I think what makes this fight so amazing is that it’s just Link and the Demon King. No light arrows. Now help from Zelda. Just the hero’s skills against that of Ganondorf.
Fun fact, if you try using the Ordon Sword against Ganondorf, he just kicks you in the face for even daring to use that regular sword against him. It is straight up useless against Ganondorf, you have to use the Master Sword.
I adore OoT and BotW, but this is by far the best final boss fight against Ganondorf throughout the whole series. Playing this on a wii with the remote and actually having a sword fight with Ganondorf….ah, it was honestly the best.
I like how TP Ganondorf doesn't know about the Master Sword since he was captured and meant to be executed so he never fought Link in the child timeline.
Honestly I like tp ganondorf fight more than ww, I never finished ww but ik how the boss goes, sadly I can never complete it now. Out of all Ganon fights tp had the most in dept one I'd say.
The farm boy was literally chosen by the gods for this specific task, and wields one of the only weapons that can harm said dark lord. You're leaving out key details intentionally to make it seem more ridiculous than it is.
As a long time Zelda fan I do believe this was the best Ganondorf boss battle ever. There was so much for him to lose, so much lore, and grudge against OoT Link, and now he had to face his descent.
@@SirMexicanYCP At the time of playing the game(s), I did not. Didn't have the best Internet back then either, so yeah. It was a mixed blind playthrough and trying to use the official guide book. I know it now and it's hilarious.
I do agree BotW and TotK have both niice and pretty good ost, but i must say TwP has some of the chilliest and epic soundtracks of the franchise since OoT, like this Final Boss fight where you have to use your sword fightning skills to finish the massive warrior ganondorf is in a 1VS1, solo, no help, no handycaps, like the final bosses final phases in these last 2 zelda games have been 9.9
My oldest brother brought his wii over and showed us this game. He was at the end and let myself and our youngest brother best the game. I still remember the goosebumps of seeing gannondorf up close in the final battle and going "Holly shit...he's huge!" And that was when I knew this was a real boss fight. This is probably my favorite boss fight of all time to this day
About twilight princess, when I played it like 5 years ago, I still have the wolf link amiibo, and it's actually in perfect condition still after all of these years!
In Twilight Princess, the fight with Ganondorf was designed so that he had his own versions of every ability link had; beast against beast, horseback battle, and sword duel. (There's the puppet segment too, because you control Link as your puppet) In Tears of the Kingdom, the fight with Ganondorf was designed so that he had his own versions of every ability link had; one handed, spear, heavy, bow, perfect dodge and counter, excessive health recovery, summonable helpers.
THIS....... THIS.......THIS IS WHAT A TRUE LEGEND OF ZELDA FINAL BOSS BATTLE SHOULD BE: NO HELP FROM ALLIES, YOU & THE KING OF EVIL HAVE NO MAGIC, NO LIGHT ARROWS, JUST YOU AND THE GREAT KING OF EVIL...1 ON 1, MAN TO MAN, SWORD TO SWORD!!!!!! PLUS, WITH LIGHTNING AND THIS SONG IN THE BACKGROUND, IT HELPS SET THE STAGE FOR THE NUMBER 1 GREATEST SWORD FIGHT IN VIDEO GAMES AND THE LEGEND OF ZELDA SERIES POINT BLANK!!!!!!!!🗡️👍
Makes sense, because he's the Child timeline Ganondorf. so it pretty much a final battle against the OG Ganondorf like Wind Waker's. That said, I think another Ganondorf is born in the Child Timeline following TP's Ganondorf's demise. while the Adult timeline doesn't have a Ganondorf appear again, unless you want to count Malladus.
I remember the first time I played Twilight Princess.. I had just got to Hyrule castle heard the menacing theme as I got closer and thought this will be a epic battle, I fought the Boar Ganon and Puppet Zelda. Then the horseback and Finally Ganondorf I thought wow the whole adventure led up to this. And I beat him in about 4 minutes ITS THE FINAL BOSS!!!!! They should at least make it a bit longer not like Darksouls hard, but maybe a bit more harder and more epic. Now you're probably thinking "Just use Ganondorf amibo and mastermode" Even then it's still to short and also that wasn't a thing in Wii or Gamecube so great job Nintendo, Don't get me wrong I love this game but c'mon its the final battle the whole journey led up to this!!!

Technically the music in the game are all the same but just have different graphics and different parts that you dont even here in the other legend of zelda games because its a remake not the original. And also in ocarina of time at the ending zeldas lullaby plays in a gentle way. But in Skyward Sword in the beginning Zelda is singing the lullaby while playing the harp

I would tend to agree, but every time I hear Ganons theme from OoT I reconsider. God such a good fight
@@imhaddanitattaxx4172 Man, just replayed it and you're speakin truth right now. The whole ending sequence of OoT is so great.
You forgot the fishing rod technique!
Really was. Would be awesome if they redo it with SS Level Inputs.
I've still got a soft spot for the Wind Waker final battle, myself.
This is suppose to be a serious and epic sword fight against ganondorf.
But Link decided to use Ganondorf worst nightmare : the fish rod
Would you hear my desire?
To use this blade to blot out Nintendo Ninjas forever!
Dark Lord of Uploading Nintendo Music
GANONDORF

" Boy, I'll put you to sleep. "
Ganondorf from Hyrule warriors-
Tears of the kingdom has that in its final boss.
Fighting Ganondorf has and always will give me the chills
The sword clash QTE is really cool, the music also gets more hopeful if your winning the sword clash which is genius.
Dynamic soundtracks are awesome.
@@TheUltimateNatural hell yeah!
You ever try to beat him without clashing? It makes the fight that much more in depth
@@willthrash9289 I have. I had to back-slice all the time but it was worth it
a normal fantasy sound track for a final battle like this one is amazing
Clash 3:08 to 3:14
Loss 3:21 to 3:27
Winning 3:34 3:43
Win 3:43 to 3:53
I love that during the sword clash the time signature changes to 5/8, it really makes the player feel the tension of the moment
"An impressive looking blade….
But nothing more…."
"Would you hear my desire?"

especially intresting since ganondorf destroyed the sword acording to botw2 trailer

Here after Tears of the Kingdom's Ganondorf? Here's one billion Rupees
Who would win
An ancient dark lord who survived his execution and uses said executioners blade as a weapon
OR
A farmboy with a fishing rod

Yeah. Ganondorf is around 230cm (7'6") in both OoT and TP
If any of this song plays in BoTW2 during a hypothetical fight with Ganondorf, i will cream as loud as humanly possible.

I will....cream as loud as humanly possible?!?! Woah....you mean scream, right??😳😟
@@Toucan_Man01ⁿ i said what i said.

How about a bit of all of them that would be awesome. Oot: ganondorf, WW: ganondorf, TP: ganondorf, and also SS: demise. Now that would be awesome.
Best Zelda game of all time.

Ganondorf's best theme by far. The vocals sound like an epic battle to the death between vikings or some shit lol
The greatest fishing theme ever
As soon as this song starts you know it’s going to be a fight to the death.
After beating TOTK, I feel that final was almost like a reimagining of this battle with a better sense of what they were trying to portray
