I was 8 years old in 1965 when this song came out. Today, at 67 years old, I still listen to this beautiful song with great pleasure! Sonny & Cher are awesome! This song is eternal, unforgettable! I will never get tired of listening to it!

I think it was back in high school grade 9 that Sonny and Cher came on as the dream couple, every young students dream of California heaven in Ontario. They were the image of the perfect solution that never could happen.

His untimely death was tragic. I remember I watched the Sonny & Cher show. It was so Sweet after the divorce they remained good friends. I love If I Could Turn Back Time on The USS Missouri such a Beautiful song.

Austin, TX..13 year old kid loving life, thinking nothing about tomorrow or what it might bring..just a kid being a kid..life was so simple then, we could walk the streets without hearing gunshots or police sirens..we could walk to our neighborhood drive-in.. swimming pool and school without being in any danger..yes, life was so much happier then, and my God what I wouldn't give to go back there, and tell that little girl to listen and learn more about what was yet to come..🙏❤️🙏

I remember this song from "Look Who's Talking Too". The movie itself it's a nice anthology of family's problems and solutions, and it brings me to tears everytime I hear this song because, unfortunately, my parents split up like in the movie (but they never got back together) and I took care of my little sister like in the movie. Movies usually have a happy ending, life not. But at least this song brings me the memory of when we were all together.

Sonny and Cher were the married couple of rock and roll
This song is now me and my sons favorite song. His father and I would listen to it during beautiful nights in the woods, we were just kids but loved eachother so much. I got pregnant at 14 with our son, my parents kicked me out and so did his parents but we loved eachother. We moved into his grandparents place and tried to make it work and it worked well, I had our son at 15 and there were a lot of complications, he got diagnosed with severe autism at 4. It was a lot for us, a broke young couple to handle but we made it work. Anyways my husband died last year year , there was a fire and we lost everything. He thought me and my son were in there so he ran in when he saw it after he came home from work but we weren’t home, I lost him that day. Me and my son who’s now 13 moved back in with my boyfriends grandparents and it’s been tough. My son and I miss him terribly but we listen to this song together and know everything will be okay . Thanks for listening kind strangers, wish y’all lots of love ❤
