I started playing with the Steam release and Zig's shop has been the one thing that I just couldn't understand, nor find any real guides for it (notably this late into the game). It was negatively affecting my experience because I just COULDN'T FIND INFORMATION about HOW to get things that are required for Zig's exchange.

This made me realize how close I was to the Valua EX.
I started playing a week ago and honestly the biggest tip I've received was from a random player in party: "buy a Dim weapon".
I know it's not upgradeable (I guess) but it is VERY strong compared to what I had and it cost just 100k from player shops.
It changed everything.

The Novel Units are great units and fairly easy to get
Why novel is viable in ur opinion?
@@kimberlims6951 because it offers the most HP out of all the units currently available excluding rappy shine, so good for defense and at only 100 RWB5 it's fairly easy to get, true it has a huge dex star requirement so some classes will only get to use it at about 86 or so but still a great unit
@@kimberlims6951 I bought a Novel gun while I get all the materials together. Seemed to be a good and cheap choice for a useful gun
not going to lie, i skipped like all the tutorial stuff and was pretty lost, lot of information i kinda just passed over, thankfully ive played a ton of mmos so i adapted fast and im back on track, your videos did help though.

Hey this guy I was playing with today told me I should work towards the trailblazer rod as my first big weapon as it still be useful as a pp battery like on jp when all the broken op weapons come to global what are your thoughts on this (I am working on my rod phantom)
Brooo, I wish you made this video earlier XD my stupid ass last week tried to make a Atlas EX TMG but went to the whole process that Zig gives you and ended up wasting a lot of materials. Then when I was thinking if it was worth it I wanted to check in the market if the weapons I needed were there and yup, they were XD and then second mistake, I didn' realized the maximum enhancement cap and wasted a lot of meseta buying weapons, then ran out of materials and decided to just checked the last weapons before getting the atlas ex (lumiere and val) and dude, they were there too and so cheap HAHAHAHAH and right now im here running a lot of profound darkness triggers to get +10 star weapons and get the excubes I need hahaha

Don't worry! You will soon find out in my upcoming podcast that most if not all of the content creators for PSO2 have made similar mistakes! (I personally have made pretty much every mistake possible in this game!)

Did you just grind to get all that photon booster or is there an easy way to get it fast?
Just started watching so I have no clue whats said in this video but whats the opinion of the croesus weapons? Can easily get from collection sheets and unless the NA arks visiphone website is missing some of the more obvious end game weapons the croesus weapons are pretty high up there for the base atk before augments and other effects.
I'd say it's good enough: I have about 120 hours of play in to the game, and I can consistently do the "Barren Blossom, Butcher of Light" quest on Extremely Hard and unbuffed attack with the collection folders gear. That said I use the Orb weapon rather than Croesus/Millionaire because Deep Blue Dawn works well with my Gunner. I have tried both collection folder
series, and in normal gameplay they hit just as hard as each other. (i.e. if it wasn't for the fact Orb weapons have a different PP regeneration, I wouldn't notice in combat.)
For Ultra Hard, I'd say I'm at a disadvantage in damage unbuffed, so I pick the Attack Up damage bonus from my alliance tree.
My gear is with all default or otherwise untouched affixes:
Gearmorta Orb +32 (I completed collection folder 3 times and enhanced 3 of the weapons into each other.)
Arms, Legs / Schevelle +10 (Tokyo Rainbow key)
Back / Novel + 10 (Bought with badges)
As mentioned in another creator's video, some (bad) players over-focus on gear. What I'm seeing in Ultra Hard is the players who don't do enough damage are just not playing correctly, and gear won't help that!
Should I try and get the trailblazer units now or should I wait for the new ones coming out?

Does anyone know the difference each persona difficulty yields in fragments? It seems to be all over the place for me and I'm wondering if I should just run the lowest difficulty. Also does rare drop rate increase the amount of fragments you receive?
You need to remember you can copy and paste in the game you can even copy assets from inside the game text and what not and paste them into your search bar on your Explorer or browser
you can use noval unit too

Btw right now I'm using Croseus weapon for leveling (the one from Collection folder 15*) and is the trailblazer much better than Croseus? Because even it is only +30 my Croseus rifle have like 2,4k dmg which is higher than the +35 Trailblazer weapon, also I think the weapon potency are not really that bad as it have a small chance to heal you for 100 HP whenever you deal an attack and also increase your PA dmg if I'm not mistaken. What do you think Kerro?
And also for units, right now I'm using Novel set from RWB 5, so do you recommend to get the upgraded version of this from Zig or is it better to make Trailblazer unit? Thanks man
I personally would say if your surviving all the content your doing right now with your current gear then there is no need to upgrade (yet)! Just keep saving up those excubes/ meseta/ lambda grinders until you hit a difficulty wall and feel the need to upgrade!

Is there a title for the material for every val weapon type you +35 or just the first one? Im playing phantom and wanna do rod katana. I have the katana and im now on to the rod.
The title is just for the 'first time' you make a +35 Val weapon!

What's the purpose of the EX weapon mini? Could I also choose to feed it any other high star weapon? I'm asking since I'm very new to the game and I'm not sure how much benefit I'm getting from using one over the other.
Exp mini’s give a bit more exp than a random weapon. Your welcome to use other fodders but just keep in mind it will always consume grinders and more importantly lambda grinders which are rare when first starting out.
Appreciate this guide a ton, I've been a pleb that's already put in over 200 hours and didn't really know this information. Sigh.
Are Atlas EX weapons anywhere near endgame? I am fine to grind and put resources toward it, but is there more? Are Klauz the endgame ones?...
Klauz are what I personally consider the end game units & weapons! Atlas Ex is still a very good weapon if that's all you have! You can still comfortable do most of the content the game offers with the Atlas Ex.
Is it worth sticking with millionaire weapons from the collection folder while I work toward my rivalate weapon or should I go get an atlas?

If your planning to make Rivalate I am assuming you did season 11’s mission pass and have the rivilate key. If that’s the case then skip Atlas Ex and go straight for rivilate! However if you don’t have the rivilate key... we’ll you won’t be able to make that weapon, thus atlas Ex is the next best choice. But using the millionaire weapon as a ‘temporary weapon’ is perfectly fine!

If your a new player, how do you get Weapon badge 4 to start farming the void fragments if all your getting is weapon badge 5 from the mission pass? is there a way to exchange the badges? but other from that great vid i never actually knew what to go for.... Been playing since JP servers :S
You can trade down Weapon badge 5's to weapon badge 4's in the weapon badge exchange (1 WB5 for 2 WB4, I believe)
Yes, you can downgrade your UWB5's into UWB4's! You just talk to the same NPC, select UWB5 and at the very bottom it'll give you the option to downgrade them to 4's.

in a quick summary, you can only do the malevolent void trigger 3 times a day if in the case it is the trigger of 12 people but if it is the 4 person version you can do it as many times as you want, english is not my first linguage so sorry if there any gramatical error
There is no limit to the 12 man version. The '3 times' message you get when using a trigger is how many time you can 'reset' it without actually consuming the trigger!
@@keroppi actually you cant use the trigger if that reaches to 0 you can test if you want, the 12 version works on the same way as an UQ

Currently i am a phantom rod main Using the millionaire rod and genom rifle with the stella wall units from the titles. i watched the video about cras weapons and such but until i can farm for that weapon how should i proceed with gear?
I personally recommend buying a set of Cleasis units with decent augs off the playershop and then upgrading them at zigs, you can change your rising badge 5s into 4s and then buy the boosters you need with those badges to do so.

How good are Val weapons? I just started a week ago. Im sure they can carry me for a bit, but I would like to know how far, and then how good they get down the line.
They are alright for a temporary weapon. I wouldn’t spend too many resources to get one though!

Keroppiiiii, i need your knowledge. I have farm 100 erebite but i can not upgrade my TrailBlazer units because i have upgrade it to +10 (my three units). What can i do now? Uninstall pso2? Can i Fix this mistake?
You can still upgrade them! Make sure the units are not equip’d and not locked!

I completed the story! (Episodes 1-5) But I recommend doing Episode 6 as well! Lots of free items, star gems, and boosters!
It's sad that I'm late and playe in March because Lumiere Cousios are now costing like 4-8 mil and are either becoming rare or something because I barely see anymore being sold. It's specially sad because I want Lumiere as the base so it becomes even more stupid expensive when trying to find one with Light element and full slot.
There is only one boss that drops those void fragments, and he isn't even hard, so it is super boring, and takes forever. It would be nice if the void fragments were added to the drop table from some other quests.
Make sure to lock the weapon you're enhancing; you might accidentally feed it to a trash weapon 😂

You get 3 per "Have a drink" daily quest per character daily -duh-, so if you get your 3 alts at 50, just follow kero's guide to "speedrun" dailies and you'll get a good amount by the end of the week.
IIRC, you can also exchange excubes or photon boosters (don't remember right know which of the two or if both) for them, though you should only do so if you are really in a hurry, because that can get quite expensive in terms of resources (although you can get a good bunch of both items by endgame, but still)
Also, some client orders reward you with a couple, so you should check which ones are available before jumping into an exploration.

@@kimberlims6951 Those are good enough as the video says. You don't necessarily need to get them at day 1 tho. Just take your time to get everything you need to make them, and in the meantime, just use the best weapon you can get for the class you are playing, which could be anything you get from the floor tbh.
There are certainly better weapons than the Atlas Ex, but those require a weapon that can carry you through the hardest content, which is why the Atlas Ex is a good "starter" weapon to begin with...
One thing I don't get, why go for the Trailblazer units when you can easily buy the Novel units with badges? Aren't the Novel units better?
Both are good choices. Trailblazer is considered more 'well rounded' stat-wise compared to Novel, thus more suitable for 'all classes'.
i think the new player should take the collection folder weapon first that has million set or something like that since it was easier to get before getting atlas
My original thought were the same until I saw the dex requirement. Val weapon has a lower requirement (thus it can be equipped at a lower level earlier).
Val weapons are currently 1mil meseta in ship 4 :( as a new player that hurts the bank :(

The amount of friends I've told to at least skip through the story for the rewards, only for them to brush it off is infuriating. Like guys...free stuff, you don't even have to watch everything like I did (I do enjoy the story but still, free stuff).

You can get a lot from urgent quests (especially when your slightly higher level and doing XH or above).

is trailblazer the end game gear??
Units? It’s one of a few possible end game units that are trade offs from each other. Currently it’s reasonable to consider it best in slot.
For weapon: Of what is available technically Rivilate is. But Trailblazer with a 200atk stat with the relevant S1 ability is ‘almost’ on par with Rivilate.
Rivilate differs by offering a S5 and S4 slot with solid built-in crit support. But some of the materials to craft it are expensive while others are a slog to farm.
But since Trailblazer restores PP to full once every 120 seconds it’s always worth getting even if you haven’t affixed it well, and it will reasonably tide you over on your way to new weapons. (it also looks pretty cool)

TrailBlazer Units or wait for a next update??
My golden rule has always been if your farming the content you want to farm easily then there is no need to upgrade and just wait for the next update. HOWEVER, if you are having trouble/ want to farm harder content (now) then there is no harm in upgrading now.

You dont need a stone for ex. Just for the regular atlas. Ex just costs the weapons and ex cubes

@@chrisx2009 I read up that there’s 3 ways to get it. 1. The mission pass to 30
2. Get atlas to 35
3. Get 600 titles

Starting at level 50, your daily missions and weekly missions will be at their true rewards. Each week, your weekly missions will grant you 2 million each week total, as well as proper exp gains.
This is for players who missed that event. And this gearing guide is meant to be done across several weeks.
