goo this is a member moment
It's cool to see u play through sticker star. Do u have any plans for color splash and origami king?
Well now that you finished Sticker Star, guess its time for Color Splash!
ONE LAST FISH

I even didn’t know about a paper Mario on 3DS now i know what to find and suffer rhis weekend

Bro, it's called Cartoon Logic.
I think he's just joking around
Bringle got so lucky the fish didn’t insta kill him by popping it I had that happen so many times in my first play through. And I thought the stacked boo was impossible the first play though and used every single sticker I had. I did not know the infinity jump was required and how I needed to do the timings
the lava boat in sunshine was not that bad honestly
I feel like you should try Color Splash now just to see how it compares to Sticker Star.
The best parts of sticker star are when it’s not sticker star
Thanks for playing Sticker Star so that I never have to play Sticker Star
FINALLY IT'S FISH TIME
I think sticker star was could be better by simply using different stickers to solve an issue and make fighting enemies worth it. Like they drop better sticks and you get more health or something silly
yay, that's gore! that's gore of my uncomfort character!
Part of me wants to fire up Sticker Star right now on my long unused 3ds but honestly there’s a reason kid me 100% the game so instead I’ll do my 1,000th run of Majoras Mask but the 3ds version
ngl the final boss would actually be really good if you didnt need a billion thing cards. or in just any other rpg
You know what that means. FISH
The Brongle fish video spoiled me; I thought it was gonna be a whole new hour of dedicated fish level footage lol.
Fun fact : subscribing to bringle bringles happiness
I never knew you could use a spike hat to pop him? :o
You got to play color splash and origami king next.
we love the 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
2:02 OH BOY SMOOCHING TIME
I didn't watch all the first one, i fell asleep trying to three nights on a row
Literally the only thing I liked about sticker star is the music that plays while fighting giant bowser
I guessed Flutter because I have played Mario Party 6 at least a hundred times
thank you for showcasing stinker star, this game looks like it is not very fun at all. or at least not fun enough to be called a paper mario game.
Paper mario sticker star playthrough before paper mario 64 is crazy😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
11:23 I think you mean "Why do they call it oven when you of in the cold food of out hot eat the food"
you know what that means!
🐟
Even if the fish is the best part it still has a major issue when you try to do it again, For some reason there's a bug that actually makes the fish go FASTER to the point it becomes impossible to beat
Thats exactly why its so peak!
That’s intentional, not a bug. It’s to prevent big/mega infinijump farming.
Edit: Well, “prevent” isn’t really the right word, more like “make obnoxious/difficult”.
that’s why he enjoyed it so much

I forget where but chapter 5 has a Goombella reference, that's the most I remember about it
A letter in the garbage
It's symbolic of how this game trashed everything good about the first few games.
Also conveniently represents the nostalgiabaiting the Sticker Star-likes will do. Little cute references here and there, and it even culminates in The Origami King, a game emulating PM64 through the lens of a Sticker Star-like.
When are we gonna nuzlocke sticker star????
Nah dude chapter 4 is lowkey the best chapter
Why is this vid not in my sub list? Wtf
Very cool!
